A-Tec Chimney Sweep

Description of Work: A-TEC replaced my chimney liner, rebuilt brick on the chimney, installed a new crown, and a new, larger sized chimney cap. I dealt with John who was very honest, polite, and professional and took time to answer all of my questions. Steve was my technician. I have already recommended A-TEC Chimney to a friend. The prices were very reasonable for the work performed.

Description of Work: We had a chimney inspection and cleaning of furnace flue (fireplace did not need cleaning). Service was fast and everything was explained very clearly. My husband and I did not feel that the fellow (whose name I forget) was trying to scare us in to buying services that we might not need. We got an estimate for some repairs, and will probably call them in the future.

Description of Work: I called them to come and check to see if the chimney at our business (a residential care home) needed to be cleaned. They told me that they could come in two weeks and they were there just when they said they would be. They spent time checking the chimney from the basement at the furnace and from the roof. They also were very helpful and told our maintainance man how to help prevent build up, what should have been done before (we were not told the last time we had the chimney cleaned) to have prevented some issues that we faced this time. They also called to our attention some issues in our chimney that are not critical at this time but will need to be addressed in a few years. They even gave us an estimate for that work. I will definately have that work done by this company. They were at our business for over four hours that ia the reason it cost us so much. But I must say it was worth every cent knowing the work was done correctly, professionally and that we now have the peace of mind of knowing that our chimney is safe. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to have their chimney cleaned, repairedor replaced.

Description of Work: They were very professional and prompt (well they were running late but they called me several times to let me know when they would be here). Thorough job. I will use them again.

Description of Work: I scheduled an inspection and cleaning if it was determined if was needed. Mike and Jimmy inspected the stove and all related piping and then cleaned the piping from the stove to the top cap. They were very quick yet thorough. They even applied a coat of heat-resistant paint to the cap which was aluminum and would eventually corrode. The one problem was that I was given a window for arrival of 1-3pm. They did not show up until 4pm. This was due to overscheduling..
