I'm very disappointed. Now I need 6 inches of ice plowed and expecting more snow tonight

I left a message requesting a quote for redoing our lawn and putting down new loam. Mike returned my call in the next day. He went to my home and prepared a quote. Then he was on top of following up and being very responsive to my questions.

We just moved into our new house and the previous owners had a small patio surrounded by all sorts of shrubs and bushes. It was nice but we have an almost 2 year old and we wanted to install some grass and give her a better place to play. We had 5 different landscapers over to give an estimate on the job and Mow Dog was the best on several fronts. They were more responsive than the other companies, they were helpful in thinking through options for how to expand our space, they didn't immediately tell us we were crazy for trying to grow grass in a shady area, and they quoted a fair price. Overall, I am very satisfied with the outcome (we do in fact have grass) and my experience with Mike. We now have a yard where our daughter can run around and play!! On top of doing nice work, they were very flexible. It took much longer than I expected to find a guy to install a fence and Mow Dog totally rolled with it. I also made several changes to the initial plan as we went along and they were extremely flexible in incorporating the new work. Overall, I'd highly recommend these guys!

AMAZING! We called Mike and he was prompt in getting back to us and came out the same day to check out the job. He promptly e-mailed me an estimate and once we contacted him to proceed, he started the job the following week. Mike and his landscapers arrived early in the morning and started with a fall clean-up getting rid of all the leaves on my lawn. We hadn't talked about removing all the leaves but they did it anyway which was a happy surprise for us! They worked for hours cleaning up and removing dead tree branches, brush, cleaning out heavily wooded areas and removing multiple piles of yard clippings. Mike himself spent a large amount of time cutting down some dead tree's, re-grading a section of the back yard with loom and pulling out an large cluster of wisteria vines along my stone wall. They did a fantastic job we are using them again next week for some Hurricane Sandy lanscapring clean up!!!

Michael(the owner) did a great job to my lawn. We communicated via phone and emails many times first to discuss what the possible solutions are in order to get the best result from my lawn. Then Michael sent me the estimate. He is honest on the price and service. He and his folks worked whole day for me. They came on time, got rid of crab grass and old turf in one section, tilled the area, re-seeded and put the fertilizer and lime. He also aerated my whole lawn, put the fertilizer and did the overseeding. Michael patiently answered my questions via email before and after the service. He also sent me reminder to cut the grass after 3 weeks. The price is very reasonable. I would highly recommend the service. Great job and thank you very much.

I have to warn you, these guys are dirty, rotten scoundrels. I did not like the work they did for several reasons. I told them why, they got paid and asked to leave, end of contract. In particular, their non-resident employees were kicking my child's toy around while she was begging for it, and refused to give it back. They destroyed her toy. I asked them please to give it back and they ignored me. My kid was crying for her toy, there was utterly no reason for it. I went and talked to the police, they were so nasty. I asked them never to come back. Mike came back and did some property damage at night, to make sure I knew he was not impressed with my opinion of his guys' work. Caveat emptor.

Did a very thorough job plowing out the front of our driveway after the second (third?) big snowstorm of the winter. We dug out the cars, and had to pile the snow in the front, since there was nowhere else we could put it. Mowdog managed to find a place for all that snow, and got out of the truck and shoveled what couldn't be plowed. We were pleased and grateful, since it was very hard to get snow removal service that day.

In general, I have no complaints. I feel like maybe it's a little on the pricey side, but not unreasonable. For one snowstorm, it took many many hours for him to clear the snow, but for the other snowstorms, it was fine.

Everything was professionally done. Mike came to do an estimate and I scheduled the work a few weeks later. Mike himself and two helpers came to do the job. The total was slightly higher than the estimate but I didn't mind because the work was well/thoroughly done and it was still a good value. I'll definitely bring them back in the spring.

As always the driveway was done perfectly. This year the sidewalks and porches were also done thoroughly. Well done!

The guy was friendly and nice, very professional. We just went for a different company for the job. He came when he said he was going to. He gave us an estimate promptly.

I have used Mow Dog for both snow removal and yard work. They reliably plow our driveway whenever a snowfall exceeds 3", but they come late at night after they have finished other jobs for the city. I was not as pleased with their work on our yard. They did not use the kind of mulch we requested and they pulled some ornamental plants that they thought were weeds. They did arrive on time and did not overcharge.

Michael is very responsive, this is the second time he's made an effort to come on short notice for us (see our other review for landscaping!!). Very punctual, nice, no nonsense, realistic, and flexible. Hard working team of three came and they were done quickly for a very good hourly rate. Will definitely use again for our landscaping, leaf removal, or other yard/property needs!

Michael was very prompt and responsive, and was able to do the job quickly as we are selling our home. We trusted his ability to decide what would look good, and it looked beautiful! Our realtor said we improved our curb appeal exponentially.

Michael showed up to meet me when he said, called before he came (as requested), and the work they did was better than I could ever do!

It took several attempts to secure the revised quote and schedule the work. Once we agreed that the work would proceed we were scheduled and MowDog kept to the schedule and came in at a price lower than the estimate. Also, Michael uses and reads email!

They were hard to reach, I had to leave a couple of messages.

Despite the fact that Mow Dog could not help me, they still returned my inquiry call to let me know.

I wasn't thrilled that he showed up without arranging a time in advance. He seemed professional and nice, but his prices were really high ($50 for a a few inches of snow on a small property and up to $200+ for a big storm). I hired someone A LOT more reasonably priced.

Came 3 times during the storm to keep our driveway clear, including helping clean off the cars and asking us to move them to make sure the entire driveway could be cleared.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MOW-DOG'S SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES. THEY ARE VERY PROMPT AND I HAVE NEVER HAD TO CALL THEM. SNOW HAS BEEN REMOVED BEFORE I WAS OUT THE DOOR TO GO TO WORK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
