The service went very well. They did exactly what the deal stated. Two technicians came out and completed the job in 1 day. I thought the deal pricing was very good. The staff was prompt, polite and did a good job. I had no difficulties scheduling the deal at all.

Went fantastically! Crew came to prep the area one day - they were a well-oiled team. A few days later they did the paving - again an excellent job with a seasoned paving crew. This company and its employees - like all we have recently hired since joining Angie's list - have been pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable about their craft. They were always willing to answer concerns or questions while the work was being done, and even more significantly after the work was completed. While they provided written instructions in terms of preparing for the work and on usage, care, etc. of the driveway, the office staff quickly got back to me with my questions in terms of best waiting period before using the driveway and judging when exactly to plan for the first sealcoating. Many comments from neighbors on how great it looks. Yes would recommend them to others. Plan to keep their sign up until we begin to use our beautiful spacious driveway.

Requested service and they got right back saying a women would be contacting me to schedule a time to visit and provide a quote. I never heard from them again. Went with Basic Sealcoating. They came out the same day and the quote was great! Driveway looks fantastic and I was very happy.

Asphalt Engineering is the best pavers you will find out there. All reviews here are proof why they are best, from the back office logistics support to the crew doing the actual job. Prompt response everytime along with updated estimates and diagrams if there are changes to the plan. We are very pleased with them and would highly recommend to anyone.

I emailed the company and they got back to me the next day to set up an estimate. Paul came to the house two days later as promsied on time and within a day or two I had a written proposal emailed and mailed hardcopy to my house. The girls at the office were very pleasant to deal with. I received four different estimates for the job and although they were not the lowest they came in $2,000 under the highest. It was an easy decision based on all the reviews. When I arrived home that day I noticed there was a minor issue with the driveway. I called the comapany and they immediately scheduled a repair crew to return. They made the minor fix (buried a cable that was protruding throught the asphalt) and it looks as good as new. Jobs like there you really do not know until years down the road but we were provided a three year warranty so that made us feel pretty good.

Service was done on time exactly as planned. No surprises. Courteous on site and office team. Very responsive to questions. Excellent service and the driveway looks great, and most importantly, drains correctly.

The entire process was excellent from scheduling, quoting and paving job. The person that came out to quote the job arrived on time and answered all my questions. Once I decided to move forward with Asphalt Engineering the office staffing very professional and helpful scheduling the paving job. The paving crew arrived on time, completed it quickly and did an excellent job. Everyone I spoke with was professional, courteous and their commitment to providing top notch service was evident.. This was probably the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. The company was very responsive when I called to get an estimate. All of the ladies in the office were extremely pleasant and answered all of my questions. When it came time for the excavation, I was so pleased with how smoothly it went. There were at least five guys on the job and each of them knew exactly what to do. They finished within 3 hours. The paving crew arrived right on time the very next day. Again, each person performed their job very well and obviously took pride in what they did all within 2 and 1/2 hours! The driveway looks amazing. I constantly receive compliments on the driveway from the neighbors. I will recommend Asphalt Engineering to everyone. Thank you!

Matt contacted me right away and came out to provide me with an estimate almost immediately. We arranged a date for the work. The prep technicians arrived early and got to work right away. They were amazing to watch - they worked in perfect harmony. The prep work was completed in 1 hour. I was not at home when they added the finishing surface, but I am thrilled with the completed project. I would definitely recommend this company. They are very professional and it was a pleasure to work with them.

My original appointments were in the beginning of May. Because I was also in the middle of building my retaining wall I had to move my paving date out a few more week, however I still had them come out and rip up the driveway while I finished the wall. Due to the weather there were some scheduling issues with completing the driveway. Throughout the whole process Asphalt Engineer was very helpful and remained in constant contact with me in order to make arrangements to complete the project. Finally after almost 2 months it looked like I was going to get rained out again and have to push out my date again. Luckily they were able to fit me in the day before my schedule date. The driveway came out beautifully. I am very happy with the professionalism Asphalt Engineers displayed throughout the project.

I found them through Angie's List, in fact, I got a 5% discount because I am a member of Angie's List and I have a rather large driveway. What stood out to me about them was their knowledge and expertise. I got three quotes and their quote came in less than all the others. I found that their initial site inspection was impressive and that the person who came out to do the site inspection and take the specs was very knowledgeable and thorough. You could tell that he and his company have done this a while and that they are very professional. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

The office staff answered calls quickly & professionally. Zack was in charge of the project and did a great job.

