GRAVES ELECTRIC

Needed electrical service for a new sunroom. Delayed due to waiting on electrical inspector to finish job. No immediate response from Graves after inspection and needed to contact them to finish the job. After 3 calls, they responded and finished the project. Did a good job with the finished product.

I called Mr. Graves, who sent out an electrician within a reasonably short period of time to assess the work required. I purchased material based on his recommendation and then called Mr. Graves to get an estimate and to schedule the actual work. He never returned my calls. I left messages for him on 2 phone lines for weeks. I spoke to the electric lighting company who had recommended him and asked them to get him to call me. Then I called the electric lighting company to ask for another referral. They apparently got that message to Mr. Graves, because he finally called and promised that he would be in touch the following day after he could look at his schedule. Again he did not call and ignored all attempts to reach him. And throughout approx. 2 months of this, he never provided me with an estimate. I had to find other electricians and go through the whole process from the beginning. This all required shifting and delaying other work and other trades to accommodate the electrical. I have no way of grading the work of Graves Electrical. because no work was performed. Mr. Graves was clearly busy with more important work, but I don't understand why he couldn't simply say that at the very beginning - or any other time along the way. I feel that his approach was rude and I would not recommend him to the average homeowner.
