Waited 3 months from contract signing but DaveVanderbuilt kept me informed & always returned my calls. Workmanship excellent. Worked long hours & cleaned up daily.

Excellent...some if the best work I've had done. The installers arrived when they said they would. They proceeded to cover their immediate work area with drop clothes and the remaining work area with plastic. The install went smooth especially with the age of the house (pre 1900). After the window was in completely, they spray foamed to insulate. Finally they installed the trim, then put latex caulking around the trim and capped any screw holes( couple on each side). For the post-install, they cleaned their work area, put any finishing touches on the areas they worked on.

From the salesperson to the crew these are a group of remarkable people. The windows are gorgeous! These folks were professional, polite, worked together like a perfectly piece of machinery. No loud music, no goofing off, cleaned up after themselves. The work is awesome and I the product is beautiful and efficient as promised. They arrived on time. Removed old door, did prep work, insulated, installed new door and cleaned up all in 2½ hrs. Very efficient and friendly workers.

Great! Beginning with the consult with Brian to the end of the roof installation, the process was seamless and without issue. The roofing team arrived on time and completed the job in 1 day! Dennis, the foreman, listened to all my questions and concerns and addressed them all with a smile. I feel that I received a quality product with exceptional customer service.

One of most painless experiences you will ever have with a service provider. Nice people, not cheap but the quality was great. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Ernie responded to my initial inquiry within 15 minutes of leaving a message and Brian came out to discuss the proposed work the next day. We have an older house (new homeowners) needing both a roof and siding replacements. They were able to offer siding replacement for those areas that truly need it now and did not push to jack up the sale beyond what was necessary. We are looking forward to seeing the work complete soon and will update the review afterwards.

From talking to the salesman, dealing with office staff & meeting the 2 installers, Mike & David everyone was courteous, professional and we are completely satisfied.

3 men crew is informative about old & how work. They are hard working & knowledgeable about the whole process of installing windows. Crew is very polite & courteous & left the areas clean & neat.

Everything went fine except that a lock I did not want was installed.

Contacted the company via company web site. Phone call received in about 15 minutes to make a presentation appointment on the first day/time convenient for me. Next received email from Rep John Morrison with hsi email & phone information to confirm meeting date/time. John showed up on time with all necessary information. He presented the goods and services available from coastal in an orderly and precise manner and asnwered my questions. He walked the property, did his calculations and prepared a clear proposal. A final price negotiation next took place via email and telephone. Once accepted, John made a timely appointment to have the contract signed. The next contact was with site supervisor Paul to provide his information. A few weeks past to allow the roofing to be made, painted the color I chose (Volcanic Stone) and to be delivered to my home. Not many days after delivery, the crew came (3 men) and installed the new roof in 1 1/2 days - over the only 2 days period that it did not rain form many consequtive days. The crew was industrious and cleaned up well after themselves. Before, during and after the installation, Paul was always available to andswer questions or otherwise render assistance. I am well satisfied with the entire process of having this roof done and I have had compliments from neighbors and passers by.

Company came to deliver a service for smother vent on that went out of business. From the stair; very professional, prompt, courteous, cleaned up and the door are gorgeous. Put strom doors back on and they work better than before.

The job took a total of 2 weeks, as promised. They started by removing the wood shingle siding from our home and then installed new vinyl siding. Their team was professional & courteous at all times & communicated all aspects of the job very well. Our home looks amazing!

They showed up on time but began work with no hello or greeting. I don't like someone climbing on my roof before I'm aware they are present. Also, the foreman who didn't speak very good English was not there when they arrived and I quickly realized no one else in the crew spoke English. After paying I noticed that some of the roofing was not totally flush to the roof and needed extra glue. I took pictures and communicated this to the Salesman John who told me that David would get in touch with me. I reached out twice and they remedied the problem in about three weeks time. The owner, Stephanie, gave me a call to find out about some of my concerns. She was apologetic about what happened. Overall the work ended up being done in a mostly professional way.

The install went very well. The team showed up on time, was professional, efficient and did an overall excellent job. We also had them add an additional to our living room and it looks amazing. You would never know it wasn't originally part of the house. We highly recommend Coastal to others.

