The person who came to give us the estimate arrived 15 minutes early, then explained what a huge favor he'd done for us, to come to our house, which was quite inconvenient for him. Never mind that we were still getting dressed etc when he arrived. It didn't occur to him to wait in his car until the agreed upon time. He then proceeded to give us a very hard sell, insisting that we either sign a contract right then, or not at all, since no one would be driving all the way back to our house, to sign a contract later. He then added that he wasn't trying to pressure us. I have rarely been so put off by a sales person in my life. We got a refund on our big deal, and did not proceed with this company.

It turned out that my gutters didn't need replacing. May I have a refund or credit?

Job very well done! The installer fit us in on a Saturday due to the job not being a large one. He finished quite quickly and installed it professionally and cleaned up any residue. I would recommend the use of them to friends for sure!

It was pretty good. They did a great job with the roof and window installation. This was the first time I had a roof put on my house, and they were very professional. They did a great job. Everyone was great. The contractor was very responsive. I would recommend them. It took longer as they had to install windows for me, because some of my windows are not regular size. They were in and out and they cleaned up after themselves, you wouldn't even know they were here. The roof was in a really bad shape, and it was a very complex roof. They were great, and I would recommend them to anybody on my street. A neighbor down the street needs windows, and I have recommended them to her. I got a discount because the sales rep is my neighbor. I didn't do a lot of shopping around.

It went awesome and they were fantastic.

They were pretty good with installing triple pain windows. They also did roofing but they forgot to tack down some of the flashing so we tried to match schedules and couldn't so I have went forward with the repair with someone else.

They came out and gave an estimate for $4,400 for the project which was a lot more than I was expecting. I decided to not go through with the project and asked Angie's list for a refund.

I was not happy with their business model they very aggressive and obnoxious in their sales pitch. They seem to spend a lot of time and training on their sales end of things as oppose to putting all that work and resources in their product.

Rich & his crew arrived about 8 am, job went really well. They stayed until almost 8 pm to finish the bay window. Everything was done in one day.

The advertisement was misleading. The company stated that Angie's List had worded the ad, and the wording couldn't be changed. I feel the company could of and should have pushed a bit harder, to avoid misunderstandings.

Weather caused delays in schedule, but after that, everything was perfect.

We filed a Better Business Bureau claim against them. We were thinking of getting a new roof. We put online that we were looking for a new roof. We got a call from Coastal Windows and I said okay sounds like a good idea. We said come on over and give us an estimate and we'll look around some more and then we'll get back with you. We had another person come out who was going to give us an estimate and they pretended they were me and called up and canceled my order and when I got home and I was waiting for the guy to appraise our roof and I was waiting and waiting and he never showed up. So I was like alright I'll call Coastal Windows then. We called Coastal window and had them come give me an estimate. My wife put online that she was really upset with the first company for not even bothering to show up or let us know. They e-mailed my wife and said your husband canceled and I never canceled. They pretended they were me to take the business. They came over and gave me an estimate on the roof. They way over priced it. When the first company found out, they came over did the roof over and brought all kinds of different information that they were a business company that has changed there names three different times. They go int there and do all this work and then when they do shoddy work they change their name so they can't get sued. It's a very very bad company nobody should ever use them. They did not do any work at all. I signed a commitment to have them do the work and there was a three day cancellation policy. Someone came out to give us the actual quote for the roof and I immediately called them to cancel within my window of opportunity to cancel. They turned around and called the bank to try to find out why I cancelled.

Job went very good. No issues. Workers were on time both days they were here.

Had to call them back before they left after installing the front door. There was a large gap (3/8") between lock-set side of door and the jamb; the lock bolt barely connected by 1/8" into the lock plate! Since then I have noticed a tapering gap at top of door from hinge side (narro w: 1/8") to lock-set side (wide: 3/16"). Door appears to work fine, but this gap makes me wonder about how can the door be square. When I open the door and leave it in a stopped position and let go, the door swings toward the closed position a couple of feet? I have not talked to the vendor as yet due to holidays, but I plan to after holidays. They did a fine job making the trim around the outside of the door look much better than it previously did. I am still confused about what happened to the $999 I paid for the original Angie's List offer. The salesman did not identify it anywhere on the bill, but said that I got a better deal on the windows and that he would apply it to the door install??? The original install date was "before Halloween", but did not occur until "after Thanksgiving". I understand that the windows were back ordered and that the door was in, but the week before the install I called for status and was told that the windows were in and they were waiting for the door? Later he called back to tell me that all were in the warehouse? If you are confused, so was I.

Performed as promised. Competitive prices, good service, professional crew. Everything went smoothly.

Coastal Windows replaced our gutters with leaf guard. The gutters are high quality but the amount of activity this year for gutters delayed installment about 6 weeks. The installation guy was very friendly and professional. The job was completed in two days. The owner called to personally check in once the job was completed and she was extremely friendly and helpful. I will recommend this service to anyone.

I am absolutely delighted with the outstanding product, service and workmanship provided by Coastal Windows. I experienced excellent service and professionalism from beginning to end. As an owner of an older home, I sought a solution to better insulate my home during the long New England winter months and capitalize on the superior energy-efficient products Coastal Windows had to offer. Tommy Ingram, the sales representative at Coastal Windows, made several trips to my home and spent a considerable amount of time and effort to ensure I got what I wanted. I consider myself very particular and quality conscious but I was ultimately happy with his thoughtful presentation of materials and pleasant unpressured approach. The replacement windows, siding and exterior front doors that I purchased exceeded my expectations. The installation crew deserves high recommendations. They were extremely efficient, tidy and particularly careful not to be disruptive. Upon removal of the old siding they immediately informed me of any concerns. Doug Haviland was terrific in managing the installation of the project. He worked hands-on (even in the rain) to ensure details were handled and completed properly. He was very attentive, addressed minor concerns, went over and above what was expected of him and was readily available when necessary. Josh Medugno was instrumental in overseeing that everything went smoothly. He was very meticulous and skilled at handling the finer details of the project and extremely patient in answering my many questions. Bill, Casey and Rita worked conscientiously and diligently. They were very friendly and polite and paid particular attention in keeping the gate closed so my dogs wouldn?t get out. Dave Gregorek, a seasoned installation and product consultant, was very knowledgeable and gracious in explaining things I asked him about. He went out of his way to clean my awning after reattaching it to the house and also cleaned the front of my garage door. I was very impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism of the entire crew. They were one of the best installation crews I?ve had working at my house! A huge THANK YOU to the entire Coastal Windows team! And, a special thanks to Dave and Stephanie Vanderbilt (owners of Coastal Windows) who worked behind the scene to make this an exceptionally pleasant experience for me. My house looks great and I?ve already received many compliments. I look forward to being a bit warmer throughout the coming winters!
