I had a great experience with A-Tech. The owner kept in touch with me to let me know he was running behind and arrived when promised. He and his helper immediately got to work - which started with laying down a tarp in order to protect the floor and keep it clean. They found that the elbow at the top of our insert fireplace had broken and expertly repaired it before moving on to clean the chimney and fireplace without a drop of soot falling anywhere but on the drop cloth. The owner was very friendly and professional and explained his work as he went along and also offered a tutorial on how to use the fireplace and how to keep it clean. The cost was more than reasonable and was given a $20 discount for printing a coupon from Angie's List. I plan on using A-Tech for our yearly cleaning and maintenance.

Mr Perreault was very responsive, calling back quickly at all times and scheduled the work within 1 week of the inquiry for an estimate.They were very friendly, efficient and exceptionally clean. We would recommend him to friends and would use him again.

I chose A-Tac based on other Angie's list reviews and coupon. I called for chimney cleaning and estimate for a cap. They were able to give me an appointment with in a week. The day of the appointment they called 15 minutes before they arrived and were very punctual. David gave me his business card before entering my home and was very nice and professional. They cleaned the chimney very neatly, you would never even know they had been there. He gave me an estimate for the cap and explained why a specific size cap was necessary. He also gave me the option of doing it that day or coming back another time so I could discuss it with my husband. I had him do it that day. They did a great job!

We recently purchased a home that was a foreclosure, so there were many improvements to be made. At first we thought we'd put off the chimney cleaning, but it was a very chilly few weeks and we decided to just go ahead. I called A-Tec on a Weds, and they were able to come out that Saturday. The technician called on his way to our house, and arrived in the middle of the 8-10am window. He was very professional, and went straight to work. My husband had a few questions, and he was more than happy to answer them. He even showed us how the furnace works and gave us some other tips about fires and the fireplace. He took his time and did a thorough job. The chimney probably hadn't been cleaned for years and there was a pile of ash in the hearth from the previous residents, and he made sure he got it all.

David and his crew did an excellent job. He inspected our chimney and cleaned the flue. Bricks near the top of the chimney were in poor shape from spalling caused by water entering the brick and freezing. He tore down and rebuilt the top portion of our chimney, installed a chimney cap, and sealed the outside of the chimney. It looks great and works well. He came on time, explained what needed to be done, and did high quality work at a good price. I highly recommend A-tec Chimney Sweep for any chimney work you may need.
