Description of Work: scheduled an estimate with company; estimate came in over $450 of what the Insurance company determined. Could not pay the additional money. Wanted to repair existing gutter, but company said they could not do that.

Description of Work: They hired independent contractors to replace the roof on a small office addition of our house.....and were supposed to include rubber ice dam protection----but this year we had water leaking inside the north windows of that addition. Was surprised to have problems this year after we just had the are re-roofed. Did they actually do what they promised? I have no idea---I did not watch the entire process----so who knows if they skipped a step. | | |

Description of Work: I called them on 4/9/15. They responded very quickly and came to the job site next day. Their estimated price was very very high. To replace 15 feet gutter, the quoted price was ~$1300 meaning I have to pay extra $1100 for this roughly 2 hours job. To me it is just unreasonable.

Description of Work: I don't want to deal with this company. He was very evasive with the questions. He began asking me irrelevant questions about where my husband works. I don't feel comfortable working with this company

Description of Work: Coastal installed 7 double hung windows and 1 picture window in my condo. The installation and the installers were top notch. They were punctual, professional and did everything in a quality way, including the cleaning up. All the issues I had, was in getting the install done. I signed the contract on Oct 4, and was told the install would occur by the middle of November. No one had contacted me by that time. In both cases when I called to inquire about the delay in the install, my salesman had no knowledge of the status of my situation. This is not his fault, but seems to be problem in the way the company is set up. You end up waiting for the owner, David, to call you back, to let you know what is going on. No one contacts you pro actively, or is a contact person, to find out the status of your install. They did respond quickly to my calls, but I expect more when I am paying someone top dollar. My install was done on Dec 15, because I insisted that it had to be done before Christmas week. I wonder how much longer I would have waited, if I hadn't made an issue of it. I would only use them again if I had an iron clad guarantee on the install date.

Description of Work: had eaves on my roof repaired and replaced...the job was well done but the clean up not so much as had expected - you hv to be there to make sure the clean up is done properly after job is completed...we had to pu hugh nails all over the yard for days afterward and some other debris frm the job.

Description of Work: Back in May, my husband and I decided it was time to replace our windows, which were original to our townhouse that was built in the mid-80s. He reached out to different contractors, but had an existing relationship with Coastal. I agreed to meet with the salesperson at our home to talk about our options. When all was said and done, we ultimately purchased the windows from them. | |In August (yes, August), I took a day off from work and met the installers. They were very friendly and moved quickly considering the tight space we provided for them to unload the windows from the truck and do the work. All labels were peeled from the windows and they cleaned them. The next day, I started installing my curtains and noticed that there was a sticker on one of the windows. After looking at it, and doing some research I realized that we were given the wrong windows. | |I called Coastal, and the first person I spoke with said they would look into it and never heard back. I called again the next day, and found out that they had just called my husband about it. Apparently, due to a clerical error at the manufacturer, they entered our windows as double-paned, not triple-paned as we had ordered. They indicated that they submitted a new order to replace the erroneous windows and would contact us as soon as they were available. | |Six weeks later, we got a call that they were ready. | |Now, I understand mistakes happen, but we waited a very long time for these windows and already started paying for windows we did not have through the financing we received. If I wasn't such a pain, I may not have noticed or realized the mistake to begin with. Considering how many people looked at the order, including the installers - someone should have detected this problem early on in the process. This is disappointing to me, and considering the annoyance of having to take yet another day off, we received nothing other than the correct windows that we had originally ordered. In my opinion, we should have gotten something for our trouble. | |Don't get me wrong - the windows are lovely, but for the cost I would expect a lot more on the service side.

Description of Work: They installed a picture window in my living room and a awning window over my kitchen sink. The installer was neat and efficient and was finished in less than 5 hours.

Description of Work: Absoultly the best of the best there is no better if perspective do not use them there missing out on a great job

Description of Work: Siding, windows, doors, and garage doors were replaced! Our house looks great, and we were very happy with just about everything that was done. Most of the workers were on time, professional, hard working and responded positively to questions and concerns.
