Early last summer, I left multiple messages asking for them to call me about a landscaping project that I wanted to have done. They did not call back, but Brendan did stop by unannounced. Luckily I was home so I walked the property with him discussing what we would like done. He said that he would have his brother contact me about pricing. But this never happened. I left more messages with no response. About 6 weeks later, I ran into Brendan in town and reminded him of our visit & conversation. He said that he had been hurt but would get back to me soon. I inquired if they had too many customers and did not want our business. He assured me that they would take me on as a new client. I never heard from him again.

Kelly Bros. did a nice job of trimming the hedges and did so within a week or so of our phone call. My gripe is that it took a few phone calls to get a response from them to schedule service and I asked them to trim a particular branch that hangs over our power line. They failed to cut the branch and didn't respond to calls. I attribute the branch miscue as a lack of communication on their end, but they really are not very responsive to customer phone calls, which is concerning. I won't use again.

I try to use local providers where possible, and I attempted to reach Brendan about once a week for about six weeks before giving up. This repeated failure to return phone calls does not meet any reasonable standard of professional conduct, in my view.

Family members have been using the Kelly Brothers' services since the owners were teenagers. Their work is exceptional and they are completely trusted to do great work. If you intend to have a yearly contract, please be careful to watch for the postcard that comes in the mail to confirm your intent to continue services. Otherwise, they assume you don't wish to continue services. Also, be aware that they may not return calls promptly but you can assume they heard the call and honor your requests within a week or 10 days.

We've used the Kellys for year round lawn care services and they've been great. From Spring cleanup and mulching to seeding the lawn, to summer mowings and Fall leaf collection. They also do our driveway plowing and take each task with care and with an eye to doing the best job possible at a fair price. They are also quite skilled at lawn related construction projects and built a retaining wall for us. There are a lot of landscapers to choose from but the Kelly Brothers are the best.

I paid 3/4 of the agreed upon amount since that was the amount of work that was done. The work that was done was good, but they didn't do all we agreed to.

They didn't return calls, but when they came out, they got the job done quickly. Efficiency, very good.

I have a small lot but they are just as responsive to me as they are to the big guy. They are a family run business that is very close knit and they do just a great job.

THEY ARE GOOD. I'D RECOMMEND THEM.
