CAMBRIDGE BARK AND LOAM INC

This company does not make a strong first impression. The first woman I spoke with was incredibly rude and unable to answer my questions regarding the mulch I was also interested in. I continued to shop around with the intent of not giving them my business but found they were one of few contractors in my area offering the stone we needed. I wound up ordering the mulch through another company and the stone through Cambridge Bark and Loam. I was relieved to speak with a more pleasant sales woman when I called back. The day of the delivery they called ahead to confirm and the woman who delivered was very considerate of our shared driveway and flower bed nearby. In the end we were please with the quality and price of the stone.

The good things I can say is that they had very quick turnaround and their price was competitive. However, what was delivered was dirt full of trash and even pieces of broken glass. Not just one or two pieces, I mean every 2-3 square feet you can still find them coming out of the soil. It was completely unsuitable as loam for a vegetable garden, which I had specifically told the woman on the phone was what I needed it for. It was delivered while I was at work, so I guess the lesson here is always be there to check what you're getting before you let them empty the truck.

BEST MULCH I HAVE SEEN. THEY WERE VERY SKILLED AND WORKED FAST AND ACCURATELY.