They charged me nothing extra, but I got nothing from it. He recommended replacing the gutter and it turned out that it wasn't necessary. So, I hired another company to come in and do the work, that I thought was more qualified to do the complete work that needed to be done, which included the guttering. Other than him coming out here, to give me a price for a new gutter, which wasn't the best option for me, I received nothing for that $99.

Joe & Dave arrived & got to work immediately they were very hard workers and did a really fabulous, attractive & efficient job replacing porch windows. They were esp. considerate of how the final installments would look. Awesome guys & work.

Coastal Windows & Gutters fixed what I had been concerned about regarding one of their former installers who did not do quality work that I paid for last year. When my concerns were raised, Stephanie and David treated me with total respect as a customer and dispatched 2 new installers to properly fix the problem. They really stepped up to the plate to resolve the issue fairly. Mark and Bernie arrived on time (on a Sunday!) and did excellent work to complete the job. I am satisfied and recommend this company to anyone. I plan to use them in the future.

The installation was flawless. Mike and Eric arrived on time and set to work immediately. They kept me apprised of what was going on. I am beyond pleased with the doors and window. One of my concerns was the color of the doors as they had to match the other doors in order to meet condo association standards. It was a team effort and the choice was perfect. From the start, everyone that I worked with was professional and efficient. From Randy who scheduled the appointment for the estimate, to John who came out and did the estimate, to Mike who came out to do the critical measurements, to Mike who came back with Eric to do the installation. Custom Windows and Exteriors is a class act. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

It went very well. The work crew was very quick and worked in all sorts of weather. They even work through a small snow storm. The only time they did not work was during a very heavy downpour. The work was of very good quality and they took care of every little detail such as sealing and caulking all joints. They even corrected some deficiency of the original installation. They were very responsive.

The short version is, it's like I have a new house that looks great and is noticeably warmer. I'm quite happy with the work and materials. The work was fast and professional, and the new roof looks fabulous. The old roof had some damage and I was thrilled to have the new one in before winter truly started. We were replacing all the windows in the house, and for three windows that were small octagons we replaced them with tall, narrow rectangular windows that fit into the same stud width. The new windows weren't ready before the holidays so the install didn't start until January 20. Replacement of 28 windows, 3 of which required larger holes cut, was complete in 3 days. The windows crew was great, very fast, very organized. The new windows are great. They replaced the 25-year-old original windows - wood frame, poor glass, and a lot of deterioration (sagging, diagonal - I had 1/8 inch air gaps in some places that had to be taped in the winter). The first night the crew had replaced one of the two windows in my sons' room but not the other; using a IR thermometer the glass temperature on the new window was a full 10 degrees warmer than the old window (~30F outside). The siding crew started on January 25 and took 5 days. They removed the old wooden siding, put up house wrap, molded Styrofoam insulation, and new siding. They replaced the front door, the large french door on the back porch, and removed and walled in an unused back door. Again, the work was high quality and the house looks great. Coastal also coordinated some outside contractors for related work - removing and replacing the back deck, and replacing degraded brick front steps with attractive bluestone. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the work. The house looks great, it's warmer - I can tell my furnace is cycling less - and the amount of stress involved in the process was lower than I'd expected. Their ability to coordinate third parties for those tasks they didn't handle directly was helpful, although - minor drawback - the initial estimated price for the third-party work wasn't realistic and rose once the third parties were actually involved. But I didn't want to take on the role of head contractor, so it worked out acceptably for me. I didn't interact much with the roof crew - they were on the roof! - but I interacted with the window and siding crews, and was comfortable and confident they knew what they were doing. A few nails ended up on the driveway here and there, but I haven't had any flat tires, and I don't think any crew ever leaves zero nails. Bottom line, I would recommend Coastal, and I would use them again.

Day 1 - 3 men to start job. Worked steadily till two hours after dark in flood lights. Day 2 - Cleaning out decay and installed new window on jacks. Day 3 - Finished carpentry casement, sill and reinforcement of structures as well as shingles.
