From start to finish, Window World of MA was a pleasure to work with. Everything was delivered and installed as promised. The windows are beautiful, we also had some siding and roof repairs done to correct work done by a different contractor. All of the installers were professional, courteous and very considerate. Working with this company is one of the best decisions that we made and we highly recommend them.

Horrible! Stay away from this company to avoid your frustration. I reached out to Window World in Westfield, MA early in the week and made an in home appointment for Saturday 4/4/ 2020 at a specific time. The day comes, I rearranged my scheduled so I would be there to meet and give my full attention because I want to get this job done very soon. The day and time comes and nobody shows up. I texted Grace (who was very good) as she was the one who confirmed my appointment. She replies back that it is the owner who is coming out to my home to do the estimate. She did not know why he didn't show or contact me. She said she would try to reach him. About a half hour later I get a call from the owner and he says he would be there in about an hour. I tell him I had a specific appointment at 3 pm and he tries to deny the fact. I reviewed the text I received from Grace and I was correct for the 3 pm time. I asked the owner what about my specific time? I tell him I would reach out to a company who could live up to thier commitments and give customer service. In my past expierences, customer service usually gets better as you go up the corporate ladder. To receive poor customer service from the owner of the company is totally unacceptable. The question I was asking myself, what if I signed a contract and received this poor customer service as they failed to show up to do the job at the specific time they committed to when I took the the specific time frame off from work? There are far to many window companies and home improvement companies out there to be treated this way with very poor customer service. Why does a company spend so much $$ on marketing and then drop the ball when it comes time to get the job? Time to move on with a better company.

We did our due diligence and spoke with several contractors when we decided to renovate the front of our home. When we met Tim from Window World we knew immediately that we wanted to work with him. He was so excited about our home and the project. He had a vision that no one else offered, and really helped us to see the potential that our house had. Shortly after we signed the paperwork we were given a beginning and end date for the project. Work began on the promised date and was completed in the nine consecutive business days they designated for our project. It rained quite heavily on two of those days but the crew worked straight through it. We had heard so many stories of contractors starting a project only to stop part way through to work on something else. Tim promised us that once they start a project they would complete it before moving on to the next project, and he kept his promise. The foreman Craig and his amazing crew cared for our home as if they were working on their own home. The craftsmanship and dedication to detail was contagious throughout the crew and absolutely no corners were cut by a single worker. They were friendly and courteous which was very much appreciated as we both have home offices and were at home throughout much of each work day. At the end of every day they cleaned up inside and out leaving us to enjoy our living space free of construction mess and general chaos. We were so excited to see each new day come and go and to see the results of their meticulous work. Thank you Window World for our beautiful new home. We love it! Brian & Cynthia W. West Springfield

Fantastic. I have been researching new doors for 5 year; the contractors said to cut it and it was an exuberant price. The work was efficient. They came out just one morning to finish the job. Price was perfect. They stuck to what they said they were going to.

Melodie Haas · 2 seconds ago I ordered windows, siding and gutters with covers. The windows were installed almost a month to the day they were ordered. The guys were pretty nice but I felt like one guy wanted to clean up more than the other guys. Instead of vacuuming they swiffered. They were nice enough to take down my blinds but the sales men said they would. I have problems with my hands they look fine but have a hard time using them for stuff that needs pressure. A week after they were installed I opened them to get fresh air and realized the screen had a small hole in it. Kind of defeats the purpose. So I looked at all the screens and about 4 of them all had small holes. I'm glad they were able to install it in one day but I wonder if it had taken two they may have noticed the holes. I still need to call it in for the warranty. Unto the siding and gutters. I ordered them on 9 Sept and I am still waiting for it to be installed. I was told it would take about a month to come in. Everytime I call they say another couple of weeks. Nov 28th I received a delivery. I was told the installers would be here at 645 the next day. I don't get up that early even on work days but I was glad to get this process done. They said it should take five days. It is Nov 29 and they did not show up. Its not raining and its now 849. I called the office they said they do not install when it rains...but its not raining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand why they didn't come out today and at least try to start the install I'll keep you updated. I still have not received a phone call back from Windows world and its been over a half hour. Really bad communicators. I should have gone with finyl vinyl.

the quality of the windows and doors is not as good as home depot. we had issues with the installation and they had to return. the workers smoked cigars and cigarettes (!) and were crude. If you can afford to, use a better company. When we complained about things, their standard response was "well, we were the cheapest weren't we"?

