The installation was on time and they did everything they said they would do. They called and rechecked and the crew was great. They were very good about helping me; I was not very knowledgeable and my consultant was very good, thorough and explained everything to me. She helped me time my purchase to coincide with our state's tax free holiday so I saved money. There were no issues so I highly recommend them. They put down new padding and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. The installers were nice, friendly and informative about what they were doing. I thought their pricing was excellent.
Description of Work: I bought carpet from The Home Depot Tool Rental and had them install it. I did stairwells, two bedrooms and a hallway. They also are doing a kitchen floor. They tore out my old carpet and disposed of it.

Their salesman was real smooth and he showed us three different levels with three different prices. We took the median one that had a firm backing. He told us that there would be at least 6-8 men out here with a foreman. They told us that it would take about 8-9 days to finish the job and that they?d call 2 or 3 times during that week to tell us when the stuff was coming and when the people would be on the job. They didn?t call me. One guy just came out a week later, knocked on my door at 7 o? clock in the morning and asked me where he should drop the stuff off. He dropped it off in my driveway. The next day 2 Russian boys aged about 23 years old came out to do the job. One of them could barely speak English while the other one couldn?t. They sent a girl out who claimed to be the foreman and she said that she could spare only 15-20 minutes to oversee the job. They were almost done after working for about a day and a half. They didn?t put foam in some places. That would have cost us our warranty if we had a fire. The color that I had picked out of the book initially was not the same as the siding that they sent us. They didn?t take the bad siding down on one whole wall. We had to fight for every little thing with them. One of the Russian boys pointed out that I had carpenter ants and termites underneath there. Home Depot told me that it was none of their business what was underneath my siding. If I had sealed them in without knowing, my house would have lasted only about a year. We followed them for 5 months. My wife even went on TV on one of the consumer shows to talk about them. The only reason they settled things with me was because 5 of my brother?s children are lawyers. I would not use them again.
Description of Work: I used Home Depot to put siding on our house.

Home Depot messed this project up from the beginning. I want to make it clear that the installer was fine. This was not his fault at all. The doors came warped and I had them re-order them. They forgot to do the order and then when they finally did, the doors were wrong. I had to have them ordered again and the sales lady was rude to me. It took a very long time for the doors to be installed.
Description of Work: I purchased 4 interior doors here and had them install them.
