They worked all day and it came nice

Quality work. Even with the draught I had some bad luck and was rained out twice but after second time they make every effort to get me rescheduled as soon as possible and got the job done. I had some serious cracks and they did a really nice job.

I just had my drive repaved after fifty five years. It was crumbling badly and was in dire need. They just seemed to have a much more professional attitude from the first first phone call on down the line. From the Salesman who showed up and took all the measurements to the woman who called with my quote information to the schedulers, to the prep crew, to the paving crew... ALL Professionals! Totally amazing experience - I haven't felt this good about spending money in a long time... come to think of it, who can even say that? There's a positive review for you!

Excellent experience. Calls were always returned promptly. Everyone was courteous. Appointments were kept and on time. Most important is that it works as we hoped it would. Water now runs off to one side and away from the house.

I wrote an earlier review for Asphalt Engineering about a bad experience. I am now writing about how great they were to make things right. Erin in the office was fantastic. She was able to get a hold of me and make things right. The team came out when they were scheduled and did a great job on the driveway. I want to Thank Asphalt engineering for standing behind their name and making things right with their customers. In this day a lot of companies will not do that.

Estimator that came out was great. Did very detailed takeoff, proposal was the must comprehensive & detailed of all five received. Everyone I had contact with from office staff that set up aspt, coordinated & scheduled work to the prep crew & paving crew were all extremely courteous & professional. Have already recommended them to friend.

The everyone at Asphalt Engineering was great. The estimate was by far the most transparent and even though they were a couple hundred dollars more than a couple other estimates the transparency of the quote really made the difference. I knew exactly what they were doing and the design of the final product. The crews were efficient and professional. They really have each stage down to a science. I had a couple questions after the job was done and couldn't believe when the owner got on the phone to answer them directly! Great job and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their drive way replaced.

It went extremely smooth. The crew arrived at the time that was set up. They were hard working, efficient, cleaned up and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this company.

Worst experience I have ever had with a business. It was a waste of money and now I have to have another company take out my driveway and redo the job.

The driveway prep crew arrived at 7:00 AM and departed at 9:00 AM with the driveway ready for paving. The paving crew arrived at 1:15 PM installed and compacted the gravel base laid and compacted the asphalt paving and left the site at 3:15 PM with the job complete and the site in first class order. It was a pleasure to watch professional crews at work.

Showed up on time to give an estimate. Followed up on estimate. Showed up on time to remove old asphalt. Showed up on time to pave, did extra's at no charge, "well done".

The experience with Asphalt Engineering was very positive, from start to finish. Nate, the owner, did the estimate, was very professional, and answered all my questions. The ladies in the office were very organized about scheduling the work, letting me know the plans, emailing the contract, etc. The company took care of calling DigSafe, permitting, etc. The crews showed up on time and were good at what they did - even though they were paving on a hot day, they took care to get the pitch of the driveway right, were helpful when I talked to them, cleaned up well after the work, etc. The overall impression was "this was the way every interaction with a company should be."

They did a very good job, providing options to handle a very difficult drainage situation. I wasn't sure how the area would handle the winter weather and the wet spring, so I only had a portion of the driveway replaced. The driveway has come through with flying colors as it is as solid in the wet spring as it was when they first laid it. Very satisfied with the job, with the follow-up and a very professional staff. The entire process was performed very professionally and with great attention to quality of work and fine details desired. The skills of all the workers involved in performing this work were Top Notch !! The new asphalt looks great and very smooth. In addition the entire transaction handling by the administrative team at Asphalt Engineering was very professional and provided excellent customer service focus which is very hard to find now a days and is very much appreciated.

Everything went exactly according to the schedule: It started and completed as promised Job performed with good quality, efficiently, and professionally

- prompt in scheduling the estimate. -person providing estimate was able to make good recommendations about lengthening the driveway and placement of the basketball hoop -estimate was very detailed - a human always answers the phone when you call -crews arrived when they said they would -completed work in a timely manner -very attentive to details like keeping asphalt off of grass, walkway, even helped to move our plants that were too close only recommendation - the paperwork that is given at the conclusion of the job should include more detail about when you can walk and drive on the driveway. I had to call to get that information.

Our experience from beginning to end was unusually positive. Everyone we dealt with, from office staff, to estimater, to road crew was great! Small details were taken care of with quality. They went out of their way to work with us to make sure we got the end product that we wanted. After the project was over, they even credited us, on their own, for a piece of the job that was not needed and therefore not performed. Other companies we would have had to make the call to get the credit or probably wouldn't have seen it at all. It was the best contractor service I have had.

- Phone calls and emails were answered promptly. - Quick response to appointment request. Appointment in a few days. Knowledgeable and helpful estimator and and talked at a level that an inexperienced home owner could understand. - Received a clear specific diagram with estimate. Another company did not provide one. - AE came to Hyde Park even though it was more than 40 miles away. The distance may have raised the price but the service and attention I received was worth it. - I saved about $200 by obtaining the Boston Temporary Construction Permit myself. Quite the learning experience! -I need to do quite a bit of back filling along the edges from the years of poor water run off. I didn't expect so much would be needed but it 's the property not the workmanship. - Crew of 7 on paving day worked in unison and cleaned up well. They even swept the street where the trucks were parked. - Would definitely recommend this company!