I should have known when the sales associate was late for the initial appointment that things were going to be a mess. But after putting that aside, I decided to go with WW. What a joke!!!!! The sales associate had no clue what the installation team does, thus he quoted me items that they would not perform. That was just the beginning. I was never notified of the delivery of materials or the dumpster. Good thing I was at work when this was done, if not, I would have been trapped in my driveway (it's a single car width and they left the dumpster on the end). Then, I was never informed when they were going to start, thus, at 7:00 on a Monday morning, I stepped out of my shower (my bathroom is at the front of my house) and turned the corner to see a bunch of men standing in my front yard, right in front of the window in my bathroom. Not sure if they received "a show" or not since no one mentioned anything. In addition, I have dogs. I had asked specifically to give at least 24hours notice so I could have them out of the house. I did not want to dogs around to deal with the noise or to sustain an injury from the demo phase and debris. I had to finish getting ready with two dogs freaking out due to all the noise and banging on the house. It just went downhill from there. Items were never communicated to me about a multitude of things, I was blown off twice for appointments they made with me, they attached things back to the house which I had asked not to (things which were not code related), and a few more items which they are washing their hands of. Then when it came down to final payment, they wanted to give me a $100 credit to my bill. Seriously!!! You guys screw up over and over and I'm suppose to pay for your mistakes? Who's paying for my time spent while my appointments were blown off? Window World? Hmm? Nope your not and my time is worth way more than $100. As a CEO and partial owner of a local company (a company which was/is founded on service both in house and in the field), Window Worlds values, communication and dealings with myself were disgusting. If my coworkers acted in the manner in which the Window World team did, not only would we be loosing a customer, but we would be footing a portion of the bill, like 30-60% of it. Their owner offered me $100.00. Be warned if you deal with these people, they do not hold up to the "Customer is always right". Regardless of what they say, they will not work with you on $$$. Big Mistake. I do not recommend them and I regret using them. I am not happy with the outcome of the siding job,it looks awful the way they chose to side the house. I know they might respond to this review, at this point, I really don't care, I'm just happy do be done with them.

Ugh. Seemed ok at first, however as soon as we hit a snag, things went downhill fast. They became rude and didnt work to fix the problem. Basically we asked them to replace all of our windows, they counted wrong and missed one. We had to wait a month for the additional window, which was of course removed and then replaced during the big instalation making it as drafty as possible. The window was in my infant son's room and it was still very cold at night during that time of year. They were totally unapologetic and actually blamed us for not counting the windows to correct their estimate. Never again.

From the first meeting with James on the review and estimate; to the second meeting to cover all the measurements; to the integration with the office staff on scheduling the installation; to the two-day installation of all 19 windows in my 1954 house this was perhaps one of the most professional, accurate, and satisfactory home upgrades I've ever experienced. Most remarkably, when Don and his crew arrived on Monday morning (I was told it would probably be a full two-day job) HE ASKED ME where I'd like him to begin! I've never experienced a contractor so willing to consider my convenience as his starting point! I was most worried (yes I had guests arriving on Friday and was worried that there'd be a real mess to clean up prior to their arrival) that the newly finished wood floors, all of the furniture, everything would be a stressor for me. I also stressed about the landscaping which, as with most houses of my vintage, is mature and just the way I want it. By around 3:30 that first afternoon, all old windows, storms, and stops had been removed; all new windows were in; floors were as clean as they'd been when Don and his crew arrived; furniture was totally untouched; and not a bit of the landscaping flanking the house had suffered any indignity. On the second morning, Don and the crew arrived and, without even troubling me and the dog (Don was a real dog-lover so he was very patient and a treat with my Alphie!) set about finishing all of the external work on all windows. By 1:30 or so, the entire process was done, Don and I did a walk around, and the entire job was perfection. It would be silly to continue the superlatives, but Window World of Western Massachusetts--from top to bottom--ranks among the very best experiences I've ever had in work on my home. They're to be commended and, from my point of view, recommended VERY HIGHLY. Thanks so much.

