He began on time, finished on time, stayed on budget, suggested numerous excellent improvements to details (he has great taste), "threw in" any number of no cost improvements, was always accessible, kept me informed, and was great with my kitties. I am thrilled with the final product. Run, do not walk, to hire him for your next project.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen gut and renovation--all walls, floors, ceilings, utilities, appliances removed. Complete electrical and plumbing upgrade, reframing of kitchen walls, ceiling, floor. Custom cabinets, all new appliances and lighting, installation of island, hardwood floor to match other flooring in house, hand-finished mahogany island top, window sills, and desk top, subway tile, soapstone counters, farm sink. Upgrade and insulation of back hall, replacement of front hall radiator, custom woodworking.

+ 1 moreJohn Britton is the owner of Town & Country Construction. He is a good carpenter and builder. I choose him because I had a very good past experience with him and I trust him. He is fantastic. He is very responsive. He will do everything you ask him to do. He is great. I would absolutely use his service in the future.
Description of Work: Town & Country Construction did a little renovation of our study room. He put in insulation and installed the desk. I last used their service last week.

+ 0 moreJohn did excellent work. He planned the job carefully and executed it perfectly. Besides being very competent, he is totally trustworthy and a good guy.
Description of Work: John remodeled an old space in the kitchen for a new refrigerator. We needed to retain the integrity of the style. His work is very high quality. He attends to details, clearly knows his craft and completed the work quickly with a minimum of disruption.
