Audio Video Connection

We scheduled Audio Video to do the job and then scheduled Comcast to do their install a few days later. The schedule was such that we would be away on a long planned trip when they would install, we told Misha at Audio Video that we would be away and we made arrangements for our daughter to meet him to get access for the installation.. 4 days before the scheduled date our daughter contacted them to reconfirm the appointment. At that time Misha told her he required payment in full by check on the day of the install. HE KNEW WE WOULD BE AWAY AND HE NEVER TOLD US THIS! Had he told us we would have written a check for her, but as it is that’s impossible. I called Audio Visual just now to try to make arrangements. I told him we couldn’t give him a check or have our daughter do that. I started to ask for his address so we could mail it to him or make other arrangements and he angrily told me he’d had customers not pay in the past, he had to have a check in the spot and then HE JUST HUNG UP ON ME! Now I can’t get someone else to do it before Comcast is scheduled, so I have to cancel them and so the job won’t get done at all. This is outrageous. I would advise all Angie’s List subscribers DON’T HIRE AUDIO VIDEO. They should have disclosed this up front when I met with him at the property to get make the estimate. He knew exactly when we would leave, he knew were making arrangements with our daughter and was given her contact information. Pulling this 4 days before the scheduled job puts us in a terrible situation and he knew this. It’s so unprofessional.

I contacted Misha at Audio Video Connection to assist us with installation of a Samsung "Frame" television. We had researched and chosen this specific television for its discreet appearance (artwork on screen, no cables) when it is not on. Based on our research, we knew professional planning and installation would be needed. Initially we attempted the planning and installation with a big box electronics store. Our electrician and contractor met with a representative for wiring requirements and placement. When the installation crew from the same big box store arrived, they informed us that they could not install the television as planned. This was due to the placement of the wiring/connection and told us that we had gotten incorrect advice from their fellow employees. After several attempts to resolve this situation with the big box store, I realized it was a losing battle. I explained the situation to Misha and set up an appointment so he could assess the situation. He determined that, even though the wiring configuration was not ideal, he should be able to make the system work without re-wiring. Misha and his assistant came promptly at the time of installation appointment and did an excellent job with the installation and left the work area clean. He also showed me how to use the system and to call him if I had further questions. At one point he commented "You tried to do the right thing. You tried to use the same outfit for planning and installation." My only regret is not contacting Misha and Audio Video Connect from the beginning!

We recently renovated the area where a Samsung "Frame" TV was to be installed. We had an in-home consultation from the big box retailer prior to renovation regarding placement of placement of power and cable connections. Once the rehab was completed the installers from the same big box retailer told us power and cable connection placement was incorrect and a proper (flush to the wall) installation would not be possible. Ugh! I contacted Misha at Audio Video Connection to see if he could help us correct the situation and install the television. He understood the description of the problem and suggested a visit to make an accurate assessment of what would be required. He was flexible in scheduling the appointment (very much appreciated!) and agreed to meet the following evening. Misha arrived when expected and quickly determined that he would be able to perform the installation. I had anticipated needing to have additional wiring, plastering and painting done. Luckily, Misha determined that would not be needed. He would be able to mount the television flush against the wall, which is the whole point of the Samsung Frame, by creating a compartment for the components (cable connection, power, etc.) in the wall behind the television. We were able to schedule the installation for a few days later. Misha and his assistant were very professional, completed the work as anticipated, explained how to use the system and left no mess. I would highly recommend Audio Video Connection and Misha for any of the services they provide. My only regret is that I did not contact him first!

I contacted Misha to get a quote on installing an outdoor TV. He came to my residence during non-business hours to scope the project. It involved mounting the TV and running electrical and cable to it. Due to the location there were some complexities with running the cable. Misha presented me with several options and offered the pros the cons of each. He served as a true consultant on the project which was very helpful as prior providers I contacted did not appear to be experienced on this type of install and I had several questions. After completing the install Misha walked me through the setup and use of the TV. The install came out flawless and I would not hesitate to use him again.

It went very well and took about 8-10 hours. The pre-existing speakers which were in the walls took a little time to connect but now they all work fine. Misha is very responsive with email and can also followed up after installation to fix a couple of technical problems remotely. We are very happy with the system.

We just moved to this area and are always looking for good referrals to do our work. We were so impressed with all the work performed. So tidy, very professional , punctual. The price quoted for the job was very reasonable and the final bill was exactly what the initial quote was I would strongly recommend this Company to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Misha was awesome! He was responsive, polite, professional and was fairly priced. He came right out to give me an estimate. If I could give Misha an A+ I would do it! I contacted him on Thursday night and he was available to come to my home today, the Saturday before Christmas, at 9:00 a.m. He knew exactly what he was doing and did the set-up within one hour. He also reviewed all of the remote controls with me so that I know what I am doing -- it is complex! Misha is friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him to anyone needing assistance in setting up their a/v systems.

Misha came to our house to install a Control4 system which included 4 rooms with TV's, music, thermostats, and cameras. The system works great, and we are very happy. Using our phones and iPads to control the system is awesome. It is so convenient to use, and if there are ever any issues, Misha is easy to access and responds quickly. Cameras looks so sharp, we also have remote access with playback. Our wifi was also improved by Misha. The speed is much better now. We would definitely recommend Audio Video Connection to anyone who wants to simplify their audio video devices in their house/business and have greater control over everything.

It went perfect! The service and expertise was exceptional. The installer went beyond normal service when some of my equipment had issues and needed to be replaced, which required extra work. I found his advice to be sincere, honest and accurate. His work ethics were superior. He would work tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect, even when unusual and time-consuming problems occurred. He was never late and always texted to let me know of his arrival. The system he recommended and installed has worked beautifully since the day he left. It also is far superior to what I had envisioned. It is rare to get this level of expertise and care, truly exceptional.

I had called because I have zero knowledge of how to put my system together. searched audio and video connection up and they were there, called up the company, the guy that owns the company (Can't remember the name) picked up phone, totally nice and they were prompt to help and very nice. Didn't take them long to finish my audio video system, totally knows what they are doing and very professional.very happy with my end product, I can do everything with my remote. Love it, thanks!
