Description of Work: Roof shingles removed and replaced on entire house.

Description of Work: Foreman was a jerk. He insulted one neighbor, potentially endangering the neighbor's home by being careless with debris hitting the neighbor's house. Another neighbor, who works for the navy and is no whimp, was nevertheless surprised by the level of loud and crude language coming from someone on the crew. Someone on the crew left water running costing me $200 in wasted water. Worst of all I suspect someone on this crew of stealing over $500 in jewelry. This can not be proven so and it is left as a suspicion. | |My guess is that the men doing the job were not the problem but the that the foreman was. | |Supposedly this company does good work. You pay for what you get but you get good work. I was told by an impartial observer that it appeared that the workmen were doing the work properly. | |Where roofing is concerned anything less than good is poor. There is no middle ground. The finished product can be good but the conduct can still be poor. So outside having to deal with gross conduct the finished product itself hopefully was good (I will not truly know except over time). | |But leaving water running when they know no one will see that for a couple of days, leaving an indirect message that was some bizarre passive-aggressive attempt at intimidation and finally stealing cancels out the quality of the work as far as being able to make a recommendation.

Description of Work: He dropped by one afternoon after I talked and saw him and asked his advice since we had a few leaks on our enclosed back porch and wood stove. My dad was a carpenter and built the house in stages. Main part of house is 63years old. The addition over the two car garage is 40 years old. There was a leak where the flashing went around chimney. Of course roofers do it differently. All he did was put some kind of tar sealant where he found the problems of leaking. I wasn't home when he came but I doubt that he probably fixed It in a half-hour at the most.Being a female and not knowing much about roofs, I thought he had charged too much for the work he did.

Description of Work: Stan and his crew did an excellent job on our new roof. They went above and beyond there work performance to satisfy my husband with his perfectionism. He was very happy and we've gotten many compliments from our neighbors. We were concerned about our plantings surrounding the house, but they used care to ensure that nothing got disrupted and cleaned up everything afterwards, not a nail to be found ( which was also a concern. Description of Work: The crew arrived on schedule. Work began immediately. The work continued with no lag time and was completed as schedule. Had the roof of my home striped of 2 layers of old roofing material and replaced. The work was done in a professional manner. Upon completion they immediately began removing all the waste material that had fallen from the roof, shingles, nails and etc. My yard was left as it was before the roofer arrived.

Description of Work: showed up late for original appointment saw me talking to someone else never said a word merely peeled out in a huff when i called company to ask why " oh, he saw you talking to somebody else didn't want to be rude & interupt" what a farce! came back approx. 1 & 1/2 hrs. later without a call first i was unable to answer the door so he dropped a folder on the step with a letter of intro, etc i called the office again & the respondant was rude & angry that i wasn't available when his partner dropped by unannounced said he wouldconcact him & reschedule of course, i never heard from them again which was really just as well since all of this was just to get an estimate late, rude, unprofessional, etc. can't imagine that the quality of te work would have been any better

Description of Work: Received an estimate and went with this company. They stripped off two layers of roofing, replacing all damaged wood, installed ridge vent, installed ice and water shield, venting for bathroom fan, replaced flashing around chimney, installed architectural shingles and cleaned up and removed debris.

Description of Work: over the years,since I bought my three family brick back in 1980 The Kelly Roofing has been there to help.They repaired the the old tar and gravel roof. Then later when I could afford it they replaced it with a lovely rubber roof .They also replaced the old wooden back porches that were falling down with great new spacial wood that doesn't rot and still looks great after twenty years.After I had insulation installed in the attic area they redid all the seems .I haven't had any leeks.of which I'm very grateful.There prices have always been reasonable and I would call again if the need arises.
