Our 50+ year old boiler developed a gas leak and before any heating company would replace it, we had to have the asbestos removed. On Wednesday afternoon Joe Duffey arrived within an hour of being called. We discussed the job, and the fact that the outside temperature was getting cold. The next morning I had a proposal and on Friday I told Joe he had the job. He had to juggle his crew's schedule around to accommodate us, but said we'd have a crew at the house on Monday morning. We got a phone call at 7:30 Monday morning saying they were on the way (nice touch.) They immediately got to work and five hours later they were done. The inspector arrived before they were finished and had to come back, but once he did he declared everything clean. The guys took down all the protection and sweep up after themselves leaving the basement cleaner than it was before they started! Great crew, great company - responsive, great communication, and a fair price.

Excellent communication quote thru cleanup. Joe and team provided a high level quote over the phone based on the square footage information. The final quote after the site visit was on the upper end of the original range provided, but expectations were clearly set. The crews arrived on the appointed date and completed the work within the range of days provided. Permits and inspection reports were provided in a timely fashion.

Joe came to the house and quoted the work. Throughout the process, Joe was patient in explaining the work and answering questions. He also clearly explained what work we needed to do to prepare the space for the ESI crew. The crew was professional and even completed the work ahead of schedule. We would absolutely hire ESI again – they did great work and made an otherwise intimidating process very easy.

Joe Duffey was a pleasure to work with. He responded immediately in scheduling a consultation for the removal of an asbestos tile flooring in a very large family room. He worked his schedule around our seeking out a floor company for floor replacement. The workmen arrived promptly on the scheduled day with Joe and they were pleasant, polite and efficient during the floor removal process. They left the room very neat. Joe took care of all the town requirements for the asbestos removal. I didn't have to do a thing. Joe made a pre-work call the day before and called us that evening after the floor removal to make sure the work was satisfactory and that we were pleased. Working with Joe Duffy at Environmental Solutions was a great experience on a house project that I had been dreading. I would recommend this company for very good work and pleasant people. You will not be disappointed.

Crew on time; supervisor Joe was very responsive to questions and calls. Workers showed me the set up and explained everything. They appeared to definitely know how to and what they were doing. Super came morning of to check in an get workers started.

We were in the middle of a renovation and our contractor realized that he had to move a pipe which had asbestos encapsulating agents on it. Our reno. was at a standstill until the asbestos could be removed and disposed. The problem pipe ran heat up to our daughter's room, so it was an immediate need. We called up Joe and he was at out house within one hour going over the options, price and process. He helped us schedule the project right away and walked us through how to prepare. His team came in exactly when they said they were going to, completed the job on time and cleaned up the area amazingly. They made the area look like it was freshly painted and redone. Every company should operate like ESI!

On my initial call to Environmental Solutions, Joe Duffey answered the phone himself and clearly explained to me the process, including permits and waiting times, and what the costs would be. Based on my description of the extent of work required, Joe was able to quote me a price without coming on-site. He then emailed me a proposal to review, sign, and return. The proposal was clear and detailed, and included concise instructions on what we needed to do to prepare the work area. Joe took care of all of the paperwork, permits, and notifications. He was flexible with scheduling to accommodate our schedule, and returned my calls promptly when I had questions before the job. Joe and his crew arrived on time (even a few minutes early) and got right to work. They completely sealed off the area where the work was done, and I felt very safe. The work took about 3 hours, and they had pre-arranged a licensed inspector to be available so there was no downtime. When they left, the area was as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. A week or so later Joe emailed me the documentation and his invoice, and all was in order and just as quoted. I wholeheartedly recommend Environmental Solutions for your home or business.

They came by with an estimate which included getting the permits from the city and proper removal of the asbestos. They began the work promptly after having to wait for other workmen I had working on my house, (in other words, they were flexible about the date.) Communication via e-mail and phone was courteous and prompt. Questions I had were always answered. After a final look-over, the work was begun and completed in a day. Joe Duffy came by to check the work's completion. I was quite satisfied with the work and the professionalism of Joe Duffy and his crew.

Mr. Duffy returned our call immediately and scheduled a date to come out and provide an estimate. He described the entire process and explained that they would be responsible for the post-removal inspection. His estimate was lower than the other estimate we received, and we hired him for the job. He arrived on time, worked efficiently and had completed the job a couple of hours earlier than anticipated. Mr. Duffy left the basement in pristine condition and, other than the missing asbestos tiles, we would never have known they were there. Overall...dependable, efficient and super-clean. We would recommend this company to family and friends.

