Terrible experience with these guys. They have rescheduled several times and now they stopped communicating with me. I purchased the deal on Sep 19, 2016 and it is Nov 17, 2016 and the work is still not done. So I am requesting a refund and giving them a well-deserved F.

I bought an Angie's deal for sealcoating my driveway. Took some co-ordinating and back and forth before we could find a day that worked for them, for me and for the weather. I wasn't home when the work was done which made me a bit nervous, but they did an excellent job, neat, clean and looks great. Very happy.

Went well. Willing came back and re-did driveway as it rained the night service was performed.

It was good. I only gave them a B because they sprayed some of their seal coat on my wall.

Finished product was good, however, there was a complete lack of communication from the company. They were supposed to arrive a week earlier, but canceled due to impending rain (but never told me). They were supposed to give 24hr notice of the new date, but just showed up unannounced.

It took a while for them to get to us because the response to said deal was more than they expected, which is a good thing for them! They always returned phone calls, came when they said they would, and did a very nice job. My driveway looks great.

They did not patch the holes evenly. There is a pond of water when rain. Left the filler can in my yard. Did even come to pick it up after call them.

Al Gomes promptly responded. Fully explained the recommendations. Communications were very good. He understood my needs and the situation with the original work. Considering the over-charge of original work, I was very pleased with Al's price, And he included sealcoating the main driveway (short, one lane) which had needed it. For the extension driveway, Al's team prepared area, dug deeper, asphalt binder applied with asphalt finish top. It is solid. Everything was professional and went smoothly. I am very pleased and would easily hire again and recommend him.

I bought the driveway sealcoating deal in Angie's List. The work was scoped, quoted and performed without confirmation of or agreement on the scope of work or schedule. No consideration was given to the schedule submitted through the Angie's List process. I still have additional work to complete.

Service was very good. They arrived and cleared the driveway of leaves and all grass growing through and cleared the edges along the driveway and walkway. Sealed all the cracks (which there were numerous) and reallocated. Looks great.

The two gentlemen that did my driveway did an excellent job. They were very professional and I would hire them again.

Not well!!!! First we just purchased our home and want to make it look really nice. We scheduled the service using the online calendar for the following Wed, Thurs and Friday which were marked as open days on the calendar. The vendor didn't contact me until after the Wed had passed to let me know he did not availablility to come out and measure the driveway until the following Friday which was fine. Once he measured he then called to tell me what the total price was once again that was fine. When it came to scheduling the work I specifically asked for the work to be done when it wouldn't be raining hard which the forecast for the following Tuesday and Wednesday was predicted. He told me he agreed and it definitely would not be Tuesday but possibly Wed depending on the weather. Lo and behold I received a VM on Tuesday around noon and yes it had rained a lot, that he was at my house and doing the job! I called back as soon as I could being that I was at work and asked why he was doing the work on a day when we agreed not to? I was told it's not raining here now and it will be fine. Just let it sit for 24 hours and it will be cured and you can drive on it. I was not happy about the change and expressed my opinion that I hoped it would dry well. Once again I was reassured that 24 hrs was all it would take. We parked our car on the street that night and then drove to work the following day. The next day it also rained another reason why I requested the work to be done after these 2 days. When I got home I noticed a collection of water in front of the garage and since I just bought the home and don't know where water collects on the driveway I drove on the driveway. Once again remembering the professional telling me all it needed was 24 hrs. It was at least 28 hrs since I believe they had finished the job. Once I pulled into the garage I noticed the driveway was not cured in that area and the seal didn't hold and I also pulled sealcoat into my garage on my tire. This made me very upset since I had trusted the professionals advice about his work. I immediately called him to express my unhappiness which he tried to place the blame on me for driving on it. I am not a driveway seal coater and thus I had listened to his instructions! He said he would come out and repair the driveway the next week. The week is now over and I haven't heard anything and no one has repaired anything.

Setting up the appt was easy and the job was completed on time. The driveway looks like new.

Discovery was professional and on time. The work was done in a quality manner. The product used was carefully applied and did not spill over onto nearby surfaces. I would highly recommend this service provider.

We had some scheduling hiccups. Although some were due to bad weather, some were due to having to ask the same question multiple times via email, which was a bit frustrating at times. I was also not happy to see some results from the work, such as a lot of dirt and debris blown into my garage from the driveway cleaning (could this have been sealed?), and the mulch bin from the driveway not moved where I asked it to go (I even provided a picture of the spot). However, the ultimate results are good, and I guess that's what counts the most. My neighbor commented that the workers worked very hard. My driveway and sidewalk is in much better shape, and for a reasonable price, so I would definitely use this company again and would recommend them, as it was solid overall.

Although the schedule has been changed multiple times due to the nature of the work, Al's team has done a very good job in rescheduling and got the job done with little effort from me. I like the flexibility of the scheduling and now my driveway is looking great. BTW. I did not meet anyone from Discovery Construction Group in person. All communications were through emails and text. I will definitely hire them again.

On time, professional and the job was great!

The company showed up on the day that they told me that they were going to start the work and very conscientiously started working to repair the damage that was done. All the workers that showed up to complete the job were very professional and we're very respectful. They worked diligently throughout the morning on the job and when complete they came and notified me and my girlfriend and we inspected the job and it was completed to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this company.

What can I say about a crew that does what it promises in a timely fashion and without any fuss? I WILL use them again in the future because it is not easy to find a company that has this kind of organization.
