+ -1 moreOn 10/02/2020 I was riding my bike on the side of South Rd. in Bedford. A dump truck with Iovino Excavating painted on its side drove up behind me, honking his horn even though I was traveling on the side of the road. As he passed, he deliberately swerved his trailer toward me, missing me by inches. Had he struck me I would have landed under the wheels of his trailer. He then turned into Iovino Excavating at 244 South Road. I called the owner, Richard Iovino, later that day and described what happened. He said he would look into it but has not returned a call since. Given the Iovino Excavating employee’s road rage, callous disregard for safety, and the owner’s lack of responsiveness, I would recommend staying away from this business. Safety should be their highest priority, and it clearly is not.

Description of Work: Replaced part of my sewer line. There were roots in my line that the roto rooter machines could not reach. The contractor that started the job called in someone with a camera to determine what the problem was. Long story short this contractor was going to charge me $6,800 to replace a small section of line. I called Iovino and they did the job for about $2000. Richard Iovino was nothing short of great. The workers were professional and nice. IOVINO EXCAVATING ROCKS!!!!!
