I would highly recommend this company for anyone who has to move. they were right on time, extremely professional, friendly and took great care with all my furniture. Everything was wrapped and blanketed. these guys did not stop for a second. I was amazed at how fast they moved all my furniture both out and in of my home(s) .... six hours TOTAL!. They even set up my washer and dryer for me!! just all the little extras I did not expect. Their price was extremely reasonable as well. They moved my dad two weeks prior to moving me, and he had the same experience as I did. We had different crews handling our moves so that tells me that this is the way the whole company runs and not just one specific crew. Use them and you will not be disappointed!

It went perfectly. I was very impressed with Nick's knowledge of moving and handling antique furniture and pianos. You can feel very confident of his leadership and his team. He works with his men very nicely, explaining, all along why he does it the way he does it. I'd have them back this afternoon, if there was more moving to be done!

They arrived early, ran to and from the truck, took care to protect my furniture and put everything where it needed to be. What more can you ask for??

It went really great. The guys were friendly and personable and they were very patient with our 6.5 year old son who wanted to help carry items on and off the truck. They clearly take pride in their work and strive to satisfy their customer's needs. We would definitely hire them again.

Fast and efficient. Moved a 7 room house across town in 5-1/2 hours. They showed up on time and never stopped moving for the whole time. They wrapped everything well and handled it carefully. We will be using them again next week when we move into my dad's former home.

Very accommodating during several delays before the move finally took place. Moved from a second floor apartment into a basement living space which was not the easiest of moves. Ron, Todd, and Luigi arrived on time and set to work immediately keeping up the pace throughout the process. Took extreme care with wrapping and protecting furniture and were extremely pleasant to work with .No time was wasted but good care was taken. Highly recommend as this company definitely lived up to the prior rave reviews they have received. Price was very reasonable for the service provided.

Nick provided me with a quick estimate and answered the phone each time I called. We agreed on a date and he asked me to email him to confirm the details. I sent him an email with the details of my move (how many rooms, date) and also asked for proof of insurance (a Certificate of Insurance listing us as an additional insured). He responded and said that he would be unable to help me because it costs too much to list us as an additional insured on the policy. This is a huge red flag that he is not actually insured. Any reputable contractor should be willing and able to provide the requested proof of insurance. I am concerned that he is not carrying either Workers Comp or Liability or both. Both types of coverage are needed for moving in case one of the workers is injured or damages something.

FANTASTIC! They showed up on time (EARLY even), ready to work. They were fast, friendly, and polite. They very quickly and efficiently loaded the truck. They even went through my condo to make sure I left nothing behind. They then brought everything up to my third floor apartment and put it all back together. They helped me figure out the best way to structure furniture and I noticed after they left they even hooked the tvs up for me. The best movers I have and will most likely ever use. They also do long distance moves and as there may be one in my future, I will use them. I HIGHLY recommend Nick and his team. Their prices are way more than fair (less than half of what I was quoted by other movers), and his staff was friendly and professional and incredibly polite. Hire them. You won't regret it.

NES Movers is a very good moving company and did their job extremely well from beginning to end, NES pricing was very reasonable for a local move. The time charged is the time of arrival at your home until moving was completed at the new home. Other movers included travel time to your home and/or returning to their company after the move. They check the day before the move to make sure of any last minute changes, They came on time and did not waste time loading or unloading the truck, The employees were careful in moving the furniture and notifying you if they saw damaged furniture prior to moving it. They disassembled dining table and bedroom dresser to get them out the door then reassembled them at the new residence, A valuable, large antique hutch was bubbled wrap then blanketed and placed in the rear of the truck for the best protection. It survived without a scratch. This company knows their business with excellent results.

Perfectly. They did a 2 hour job in about 50 minutes, and then assembled all the furniture too.

They arrived at 7:00am and were done by noon with a house full of stuff. It was the fastest and most professional move I have ever seen.

Nick and his crew unloaded two fully packed PODS for me. His team was unbelievable. Positive attitude, fast work, exceptional knowledge of how to move difficult items. I am not exaggerating when I say his team was unbelievable. I highly recommend Nick and his team for any kind of moving. I would use him again in a second.

Nick and Ron arrived 30 minuites ahead of schedule but waited patiently as I completed other tasks. They were very polite and a pleasure to work with. I walked them through the list of items to be moved and where it was to be moved to in the house. Nick explained the process and what the insurance covered and got my ok proir to doing any work. They went right to work and moved two couches multiple floors, chairs and ottomans. They did a great job, Absolutely no issues and look forward to using them again!

I've used NES Movers twice, both for moving all furniture out of the first floor of my home and then back in after putting down new hardwood floors. Nick was very professional and easy to deal with, the prices were quite reasonable, and the guys he sent (Jeff and Logan) were so careful and professional I requested them for the return engagement. They even worked with me and helped me while I reinstalled the water to my refrigerator and washer/dryer, and gave me some helpful tips on how to prep for the move back in (as the new hardwoods needed special care). Both moves went off flawlessly, in large part to them! If I need to move anything in the future, NES Movers is my first and only call. Fantastic, could not recommend them more highly.

They did an excellent job with no complaints on our part and were very personable. We moved within Barre, Massachusetts, less than 3 miles. We moved from a 3 bedroom cape, just myself and my wife.

The movers showed up right on time, and the move went smoothly. There was a large snow storm happening in the afternoon, and the movers put it into high gear to finish getting everything into my new house before the weather got really bad. I was very impressed with the help offered by Nick and the professionalism and quality of the movers.

