Quick response to my initial call for help. Very knowledgeable answers to my questions. I gave the work to another company *only* because that other company was doing the identical outdoor repair for an adjacent neighbor here at my condo (and has done others here as well). I have used Baudanza in the past for some indoor electric work and been impressed with their professionalism and knowledge and thoroughness. Would hire them again for any indoor work.
Description of Work: Evaluation of outdoor electric meter connection problem, and estimate for fixing an underground cable failure.

Description of Work: They responded quickly to my request for 4 electrical jobs to be performed at my home. One of the jobs was taken care of almost immediately, another--replacing a front porch light and putting it on a timer switch (which was more complex and could have been done 2 different ways ) took a bit longer since I waited a while to receive an estimate which would include both approaches. Once I decided how I wanted the job to proceed, they came right out. We live in a house that is 135 years old, and apparently the old fixture was wired with the one remaining bit of knob and tube wiring that had not been replaced years ago....a surprise to us. Ultimately, it was not an easy job, but--without complaining--they took the extra time needed to make sure it was done correctly. Another job, which required replacing a defective part in a bathroom overhead combination light/exhaust/heating unit, was delayed because the part was mailed to the wrong address and then was misplaced. Once the part was finally in hand they called and came right out. Although it took extra time, I appreciated the fact that they were willing to take the least costly option by replacing the part rather than recommending I buy a whole new unit, which I assume saved us money. The electricians did an excellent job, and were very courteous. I liked them a lot and would recommend them without hesitation.

Good experience overall-Prompt and work done well and in timely fashion.
Description of Work: We hired Baudanza recently to replace a bathroom exhaust fan. Baudanza ordered and brought the specific model we wanted and installed it for us after removing the old one, for- total price about $80. They were prompt, courteous and quick, finishing in well under half an hour.

I CALLED BAUDANZA TO SEE IF THEY SERVICED GENERATORS. THE WOMAN I SPOKE TO SAID NO, BUT RATHER THAN LET ME HANG UP, SHE ASKED ME WHAT THE TROUBLE WAS. I EXPLAINED THAT I HAD A RESIDENTIAL GAS-POWERED GENERATOR THAT NEEDED SERVICE, AND SHE SUGGESTED A LOCAL BUSINESS THAT SHE HAD HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT. SHE WAS SYMPATHETIC, TOOK EXTRA TIME TO TALK TO ME, AND REFERRED ME TO AN EXCELLENT COMPANY, FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN THAT SHE WANTED TO HELP.

THE DAY WAS SO COLD THAT SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED, SO HALF MY ELECTRICITY DECIDED TO GO OUT. THE ELECTRIC COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE PASSED THE BUCK TO THE ELECTRICIAN, AFTER ALL THE WORK REQUIRED OUTDOOR WORK IN A WINDY CORRIDOR. THE ELECTRICIAN DID A VALIANT JOB, BUT HE DID MENTION THAT THE CONNECTOR HE'D FIXED BELONGED TO THE LIGHT COMPANY, AND THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT AREA. THE ELECTRICIAN WAS EXPERIENCED, HELPFUL, POLITE, AND PROMPT. PLUS, HE CAME FROM BEYOND HIS NORMAL SERVICE AREA IN RESPONSE TO MY CALL.
