Mr. Fence

They were great from beginning to end. They arrived on time to provide the quote. They followed up with a phone call to see if I had any questions. It was that level of service that had me choosing them. When I was scheduling the work to be done they said it may be about a month. I simply asked that they put me in as soon as possible as we had a puppy coming and wanted the yard safe for him, they were able to do it the next weekend. I am very happy.

Job was done quick on time and for quoted amount even though they ran into more rocks than expected. 2 years later fence is in great condition with no problems

I was very pleased with the installation. It did take a little longer than I had anticipated but that was because a special gate had to be ordered. Mr. Fence did communicate with me often so that i would know what was going on. Very pleased and would use again.

I had an excellent experience with Mr. Fence (MF). After contacting them, a rep came out to survey the damage from a tree falling on my chain link fence. He worked up an estimate on the spot. As the tree was still on the fence at the time of the survey, he could not be certain of the extent of the damage. He explained that the cost may be less if some of the fence components could be reused. Quite honestly, I was expecting the final cost to be about what was quoted. I assumed the comment about a reduced final cost to be salesmanship since I did not agree to do the work at that time. Not long after that visit, I got a call from MF's office to make sure that I had received my estimate which was nice. After the tree was removed from the fence, I contacted MF to schedule the work. The workers arrived on the assigned day and quickly completed the repair which left the fence as good as new. The most pleasant surprise was that the final cost was, in fact, almost half of what was quoted. I would definitely contact MF for any future fence work.

( We requested this so that our dog would quit escaping our back yard.) The hinged portion of the trim were required due to the slope of our driveway, to prevent the gate from scraping the pavement. They were very professional, and had a great sense for fabricating the solution to our problem. My call was answered promptly, the people were professional and friendly, and the tech came out that same afternoon to take a look at the problem. I was surprised that he began working on it immediately. The next day, two other contractors came out and dug/set the posts for the gate, and told me they would build it in the shop and bring it out the next day, which they did. Everything turned out great! The color matched , the gate operated beautifully, and the hinged trim at the bottom of the gates was professionally planned, and well constructed. And, the price was reasonable. We would recommend MR. FENCE , of Bellingham, to everyone, and definately call them again if needed

From the quote provided by the sales rep to the installation by the service guy, Mr. Fence personnel were very professional, informative, pleasant to deal with, and performed the work beyond my expectations. My neighbors commented on how straight the fence was installed. In my area we have a lot of rocks; the guy who installed the fence knew what to do and worked to install the entire fence in one day.

They were very helpful with that. Overall it looks great and we were very pleased with it. They did a good job but we had some trouble getting estimates back from them and it took quite a long while for them to give the estimates. We first contacted them in April and it took several weeks to get the estimates and change the specifications of the job. They weren't the cheapest but we liked the way they were going to handle the job and the person who came to do the estimate was very nice and very apologetic for the delay in getting back to us. The jobs go in as they are approved and because of the delay he said he would talk to the scheduler because we’ve waited so long to get our estimate back. He managed to set us up earlier, which was good. They actually came a bit sooner than they had said. We were pleased in the end. They did good work and it was an awkward job. There was that period when it was really difficult to get hold of them. There were companies that were cheaper. They did come when they said they would come.

Mr. Fence personnel worked with us to get the best layout, choose best material for the fence. When they started to install the fence based on the initial plan as opposed to the final plan they stopped, filled in post holes, and relayed out the plan. They worked hard, finished on time.

I called Mr. Fence and gave them an idea of the work that I wanted them to do. They scheduled a person to come out to view the job. I asked to be present for this. They said that the person normally doesn't need a homeowner present for this type of job. I wanted to be there so that I could point out the low post and to ask a few questions about how they go about doing some of their work. A few days later a person came to review the job. He called prior to his arrival so I was able to head down to the site and meet with him. I was able to show him some specific issues and ask him some questions. Then he went about reviewing the work so that he could create an estimate. I left him to do this alone. A few days later I received an estimate in the mail. The price was just right. I sent them a deposit and called them to approve the job and to schedule it. Their schedule was booked a few weeks in advance but they asked if it would be okay if they came sooner if an opening arose. I said yes. They came the next week and performed the repairs while I was away. I looked them over the next morning. They had missed replacing one rail, they hadn't raised the low post, and they had left a few small trimmed pieces (hand-sized) from the new rails scattered on the ground near each repair. I contacted them about about these issues. I got a call back from a supervisor within half an hour. They adjusted my bill slightly because of the oversight. They came out the next day and remedied all of the issues.

The gentleman they sent out to do the quote came on time, was friendly, and informative. We had several different ideas on how much we wanted to do (depending on final pricing) and we we're sure which options we wanted so he wrote up the quote in such a way that the different options and sections were all priced out separatly. Actually the guy came with a laptop so he left us a nicely printed quote in hand when he left. The commuication from the main office was tad lacking during the payment and scheduling part of the interaction but they were not bad to work with I just felt it could have been better. I think their quoting system is partly to blame where the guys in the field doing the quotes don't upload their stuff every night so it took a few days for them to actually see the quote I had in their home office system. The day the work was to be performed the guys showed up on time, worked diligently, kept things nice and clean, and they had all the work done in about a day and half. We made a last minute change a few days before the install actually happened where we wanted to add a gate- it was not problem and they didn't beat us up with any change order fees. We have another section we'd like to do in six months to a year when we save up for it and we plan to go through them again.

I was very pleased with the work done by Mr. Fence. The estimate was accurate, the work was completed to my satisfaction, and they were on time both for the estimate and the actual work. I highly recommend them.

