The Homework Crew Inc

I bought a voucher for housecleaning services from BuyWithMe. On 7/5/11, I scheduled an appointment with the Homework Crew for them to come on 7/9/11. But the next day, I got an email from BuyWithMe, stating that the deal had been cancelled, unused vouchers will no longer be valid, and my money will be refunded. I emailed the Homework Crew that very day, and they claimed that they would offer their services at the same price as the BuyWithMe voucher. So I kept the appointment. The cleaners were supposed to come sometime between 3-5pm today, but they were a no-show. I called at 5:30pm, and the customer rep couldn't provide me any info & instead redirected me to a voicemail. Before she transferred me, I asked her why voicemail, and she didn't give a response. I asked if someone would contact me today, and she said yes. It's now 7pm, no phone call.

In one word: TERRIBLE. It could even be a scam company! I bought a voucher for housecleaning from BuyWithMe and scheduled an appointment by email. The Homework Crew did not show up for the first appointment, which was confirmed by phone and email. When I called to find out where was the cleaning crew and what had happened, the call center overseas had absolutely no idea or explanation as to why the crew had not shown up and could do NOTHING to help except reschedule. I rescheduled the appointment for two days later since I needed to clean the apartment I was vacating. AGAIN, they failed to show up! When I called, I was again unable to speak with someone from the actual company (if the company even exists!). All calls and apparently scheduling emails are routed to an overseas call center that seems to have absolutely NO contact with the Homework Crew. I asked for my money back and was told I had to ask BuyWithMe for it since the only thing the call center can apparently do is apologize and reschedule. Would definitely NOT be calling again, even if lose my money, and will certainly NOT recommend it to anyone! Stay away from this company!