I called them to get an estimate and they sent someone out very quickly. They mailed me a very detailed estimate which I compared to the other quotes I had. I didn't choose them to do the work because the price was somewhat higher. But I have to say that I wouldn't hesitate to call them again as I believe they are a very good company.

In May they saw cut the edges and created a three foot by 8 foot opening in the existing driveway and removed the existing asphalt, then they -paved 1.5" basecoat (after compaction) -paved 1.5" topcoat (after compaction) -compacted again -sealed all seams used a total of ton of asphalt in the repair. The office personal were very helpful and easy to deal with. Both crews were fantastic and arrived on time and worked quickly and cleaned up the work site. On 6/23 the sealcoating crew arrived at 7:30AM. They prepped the entire driveway with wire brushes and used a leaf blower to remove debris, they then used melted to seal the new seams caused by the repair and and also rubber sealed other long cracks in the driveway. Using a squeegee they applied the sealcoating and then cordoned off the driveway and put up their sign. Both crews were very professional and pleasant individuals. I have no complaints and would give my wholehearted recommendation to the company. The money paid for the sealcoating was less than I paid for a previous sealcoating job and is much better job.

Asphalt Engineering came out to perform the seal coating on the date scheduled. The services provided were as I expected, which included the following: (a) They prepped the entire area by removing dirt, debris, with brooms and a power blower; (b) They used a squeege method to apply the seal coating, and (c) They cordoned off the driveway using caution tape. I will definitely use Asphalt Engineering for my future drive way seal coating needs.

They were great in every way. They were very easy to deal with throughout the entire process. They promptly came and gave us an estimate and worked with us to get a schedule that worked for us. They responded quickly via phone or email to any questions we had. All the people we dealt with were very professional. (We had another company the previous year that was supposed to do the work, but they never returned calls and never put us on the schedule; and they cost more!). This was the difference between night and day. We definitely would recommend Asphalt Engineering

Supervisors and crew were great! On time, polite, very professional, hard working crew. This was a two day job. The first day they dug up the driveway and walkway and prepped it for the following week. The following week they put in the new asphalt. Below is the detail of the job: -rip up and remove existing asphalt -remove any unneeded or insu?cient sub-base, haul away and dispose (depth of up to 12 inches as needed) -add needed tons of 3/4" reprocessed gravel (sub-base) -compact gravel in 6" lifts for proper compaction with a 5 ton vibratory roller -grade pitch for proper water run o?-RAISE GRADE IN SECTION B -SQUARE EDGE IN SECTION D -pave 2" asphalt basecoat (1.5" after compaction) -pave 2" asphalt topcoat (1.5" after compaction) -compact with 5 ton vibratory roller -tamper all edges at a 45 degree angle -seal seams with emulsion and stone dust (excess dust willwash away in first rain)- cordon o? with caution tape27 tons of asphalt Driveway looks great. I no longer have dips in the driveway/waklways and puddles are not pooling anymore when it rains. I will be calling them back when it's time to sealcoat!

AE's price was just above the lowest of the three we received. Their proposal included installing a new driveway with 3" (compacted) of asphalt installed in two 1-1/2" layers (compacted). AE also proposed installing an asphalt walkway vs. paving stones. In the end we decided to have the walkway done later by a landscaper and awarded the driveway to AE. As soon as we notified AE that we wanted them to do the work they called Dig-Safe and started the permitting process. All of the utility mrk-ups were done within a week. The excavation and grading crew arrived on time and completed the work in 4 hours. Paving was done two days later as-scheduled. Both crews were quite small and very efficient, with little need for direction. These men have obviously worked together for while, and each knew exactly what was needed and where he needed to be next. The result is beautiful - a long driveway that flows down a short hill and curves gracefully, with a turn-around that can accommodate three parked cars. It was an excellent job. Coordination by the AE back office was excellent throughout the process.

The service turned out great. They are a local company and the owner was involved which I really liked. The technicians who did the service did a great job. Scheduling was very easy.

Beautiful. They answered the phone on my first attempt, and were attentive and responsive throughout.

In a word the experience from start to finish was excellent. All phases were flawless. They redefined wowing the customer.

These guys are amazing. I've had a lot of people compliment me on how good my driveway looks. They are responsive, great work, very quick and over very professional.