They know exactly what they are doing. There were 2 and sometimes 3 people working on the 2 doors. They just continually worked and knew exactly what to do. That impressed me. I think that their price is good.

Replaced two windows in kitchen, did a good job. Replaced our bay window with three standard windows joined together, very pretty. However, used existing siding from our house to put over front windows as removing the bay window left a bare spot. Where they took existing siding, they replaced with GRAY siding, on our light blue house. We were told they would try to match it as close as possible though it wouldn't match exactly because our siding is old. This isn't even a little bit close. Worker said that he told us it wouldnt match. It has been about three weeks and today I am told they are shopping for supplies to fix it. The vented soffit panel over the new front windows was replaced with solid aluminum and does not match. We asked them to match the soffit panel, shouldn't be too hard. The worker said they don't make that kind anymore, and also told us we would never find light blue vinyl siding. However, a quick search on Lowes.com, and I found both. They were not able to finish the work on June 13th due to rain, understandably, and said they would be back the next day. Never showed up though we waited around for them. Worker said he "didn't have our phone number to contact us". We were told they would come early Monday morning. Showed up closer to noon, which is when we discovered the rather dark gray siding on our house. Called the office to complain and they said they would rectify the issue. (Office staff is very pleasant). Owner showed up to our house, but the worker cut in front of me, went out and shut the front door to talk to him and I never got to speak to him. Then the worker assured me he would be back tomorrow or soon and do the work, and had me pay the balance (so mad at myself for paying). We left for vacation for 8 days, and when we came back, nothing had been done. WW said they their supplier doesn't carry that color of siding, but since we were told we would be getting a close match, they would do it. Then the worker we had here said we would have to pay for the "extra labor". I will not be paying anything more. They also did not do as good of a job as they should have cleaning up, we picked up some very large pieces, some in our bushes, as large as a foot. Requested another worker

Thank you for your post. We are sincerely disappointed that your experience with us was not up to our usual high standard. From time to time, employees may make decisions that are less than a "10". Sometimes, as in this particular case, we have to replace them with someone else who understands our high standards for installations, clean up and customer service. As far as the materials go, we worked very hard to find a match for your previously installed siding even though it was faded from age and we had not installed it. We did explain this would be difficult before entering into the job agreement. We do everything we can to make things right for our customers. We usually succeed. The owner takes particular pride in our high customer satisfaction rating. Thank you for your business.

Was disappointed that we did not get a quote from them as I was assured they had competitive prices. **UPDATE** After reading this review WW made an attempt to rectify the issue. They called and sincerely apologized for the mis-communication and came out to do a quote on our windows which took all of 20 minutes. The gentleman was very nice and apologetic. He made it clear that they were concerned with this review and asked that I amend it. They gave no discount in the quote despite the previous mentioned incident.
Description of Work: Set up an appointment for an estimate on windows, somewhere along the lines there was miscommunication and Craig came on the wrong day and we missed him within a 20 minute window. I called the number he left on the card immediately when I returned home. No answer, called again, no answer. I left a VM and my call was never returned.

You assigned us a C on quality but to be clear, we never sold or installed products in your home. Your grade of C for responsiveness may also be an error since your update clearly shows that we were responsive. You graded us a D on price but we are happy to say that we are confident that apples for apples no one beats our price. The workers came on time, where very polite, did a good job, and cleaned up the mess. Been over an year and everythings works fine.

They were very professional. There were really no dislikes except for the fact that I found someone else to do the job a little bit cheaper and with a little bit better windows. Well, I hope I don't need to, but there would be a possibility that I would say "Yes, I would use them in the future if needed".
