My neighbor used kelley tree service last week and while they were pulling the limbs of a downed tree up to the truck they dragged them across my property taking out my mailbox.. They did leave a note saying they will pay for the damage. i called them and they sent a check for the mailbox replacement..the problem is my mailbox is trashed and cannot be used!! i now have to install it myself AGAIN which wasnt easy since we have alot of rocks here at rock pond. Kelley tree service told me they would send there guys to install it but they dont know when that will be? so am i just supposed to not get mail for 2 weeks!! i will be Re-Installing it myself with much resentment toward there company.. Its not just what a company does for you but its how they treat your neighbors and there property. They also claim to be veteran owned well i am a US Marine and they could care less. if i could leave a -5 for a review i would..TRASH. Semper Fi unless your Kelley Tree Service.

Was quoted $500 for simple single tree removal and promised same week service. I paid a deposit to secure scheduling. Tried calling for 4-5 weeks and they were not responsive. Finally they said they misquoted and it was $2,500. When asked why they hadn’t told me sooner, they claimed that they were busy calling the police to schedule a tree removal. It took me another 4 weeks to get my deposit back. At one point they said they sent the deposit check to my neighbor. These guys may be the worst. If I had time I would have loved to take them to small claims court. Avoid them like a plague.

The man who assessed and quoted the job was very professional and knowledgeable. Things went downhill from there. The crane broke the morning the crew was supposed to cut down a huge, half-rotten tree in our backyard. Fair enough but nobody called to tell us this--I had to chase down the answers to what was going on. The job was rescheduled without consulting me first on a day when I had company in town so I asked for another day. No word for a week, so I called back. . .basically, communication was poor and, when the job finally got done a month after it was originally scheduled, the workers left water and soda bottles in the backyard, didn't remove and grind the stump, as was specified, and didn't shape and trim our dogwood tree, as specified in the quote--all they did was hack off a couple of low-hanging branches and leave the unshaped part at the top unshaped. They did come back to cut and grind the stump--on a Saturday morning, without informing me first, which is not cool when you have pets that go outside. Bottom line: poor communication, half-assed work.

They did an excellent job, returned calls, fair price, got it done when they said they would. Could not ask for better service.

Excellent communication really made this transaction. Everyone was professional. Steve, the estimator and arborist, was extremely helpful with more than just a basic quote. We discussed the current and future landscape and tree needs. As I recently bought a neglected property, a non-hurried discussion with a knowledgable resource was terrific. Kristin, in the office handled scheduling and paperwork, was also a pleasure. I had a few questions about the company's insurance and licensing. Kristin provided all the information and also emailed confirmation from their insurance company within an hour of our conversation. Because of the rain we had a couple of conversations to nail down the exact start day/time. Ryan and crew were professional on all counts. I was thrilled they figured out how to take down an extra tree not originally in the contract. All work was done carefully. Clean up was very good. Also, what a pleasure to be thanked both in person as the crew left and by email later in the day. The price was very fair. Kelley Tree Service goes in my repeat contractor file for the excellent communication and professional business practices.

Kelley Tree Service did an excellent job (including clean up) at a reasonable, fair price. Their team was punctual, professional, and I could tell they knew what they were doing and were very experienced. Overall, a job well done. I will hire again!!

All work was done to perfection.

It went great! They arrived promptly, worked very hard and did an excellent job.Every tree in the yard got attention, either removed or pruned. My yard was left cleaner than they found it. They even removed several fallen branches and a large brush pile that was already in the yard. My yard looks beautiful! Kristin,in the office, provided top-notch customer service! So happy! Highly recommend!

No problem scheduling service. Did exactly what was quoted. All the branches on the tree near power-lines were trimmed.

Cut down tree. Cut the tree up for firewood for my neighbor. They also cleaned up all the debris. I recommend them highly.
