In April I bought $200 worth of gutter replacement for $99 on Angie's List. I was contacted by Coastal Windows and Exteriors and met with the salesman.? I signed a contract for replacement of an ice-damaged gutter on April 23 and paid a down payment of $265.? After much delay the damaged gutter was removed, but the rotted fascia board was discovered.? Replacement of the board required another visit from the salesman and an additional deposit.? After more weeks went by the work was finally finished in late August.? However my initial? coupon purchase of $99 ended up costing $3425. Communication with Coastal Windows and their subcontractor, who actually did the work, was a problem.? Several times a date was set for the work to be done and nothing happened.? I was annoyed that I wasn't kept informed of events. However, the gutter replacement was well done, once the work started.? I'm pleased with the appearance of the new gutter.

The process took a much longer than anticipated with some bumps in the road, but in the end the work was very well done and we were satisfied with the quality of the product and the work. We started the work in the beginning of April and the work was not complete until the beginning of August for 75 ft of gutter with leaf guard. It took 8 to 10 calls to get the work scheduled over several months, there were a couple of mishaps, gutters where put on the wrong parts of the house, deadlines were missed for completing the work etc.. With that said, they followed up consistently to check on our satisfaction, including calls from the owner of the company to apologize for errors, and continued to work on the project until we were completely satisfied with the job and everything we agreed to was completed and we were happy with the work. They stood by their work and honored their work agreement. We want to answer "maybe" to the question if we want to use this provider again.

From the time a representative from the company came to discuss product and pricing to the time of installation (and beyond), my husband and I have been please with the timely responsiveness of the company (including all employees we came in contact with). This timely responsiveness includes that of both owners who were available to respond to particular questions we had related to our insurance claim (ice dam damage). In addition, the company representative we worked with who coordinated our job has also been readily available during and after job completion. Replacing the roof was the beginning of a long road to recovery from the 2015 winter storm damage we experienced. (We are now in the final stages of the process.) We are extremely happy that we chose Coastal Windows and Exteriors, Inc.; we were grateful that the first step in our "put back" process was worry free and completed satisfactorily. We love our new roof!

We are very happy with the results. For us, quality of roofing materials and quality of installation was the primary piece. Its not every day that a new roof goes up, so we were happy to pay for the highest quality roofing system, which is all Coastal ever uses or recommends. They replaced a large roof and two flat roofs, plus another small crew replaced old clapboards and installed some decorative shingles in the eaves. I thought the price was more than fair for all that we got, including high-end installation experts. The main roof looks incredible, and was done in two days - our work included putting a layer of wood underneath the shingles because our existing wood was old and had lots of knot holes. They tarped the roof overnight because there was a slight chance of rain. The crew foreman couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with. The crew was very good about protecting plants and things from damage - they also did a great job with cleanup.
Our rep who initially took us through everything in the consultation and answered all of our questions was great. He never once pushed us - he just answered all of our questions and got us very comfortable with the materials, the awesome warranty, the exact work to be done, and made us realize how good a value it is, without forcing anything. Then they were very diligent in setting out the time-frame, timing, etc. It was all very comforting and reassuring.
We would absolutely recommend this company to friends, which is about as high praise as we can give.

Overall, the quality of the work was okay. Note that Coastal did intervene during the course of the work, after I expressed some displeasure about the quality, and after the work had been completed for some time in response to my initial review. I appreciated that very much. The most glaring issue was fixed and the results are now pretty good.
Given the efforts to make sure the results were acceptable, I'd recommend Coastal to friends and neighbors and I'd use them again, should the situation arise.

For the most part, we are pleased with the work done. The first crew that came out was not punctual and took lots of breaks. They were quickly replaced and all other work went quickly and efficiently. The window people were excellent. The garage door installer also did a great job. At this time, there are still some small loose ends regarding siding that were never completed. There are materials left for that work to be completed. A recently installed storm door does not fully open. We were told we would be contacted to fix this problem.

Coastal Windows & Gutters fixed what I had been concerned about regarding one of their former installers who did not do quality work that I paid for last year. When my concerns were raised, Stephanie and David treated me with total respect as a customer and dispatched 2 new installers to properly fix the problem. They really stepped up to the plate to resolve the issue fairly. Mark and Bernie arrived on time (on a Sunday!) and did excellent work to complete the job. I am satisfied and recommend this company to anyone. I plan to use them in the future.

Job very well done! The installer fit us in on a Saturday due to the job not being a large one. He finished quite quickly and installed it professionally and cleaned up any residue.

It was pretty good. They did a great job with the roof and window installation. This was the first time I had a roof put on my house, and they were very professional. They did a great job. Everyone was great. The contractor was very responsive. I would recommend them. It took longer as they had to install windows for me, because some of my windows are not regular size. They were in and out and they cleaned up after themselves, you wouldn't even know they were here. The roof was in a really bad shape, and it was a very complex roof. They were great, and I would recommend them to anybody on my street. A neighbor down the street needs windows, and I have recommended them to her. I got a discount because the sales rep is my neighbor. I didn't do a lot of shopping around.

They were pretty good with installing triple pain windows. They also did roofing but they forgot to tack down some of the flashing so we tried to match schedules and couldn't so I have went forward with the repair with someone else.