I've always moved myself before, and few years when I was younger, I would literally move every year or two as I could afford a better place, so I've had a ton of practice and I am pretty good at it. But after having a baby two weeks ago, and getting ready to close on two houses on the same day so shortly after having the baby, I realized it might be better to let the professionals handle it this time. Nick and Jay showed up 20 minutes early, and after a brief walk around, dove into the work. We have a metric crap-ton of kitchen stuff (Thanksgiving and Christmas are always at our house) so we have service for an army and tons of glassware and kitchen tools. Nick decided to tackle the kitchen while Jay did the whole rest of the house, and they finished around the same time. Nothing was damaged and they worked through everything quickly and efficiently. I ended up helping Jay empty the attic and we blasted through it in no time flat. Both guys were super efficient and personable.

So i had a couch delivered and missed fitting up the stairs by inches. Needless to say i was pretty disappointed. So i gave NES a call to see if they could help me out. They where here within the hour!!!!! Very professional and personable group of guys. Everything went off without a hitch and not a scratch on anything. These guys know what they are doing and are doing!! Def would recommend them to anyone!!

This was the smoothest move I ever made and I credit that mostly to the great guys at NES. I was a bit nervous at first because their rates were so low and they were a bit more informal in their interactions, but I need not have worried. They arrived right on time and had a truck that was large enough for everything I needed and then some. The cost covered 3 guys, but we had an extra who was in training and was also fantastic. The guys worked together well, really knew their stuff, and took amazing care with everything they did. My boyfriend had a bit more time on his lease, so his place was not as "move ready," but the team was great and constantly offered to do more to help him pack up, or wrap unwieldy items that we thought we would need to take independently. I was pretty stressed, but Nick was very entertaining in conversation and even offered up bits of "mover trivia" to help make the whole experience more pleasant. The team was so professional and in control the whole time, they put my mind at ease. Without hesitation, I will be hiring them for any future moves and I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone on the lookout for movers. Who would have thought: very reasonable rates, excellent service, and you get to help a smaller business succeed. BELIEVE IT!

They arrived on time (actually a bit early!). The estimation was for about 4-5 hours while they actually done within 3.5 hours. By 11AM they finished the job. We've been served by one of the Nicks (apparently there are few of them :), Tod and Jerome. They where polite, careful. They were responsive to our asks and comments. Overall we were highly satisfied. They made our moving experience easy and less stressful.

It took them approximately 5 hours to move us. Nick is the owner and he was there with the team. He brought 3 guys with him for a total of 4 people. He is very high energy and the people moved very quickly and efficiently. Very effective service.

Right from the start things went smoothly with NES. We had three movers, Louis, Nick and Nick. All three were extremely professional and personable. They arrived promptly at agreed upon time and got right to work. The one bedroom condo was completely packed in the truck within an hour. From there they dropped some items at our house and moved very quickly and efficiently. Then we went to the assisted living facility and upon arrival found out that the elevator was broken. Louis and the two Nicks did not miss a beat.....they climbed the stairs without hesitation and completed the job within the 3 hour minimum. I can not say enough about these guys. I would hire them again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone. If you are considering hiring NES do not hesitate. They are fantastic!!!

Nick Ramos responded right away to my initial inquiry for his services. We firmed up the date and hourly cost for his services via email. On the date of the move Nick and his crew arrived right on time, they moved my possessions with care and had all the necessary tools to set up the antique headboards and footboards for my beds. Nick and his crew were extremely courteous throughout the process and offered to move my furniture if i decided the initial placement was not where I wanted the pieces to go. Once they had completed my move they offered to assemble the new barbeque grill and outdoor umbrella. I was thrilled to have this taken care of. I would use their services again and highly recommend them to others.

NES was great for us. They moved all of our furniture out of our old house, stored it for one month and then moved it into our new house. After I told Nick how much furniture I had to move, he gave me his hourly rate and a very rough idea of how many hours. He gave me a few dates in the time frame that I wanted to move. The three man team showed up right on time. They kindly introduced themselves and asked me to show them around. These guys are hardworking. They got to work quickly. They took what needed to be taken apart. They very carefully wrapped the furniture as well as padding it on the truck. We were impressed with how they packed the truck like a jig saw puzzle. They moved most of our bulky and heavy items. They also move most of our kitchen items. We were able to move and store some of our personal items at a relative?s house. But we still managed to fill their truck. It took them about 3 hours to load the truck. It seems to take them about 3 hrs to load or unload a full truck. After storing everything for a month, they showed up on the agree date, after a couple of changes. We ended up getting in the house a week early. Actually they arrive 1hr early; we had just got there ourselves. They placed everything right where we wanted it. They were happy to move it around after we figured out it was in the wrong spot. They put all the furniture back together they took apart. They were very careful with our furniture as we could not find an additional scratch. What a great job they did! I would highly recommend these guys for moving. They were great. I wish everyone I deal with was a master of their craft like these guys.

NES is what every service company should use as a model. These men not only did an excellent job moving us but, like many other reviewers have stated, they went above and beyond our expectations at a price that was very competitive. First, they gave us the choice of using a 2 man team or a three man team after explaining the advantages of both. We went with their recommendation to use a 3 man team and boy they were on the money with that suggestion. They arrived early with a 3 man team. They introduced themselves and then asked us to show them around so they could plan accordingly. They were careful with every item and everything was moved in perfect condition with not a scratch on it. Not only did they take apart our bed, sofa, washer, dryer etc and put everything back together perfectly, they also asked if we wanted them to fix our sofa which had a broken screw previous to the move. We looked at each other and said who are these guys??? We were amazed. After the contracted 3 hours were up, Nick came over and we had a 4th crew member to help speed things up. Please note that the move took longer than planned not because of their estimates but because we added onto the job and asked them to move items that were not previously discussed. They did such a wonderful job we recommended them to my daughter to use for her move in the Boston area. Her results were the same as ours and she has been just raving about them to us. I cannot recommend these guys enough! Not only are they great at what they do, very professional and they are very nice guys. You will not go wrong using them.
