He was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, interested in understanding the situation we were in, and provided an efficient and helpful solution. As a new homeowner, he put me at ease and was very generous with his time. I will definitely be keeping Chris' number handy. Highly recommend!
Description of Work: We just moved into a new home and when I had my washer and dryer delivered, the installers were unable to find the drainage pipe to attach the hose to and instructed me to call a plumber. I happened upon Swift Plumbing, called earlier in the day, and Chris was at my door in the afternoon. He was able to hook up the hoses immediately. So much for the installers!

+ 0 moreChris did a very professional job. I had actually called several plumbers, and they were all about the same price. Chris had the best availability, which was mainly the reason that we went with him. We were getting our house ready to sell, and each thing needed to be done before something else could be done, and the jacuzzi tub needed to be closed up by the handyman, so the new faucets needed to go in before that could happen. He was on-time, and he did an excellent job. I would certainly recommend him.
Description of Work: Installed new faucets in the kitchen and jacuzzi tub.

+ 0 moreAll plumbing and electrical were well done and professional. But, they did not install the heater to spec. It requires 7 inches of clearance from the wall, there is only 4. Also, he offered a discount if I paid cash, but never dicounted the price.

I decided to call a plumber when I got up this morning and I spoke to Chris Swift and told him what the problem was and he said he had a couple of jobs to finish up and would probably be out between 12 noon and 1:00. He showed up before one, andI told him the problem. While he was here I asked him if he replace the valve in the bathroom downstais and said yes. .He finished the job in about an hour, and I was satified with his work and the price was reasonable.

+ -1 moreWhen I called I received a call quickly and scheduled an appointment and received a call shortly after that stating the plumber could not keep the appointment and re-scheduled quickly. He showed up on time, examined the problem, diagnosed and fixed quickly and fairly cheaply. I had no problem with the re-schedule as I was notified quickly and re-excheduled and I am happy with a job well done.
Description of Work: I had a leak, expecting it to major, it turned out to be minor and was treated as such in a quick and professional manner. I can easily say I never give excellent ratings but I was extremely happy with the service and would easily use this company again.

+ 1 moreOur 50 year old gas boiler got red-tagged by the gas company during a meter inspection, on a Thursday. The next day, I e-mailed a couple of plumbing services to get estimates and Chris was the first to get back to me, via phone, that night. I liked his approach over the phone, so had him come out the next day to check out the situation. The price he quoted was fair, and he and his crew had the unit installed by noon the next day (Sunday). Very professional, no-nonsense quote, the work and cleanup was done with no inconvenience whatsoever. I was very impressed.

+ -1 moreIt was an OK experience: He was very punctual and completed the work in record time.I did not verified the work, since we were pressed for time; however, when I took the shower, I noticed that the water is not diverted 100% to the shower and some water still flows out of the tub spout. In addition, the tub spout (which was replaced) is not flushed against the tub wall.I wrote an e-mail to the plumber informing him of these findings; however, I never heard back from him.
Description of Work: I had two shower valve/diverters replaced. I contacted the plumber via e-mail and we set a time for him to review what needs to be done and provide a quote. A quote was provided a couple of days later and we scheduled a date and time to have the work done. He was very punctual and completed the work in record time. Many of my calls were never returned and the few that were had outrageous prices. Chris, the owner of Swift Plumbing and Heating, returned my phone call right away. He was knowledgable and had a very fair price. He was able to answer all my questions in a way that I could understand. Chris completed the job quickly and was very professional. The price was exactly what he quoted me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will be using Swift Plumbing and Heating again and will highly recommend to anyone in need of plumbing or heating services.

Description of Work: I'm in the process of selling my home and the day before my home inspection, my water heater was leaking everywhere. There was an inch of water in the basement and I couldn't shut it off. My husband was traveling for work and was unable to assist me. I googled local plumbers in Billerica and Swift Plumbing and Heating came up #1 in my search. I visited his website briefly and called the # provided. Chris, the owner, answered my call and was able to walk me through shutting off the water until he could arrive. Chris and one of his employees showed up within the hour and determined a new water heater installation was necessary. He quoted me price on the spot and thankfully he was able to return a little later that evening after finishing another job. I appreciated his professionalism and kind-heartedness getting this job done after hours.
