The water was out and the pump kept running and running. They came right out and figured out there was a hole on the end of the brass fitting in the well. They also suggested to replace the pump that was in the house with a newer submersed pump as the old pump was well past it's life span, and the submersed was a newer and more reliable technology. They did all the work very quickly, including digging in frozen ground. They were very professional and took the time to explain how to maintain the existing water softener system, which wasn't even their system.
Description of Work: Replaced well water pump with a submersed pump.

this is the type of call no one wants to make...especially at night on a weekend! Our usual well contractor wanted to put us off until Monday which is IMPOSSIBLE when you have four horses who consume 40+ gallons of water each per day. Our insurance would not cover this emergency, so we bought 20+ 5 gallon bottles of water for the horses and began our search. Kevin called me at work on Saturday and assured me he and his crew would be at my home by 12:30 that day. My husband said they spent the better part of the day between our well pump and walking to our above ground shallow well. We had already had an issue with low water pressure 6 weeks before, and were told that it would run us in the and quot;neighborhoodand quot; of 10 grand to put in a new well and to install new lines. We are not very well off financially and have very little in savings, and very bad credit....and had no idea what we were going to do. After they tried everything to restore pressure, they made my husband an offer to replace the lines from the house to the well. And began the work immediately! By Monday morning, we had water restored to our home! AND!! they not only took care of the debris created with digging the trench, they did a phenomenal job of cleaning up our yard as well as leaving our home the way they found it. You'd never know that there was an issue with our well pump at all. We are beyond pleased with our new pump and the professional way that these gentlemen did business with us. I'm over the moon impressed with them and STRONGLY recommend their services to anyone seeking a well pump service team!! Five gold stars for Quabbin Well Water Pump Service in Belchertown MA!!!!
Description of Work: Installed new piping and pump from existing well to home, dug trenches and removed debris upon job completion

A gentleman came onsite, briefly peered at the equipment and indicated it would cost $1000's to do the work. We agreed they would come out during the week to take a water sample and drop off a quote. We never received a quote, nor did they take a water sample. Called numerous times and left messages to find out status of the quote and the supposed water sample test. Never heard from them. They were obviously not interested in the job.
Description of Work: Had the company come onsite to look at our well filter system and give us a quote. We have iron in our water and the filter system had started failing to remove the iron. They agreed to come to the house. They were late to the meeting, but at least showed up.

This is the second trip to get sufficient water pressure. Though it took him awhile to straighten out so that I had decent water pressure, he finally did. He came promptly when called. He explained everything to me. I think he had a fair price. I would hire him again.
Description of Work: He put in a new well pump and tank. He put in a new valve at the end of the hose in the well.