When I first called, Mr. Duffy answered the phone (ie, did not have to play telephone tag). We arranged for him to see the job in a couple of days. He e-mailed me a quote later in the day of his visit. He was very thorough in explaining what had to be done. After coordinating with my flooring guy, I scheduled the removal with Mr. Duffy. The removal was accomplished as scheduled and his crew did an outstanding job in my opinion. Mr. Duffy then called me after the removal was completed to make sure that I was satisfied with everything, which, of course, I was. I would certainly use Environmental Solutions again if the need arises!

They came out quickly to make an assessment and give a quote. However, when they gave me a quote, it had somebody else's name and address. Their communication was poor; therefore, I did not go with them. Even if they came out quickly, I still had to email them to get the quote and when I did get the quote, it had somebody else's information on it. I thought that was very unprofessional. I would not use them for another quote in the future.

The contact person was very professional. He came out and took a look at what was needed. They gave the price, they came, they did their work and everything was neatly done. He came back and reinspected the work to make sure it complied and signed all the paper work for the hazard of materials. We were very happy with him. We would certainly hire them back again. We certainly highly recommended him to other people.

He warned me in advance that their jobs start at a minimum of $1500, for two guys, for a day. My job was smaller than that, but Mr Duffey was very helpful, regardless, and patiently answered my questions. They hire an air quality tester who tests their work while they're still set up, and that adds another 200 or so to their price - but worth it for the peace of mind.

They were very responsive, very friendly, and very professional. They were absolutely punctual too. Their work seemed very accurate to me. Everything was fine. There was nothing that I disliked about them, and I have no complaints. I would highly recommend them.

They were really great. They were incredibly thorough. We were not there when they did the work. They would come in and lock the door behind them. They showed up when they said that they would be there and left when they said they would. They finished everything and it was perfectly clean when they left. They did a wonderful job. They were straight up with us the whole time.

They did a very good job. They removed the panelling out of the ceiling. They did the estimate and were very professional. Then did a great job on the work. The price included an inspection and the work done.

Joe Duffy was professional, reliable, responsible, and easy to work with. He is knowledgeable about asbestos removal and related safety issues, paid attention to details, and was honest about the costs and all aspects of the job. The job took about 4 days and the work was well done. We recommend the company highly, and would certainly work with them again.

Mr. Duffy responded quickly to my panic-stricken message that the boiler was kaput and no one would touch it until the asbestos was gone. He told me how to get an emergency waiver to allow the job to begin in less than 10 days. After getting 2 quotes (the other firm came in at $17,000!), I made arrangements over the phone on a Sunday night to start the job Monday. The crew showed up a little late (got lost) but the whole job, including the inspection, was done by about 3:30. Boiler, pipes, and floor were spotless. They were calm and reassuring, so I had the gumption to get on with the boiler replacement.

I work very far from my home so I never met the employee I was working with in person. We communicated via US mail and on the phone. They were quick, prompt and curteous. They did what they said they would and at the price that was quoted to me. They were very clean and I would have never known they were there if it hadn't been for the siding that was removed which I asked them to do. By the time I got home from work that day the project was completed.

Joe Duffey returned our call (which was made over the weekend) 1st thing Monday morning, although he had tried to returned our call over the weekend, too, but we weren't around. He came over right away, gave us a bid that was significantly less (about $2,000 less) and much more detailed than a competitors, and patiently explained the process to a couple of unit owners who wanted varying degrees of detail on the project. Once we agreed that Environmental Solutions was the company we wanted, Joe arranged a date ASAP. He showed up with his crew right on time (even came over the week before to check on things) and did the job in two days. His crew was wonderful--efficient, professional, friendly and very tidy--everything was left extraordinarily clean. Joe wouldn't even send us a bill until the basement was inspected by an independent organization & we had a cerificate indicating that we were asbestos free. I'd use Joe/ES again in a heartbest--well done, priced and fast! The crew was ace!

Joe responded to our initial contact very quickly and scheduled a time to come by and do a free estimate within a few days. His estimate was not only a little less expensive than a competitor, but he also quickly emailed and mailed a detailed explanation of the work to be done. Joe called the day before the job to confirm all arrangements. He also arrived with the two-person crew on the morning of the work day. The crew members were friendly, did good work and did an especially nice clean up job. Joe called to follow up afterward. There was a minor problem at the end of the job that we resolved quickly. Customer satisfaction was clearly important to Joe.