The first day they showed up on time and it took them 5 days to do our entire yard. On the third day the first guy called out sick so we lost a day of work there - the next day they sent a new crew.

They did a great job and had a great price. Their communication was excellent. If I need them, I will use them in the future.

The estimator was quick and efficient (after taking measurements went out in his truck and did the drawing and estimating in his truck), delivery was as promised and the installer (who came by himself on a Saturday) was amazing. They told you how to save $$ (they put some metal pipes near posts that were going but not quite gone) and were willing to come back to do a piece we didn't want to have done now (b/c we're doind some construction work and were afraid of the gate getting ruined in the process). In the past my husband has ordered parts from them that he put in and they have no problem with that. They are a hardworking, honest, no nonsense company. You feel like you got a fair deal. Good guys.

they took down my old wood fence and took it away and put up vinyl fencing on the side of my house the guy was great

They are pretty decent. They did tremendous work. There had been a mistake when they had a masonry come out. They did the work and they were exemplary in coming back to fix what had not been completed properly.

The fence is beautiful. All the neighbors told me that it looks nice. I wasn’t here when they installed it. My wife said that they were really nice. They were easy to talk to. They came on time. They got the work done quickly and quietly. They were very competitive on price. I could do a six month financing with them without any interest. I would use them in the future.

They are very good. We were very pleased with them. It was a huge fence. He did a wonderful job. It's haven't given any problem till now. His price was good and very fair. He was very nice and professional. It was actually one person who did it. The owner came first for the estimate and he was very nice. He sent a person who does particularly that type of fence. He came out and did a really wonderful job. Sometimes you can see the fences put by others falling over. The fence this guy put up is very firm and we've had no trouble with it. This fence is put all along the side to the corner. It's a very long fence. We have to have the back done and we will call him again. I have absolutely no complaints against them.

Ed was very meticulous about choosing the right style of fence that would 1. complement the style of our home 2. provide privacy for our pool 3. be suitable to installation on the slope of our land. Ed also made certain that I understood that the fence would not be level since it would follow the grade of our yard. He spent alot of time explaining the details and was very thoughtful about the placement and swing of the gates. He was knowledgeable about the rules regarding fences in my town. Dan was honest and communicated well about the scheduling of the job. Jimmy and Chris did a great job installing the majority of the fence. We reviewed the placement of the fence regarding the lot line and the trees close to the line. It was refreshing to come home from work and see that the fence was installed exactly as was expected. Their workmanship was excellent. The crew that finished the last section of fence also did an excellent job. I did not meet them personally, but was confident that they would do a good job and I wasn't disappointed. Overall, it was a great experience and the fence looks better than I had imagined. We have received many compliments on the fence, including some from our other contractors.

The sales guy was very informative, but low pressure. I am a sales guy myself, so I like to be sold. He did a great job, followed up to see if I had any questions and overall made the experience very easy. Quick installation, good quality and very happy overall.

They were good. They even gave us a lesser price than the other company, but we were going to go with the other company because my husband likes the guy. The other company was going to do more work for us than Mr Fence. They were going to remove the existing fence and tie away all the stuff that Mr. Fence wanted us to do. Mr Fence didn’t have the exact fence we wanted. They were going to get us something similar to it. We were trying to match a fence in the front of the house. It is a relatively new fence pretty much out on the market, but they said they didn’t have it and they were trying to match it whereas the other company did match it exactly, tied away the old fence, and fixed everything up for us. The people from Mr Fence were nice. I just didn’t think that their product was as good. In fact, we have a neighbor who used Mr Fence. I have seen their show building and they do have some nice things, but the fence that my neighbor has is one of those chain link fences and it just looks like a jail. I just kind of shied away from Mr Fence. He was the last estimate we got. They were okay. I don’t think they were the most knowledgeable.

Mr. Fence was punctual, neat, and the work was completed on time.

The job went great. The were methodical about the job, not rushed, and they did quality work. They were easy to talk to and let us know what was going on during the project. We are very happy with the job and would definitely reccomend them.

After getting several estimates, I went with Mr Fence based off reviews here. Price was not the cheapest, but not far off, and reviews pushed it over. Estimate was given in June. Was told at that point it would be ~ 3 weeks from commit date until work could begin. Contacted them 3 weeks later to accept bid. Was told then that it would be 4-5 weeks until work could begin. I came back from a vacation 1.5 weeks later to find DigSafe marking up my yard. They called the next day saying they could start then. A little more advance notice would be good as I could just have easily been on vacation that week given the timeframe I was given when I accepted the bid. The installation went slower than I would have predicted - but once they started they communicated clearly when they would complete. Took 3.5 days when was originally told 2 days. Had some neighbor issues with a border (one pole location) which I was first told they could change in under 1 hour, but then was told later that it was a half day and several hundred additional dollars. I am in negotiations with neighbor if they can live with it. Mr Fence also hung the gate facing the wrong way (different neighbor who OK with this so didn't get it corrected). Fence itself looks fantastic and is set in very well. I expect it to last a long time. Basic lesson learned... existing fences do *not* mark the border of the property. In my case, property went 3 feet further back, and then was 3 feet further in on one side. Previous owner had put up the fence in the wrong spot, and I did not know otherwise.

I was very happy with the overall service. The boundry had a lot of trees and yard waste that the crew cleared in order to install the fence. The first time around they fell short on one side but promptly came back the next day (aftet I called and mentioned the error) and put up the remaining portion. However they curved the fence a little more than necessary (due to a big tree in the way) and when I expressed some hesitation Dan the sales guy sent his crew back again to fix the problem. They used a post thicker than what is sold at home depot and each post was put in 2.5 ft below the ground.
