I cannot say enough great things about our experience!! We have extensive water damage on 3 floors, a HUGE mess! Called them & they sent Charlie within 2 hours. He told me it was going to be a huge undertaking from the start & reassured me they would start right away without needing a deposit or down payment & they would deal with the ins. co. They were there with blowers and dehumidifiers by the end of the day. We had an independent adjuster come and it's a blessing. Matt is dealing with all the issues AND the ins. co. We've only dealt with an ins. co once in past and got ripped off. Matt arranged housing (hotel, etc) while we rebuild. Mark, the proj. manager from J.B. Day, and his whole crew was amazing. had us fully packed and moved out, & the house demoed in 3 days. Pleasant, hard working, safe and thorough. totally cleaned it all. Told us what to expect the whole way. Amazing job on incredible mess. They come back at the end to move us back in! Definitely will use them again!!!!

I needed immediate service due to a sewage backup which impacted my entire downstairs den. Within a very short time, there was a gentleman who inspected the affected area and arranged for a crew to begin necessary steps to help restore the damage. They were incredible! Tim provided detailed information regarding scope of work and steps to be taken relative to insurance, etc. He was amazing in how patient yet detailed he was with me, a novice without a clue as to how to proceed. The crew consisted of 3 men who worked diligently and expertly.

They get one star for how quickly they responded to our phone call. Had a leak and they were able to come the next day. However, it took 2 weeks and constant emailing and phone calls (on our end) to get an estimate for the work they did and for future work. Outrageous doesn't even begin to describe their pricing. The prices were so outrageous, I'm wondering if this company is legit. Wanted to charge us 14K for a clean up of a 10 foot by 9 foot room and that DID NOT INCLUDE the rebuild. Avoid the headache and go with another company.

We had an independent insurance adjuster and our insurance company meet to go over necessary work for our water damage due to ice dams from the prior year. So we already knew what work had to be completed and what the insurance company was going to pay for. Well the contact from Jay Brian Day came out and looked at the insurance report and then took a whole bunch of pictures. The work was supposed to be remediation work, for example...tearing out damaged sheet rock, inspecting the insulation and then repairing it all. When we got the quote back from them, it only had the initial tear down work, and no mention of the rebuilding piece. The quote was significantly higher than what the insurance agency was willing to pay for. In my opinion, they were totally trying to scam and scare us into thinking we had a huge mold problem due to the moisture. He even said we were going to have to leave our house for a period of at least a week for the demo work. Then it was explained that they would find us a contractor that could do all of the build out work. I am actually laughing as I write this, as it was a scam all along. I would never, ever call them again.

They were extremely reactive to the water damage and mold mitigation. The mitigation consultation and work to perform such was very prompt and delivered as promised. Thorough communication and reasonably priced. However, the reconstruction phase was much more frustrating and time consuming. The communication was not as good as separate managers were utilized for the different phases of mitigation versus reconstruction. I had to constantly remind the vendor of promised dates for work crews as sometimes they would be a no show as a result of being overbooked.

Everything looks wonderful. For 10 year old rugs, with 5 boys, they really look great. At this point, we know we can't get rid of every stain, but this is such an improvement and we know the rugs are clean for the boys to play on.

They came to my home when I had water damage and ice dams on the roof. They made me sign a contract to do the work. They did not show up to do the work, and when called, they said they were too busy, maybe tomorrow or the next day. They never came and never called to cancel. When I got them on the phone, they told me they had bigger jobs to do. I posted this review last winter and it is not on the site so I am re-posting it, as people should know they are unscrupulous.

J. Brian Day came out as promised and did the work promptly

They were very professional and gave the cost up front. They cleaning was done as expected.

I don't remember what I paid due to the length of time that has past. I do know that I will use them in the future for carpet cleaning.

Owner B.D. would not perform/offer professional mold remediation unless his company do actual interior walls & ceiling teardown. I cannot use my own contractors.:-(

I have to give them credit. They came out to my location and put some time in. There just wasn't any reason to move forward on that. They knew what they were doing.

They were fabulous! It was very stressful, and I had no idea how to work with the insurance company etc, but they walked me through everything step by step and they are very attentive to every detail.

They are very nice. I have only used them once. They were great they came on time. The technician they sent seemed to know what he was doing. He was very quick and efficient and asked some questions and did the job. Then he left. No problems at all. I am probably going to have them come back over the summer and do some other rooms.

How unethical and unscrupulous. I understand they do not have to take what they do not want to do, however, to have me sign a contract and lock me in to using them and tie me up and then they aren't available for me??? Danger here...stay away

Butch called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He was prompt, pleasant and professional. He really wanted to make sure that I was happy with the results. He did an awesome job. This is the 2nd time I have used J. Brian day, both times with Butch doing the cleaning. I will use this company for any future needs.

Our basement was flooded due to a fail in equipment....we used the North Attleboro offices.The job was completed well, but the cost is high. If you're in a time crunch and need flooding cleaned up, and have the money, I would recommend them.

The guy was very knowledgable and it seemed like the company would do a good job. But then they never submitted a quote to the insurance company. I called them twice being told a quote would be submitted but none was sent. If they were too busy to the job all he had to do was say so.

The inspector was professional, punctual and did not try to push services that I did not need. The results of his inspection showed that the mold was on the surface and no additional remediation was needed by J. Brian Day.

He was very pleasant, thorough and professional. However, it took him one week to provide the estimate, which was higher than an estimate I received from another qualified company. I am currently pursuing an estimate from one more company before I make my final choice.

Actually it didn't go very well. We rescheduled a bunch of times. There was a rain storm, we had a week of rain storms so they were busy. The appointments did not work out. We had to reschedule a few times, they were not very good about calling me before that. In the end all I got was a quote. I rest didn't work for me.

Unfortunately our older, convoluted duct system was beyond their capabilities for HVAC cleaning. The technicians completely inspected the system and fully explained how it worked and what was needed. They were especially helpful in providing us with the knowledge we needed to evaluate another prospective cleaning service. We were very impressed with their professionalism and concern for our needs.
