Technician was quick to call back and would have come out the same day if I was available. Scheduled a convenient time and showed up exactly when he said he would. Quickly found and corrected the problem. Professional, honest, friendly, will definitely use this business again and recommend to others.

I had some questions regarding energizing an outlet for my gas insert. John called me back within 2 hours. John listened to my story and offered some suggestions. Due to time constraints on both our parts, we couldn't make this work. However, I will be calling him back in the spring.

John came by on short notice and right on schedule to check out the job. He observed that actually running a new service would be very expensive and complicated through the finished basement. He also observed that the dryer was nearby and that we could just piggyback off of the dryer's electrical service with an extension cord and we wouldn't need any electrical work at all; we can just not use the dryer when we are using the new equipment, which should not be very often. He saved us a ton. Will definitely use him in the future.

John was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. He came and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. Great experience. I would definitely use again.

Everything went well. He contacted us within a few hours of our requesting assistance and arranged to come for the initial visit a day or two later. Follow-up visits were also prompt, except it took a long time to get one part--not his fault. Kept in touch through texting when awaiting next steps. Very nice guy--pleasant and funny, as well as good at explaining problems.

I couldn't be happier with the whole experience that I had with J & R Electric. John Roda returned my call within hours after leaving him a message telling him what work I needed done. I had already purchased the thermostats and he asked me some questions about my heating system and what kind of thermostats did I have installed. It turned out that I purchased the wrong type. He told me to return them and he would purchase them for me. John saved me money by purchasing thermostats which would do exactly what I wanted them to do without the extra "bells and whistles" that I didn't need or want. When I spoke to him on the phone, I told him the dimensions of the thermostats that I currently had and the new thermostats fit the holes in the walls, where the wires came out, perfectly. John came on the day that we scheduled and at the time that he said he would be there. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I would definitely hire J & R Electric again and I highly recommend this business to anyone needing an electrician.

John responded to my request for someone to do a small job very quickly. He was prompt, a pleasure to deal with, and the price was exactly what he estimated. He identified some work that could be done later, and I will definitely call him to do it. Great all around.

He suggested a different location on a different wall and it worked out perfectly. He worked efficiently and I didn't have a mess to clean up when he had to make an opening in the wall for the outlet.

They installed a grounding wire for our gas piping.

Also gave me an idea about some other electrical issues in the house. I am very pleased with his work.

I write a review on a prompt and professionally returned call because they are rare in these parts, so this contractor would be someone I'd call back if I wanted bids on a job. This was just a phone call, so the "where the service occurred" is not applicable.

Working with John was easy. He did a very good job.

He had to get into the attic and get to a very confined space. Everything went well. No issues, even though the workspace was a bit cramped.

John came in and was able to identified the problem and fix it quickly.

This was a very tough job to do. I put out several requests for this work to other contractors as well. Many came out to view the job. He answered the call as well. He showed up on time and the price was very reasonable. I have used him in the past and his work quality was the same for that job as well. While many other contractors did not have time to do this job, he took the job and he performed it in a manner that he has probably done for his other customers. There is a reason why he usually gets the A rating. He will leave when the job is completed and he has reviewed the job with you.

he was awesome. John is smart, funny, on time, efficient and accurate. I cannot imagine a better experience. He was amazing to work with. An all around talented and great guy. I have worked with other electricians and John leaves them in the dust!

John identified problems and gave me pricing for correcting these in addition to my original request. John pointed out things I never saw and facilitated correction of these. I am both appreciative and impressed.

He answered his phone, went over issue with me, gave me a time he would be there (next morning) Arrived on time next day, fixed all the issues and did a nice job. Called me from the job site after he'd complete the work. Was done in a little over an hour. I'd recommend him highly!

John, the owner, came himself. He has been prompt, direct, and very helpful. He has helped prioritize jobs with us so we can keep to our budget. He began by fixing things immediately such as ungrounded wiring that posed a hazard. He did the work himself and we find him very easy to deal with. It has been a very positive experience so far.

John was out once to do the three light fixtures and get me an new outlet installed so that my under the cabinet microwave had somewhere to plug into. John quoted out the other work and then came back a few days later and spent the whole day working on various items for me. Some were new installs and other items were safety issues that I wanted dones so I would be in compliance and also removing any fire hazard potential. John charged a little more than I expected but I knew he did great work from reviews and I also had the same experiance. I also had nothing to compare his prices to so later I was told by another professional that I got a great deal for what was done. He was conscientious and found things that were important catches that other electricians had neglected and I know he was worth the overall cost.

The plumber requested that we have an electrician ensure that our system could handle the new water heater. We contacted JR Electric and John came to the house to assess the electrical situation and then returned the following day to wire in the new water heater. He is very knowledgeable, responsive, and reliable. We had lots of questions for him and he was more than willing to answer all of them. We are considering in stalling a generator and John answered all our questions and gave us some sound advice. We will DEFINITELY use JR Electric to install the generator! If you need a reliable, honest electrician that knows what he is doing -- John is your guy.
