NES Movers

These guys were amazing and totally saved me in a tough situation. I'd received a tip from a friend that it's much cheaper to hire movers to load and unload a truck (and then drive the truck myself) rather than hire several movers plus their truck for the day. This is definitely true, and NES was the cheapest price I found for the loading and unloading. They were great on the phone and very responsive. However, on the day of the move, I got very ill and felt really nervous about driving the truck. I explained the situation to them, and they came up with this solution: they would load up the truck I'd rented and drive it to MA, while I could follow behind driving their personal car. Once they unloaded my stuff in MA, they even drove the truck to return it to UHaul and then dropped me back off at my apt. Overall they were kind, courteous, and made me feel so much better on a really stressful day. They also did all kinds of awesome mover-man things like handing my couch and bed over the second floor balcony, etc. It would have been easy to overcharge me since I was so sick I would have written a check for any amount just to make it all better, but they were very transparent about the pricing and very reasonable. There was some minor damage to the hallway of my new apartment after they left, but I was so relieved by how smoothly the whole thing had gone that I barely noticed. These folks are kind, honest, hard-working and affordable. I highly recommend them.

If you need movers, look no further. These guys are nice, friendly, and experienced, careful movers. Your furniture is in good hands with them and they are the kind of people that you would want in your home. I will definitely call them again if I ever have anything to move. I wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

I found NES Movers via Angie's List, and selected them because they had such great reviews. They were available for the dates I needed and after a quick and professional review of what I wanted moved, we agreed on a date, time and an estimated price. On the day of the move, Nick and 2 other guys arrived right on time. They had everything carefully packed into the truck in record time, and then it was off for the 75 mile drive to my new house. Once there, it was a quick move into the new place. At all times, Nick and crew were professional, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Nick and his crew were efficient, professional and fast. I had not finished packing everything and they helped me to finish along with loading all the furniture in the truck. It happened all in one day (pack, 3 hour drive, unpack, 3 hour drive home). I was exhausted but Nick was like the energizer bunny! He kept going and going! Thanks for a great move. Sheila

The crew of three arrived on time and got started right away. They took a few minutes to survey the boxes we had packed and our furniture and then started loading the truck. It was a 6 hour exercise with a lot of boxes and furniture and they never took a break or slacked. Even though they were charging by the hour they were picking up 2 - 3 boxes at a time. Nothing broke and everything went in the right place as they were very good about reading the labels on everything. Also disassembled / re-assembled our beds and a crib for us. Highly recommended.

GREAT!!! No need to look for another mover, ever. We will be moving more things from the same address at a later date, and will definitely use NES.

Ron, Nick and Dale appeared at our door exactly at 7 AM as promised. They took a few minutes to talk to us about what they were moving (we had two drop off sites) and then they began wrapping and moving items to their truck. Their attention to detail with appliances (locking the drum on the washing machine) and carefully moving our grandmother clock was beyond expectations. Don't look for another mover, use NES Movers. They are the best!

Overall everything was great. There were absolutely no complaints. They showed up when they said they would. They did the job in the amount of time that they said they would. Everything went really smooth. I would definitely re-hire them. They came in at a very reasonable price.

These guys are great. They arrived cheerful on a 90+ degree Sunday morning and worked wonders. I had a lot of boxes to move from a 3rd floor walk up to another apartment. They worked without stopping and were pleasant and personable throughout. I highly recommend them.

Nick and his associates arrived on time and were very polite and efficient. They moved our items safely and efficiently without damage. They were able to solve a problem concerning an oversized item that would not fit through the stairwell. They were flexible in working with our needs, and surprisingly inexpensive.

Nick Ramos is a great person to work with - traded about 20 emails about the scheduling all promptly answered. Hit a snag with the moving date and looked like I was going to have to work with another company paying a lot more. Nick came very highly recommended to us via Angies List AND a physician at UMass Medical so we were not worried.Nick was able to schedule us in at short notice and teh crew was fantastic - polite but still making the move a bit more fun. The loading and unloading was picture perfect. Went around and stacked boxes in the garage so that we could move around and no stack taller than 3 boxes so we didnt have to lift a bunch to get to the ONE box that you need on Day 4!! Excellent work and great price. Highly recommend in the Worcester area and points east and west

Nick and his team were amazing. The other reviews are completely right. He provided great advice over the phone when we set up the move date (suggesting other supplies we might need and figuring out how many movers we would need). He and two other guys showed up 30 minutes early for the job and got started right away. They were completely professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our belongings and house. Most importantly they did a great job packing our pod. The rows of boxes were extremely neat and they managed to fit everything inside (they packed the pod to the brim). I would definitely recommend their services, either for just packing a storage unit or for a move across town.

It was superb from start to finish.

The guys were all very professional and polite. They were 15 minutes early and worked non stop until our furniture was out of the old house and into the new. They put everything where we wanted and even put pads on the bottoms of all of our furniture to avoid scratching our brand new floors. When all was said and done everything went smoothly and we even got a few tips on other areas of home ownership. We would definitely call them again or recommend them to friends!

This is the second time I've used these guys; and they remembered me 3 years later. They showed up right at 7AM and got to work. These guys never slow down, ever. From start to finish they are full throttle. For the 3 guys they had a 3 hour minimum charge, and got done with everything in just over 2 hours. Nick then asked me what we wanted him and his guys to do, as we were paying for another hour. They offered to mow the lawn, hang art, etc. The whole time they were working they were joking with us and carrying conversation without slowing down at all. Very friendly and courteous service from this crew. I made sure to get a handful of Nick's business cards to hand them out like candy to any of our friends that are moving.

My company was in need of a mover to move our office to a new location. After reviewing movers that fit our need, I selected NES. Nick came over the same day when I contacted him to give us an estimate. We set a date and I started to pack up our equipment and office supplies. We agreed that NES would start @ 7:00 AM per Nick's request. At 7:30 AM, no one had showed up. I called Nick and he had mistakenly put my move on another day. He apologized over and over and rounded up a crew and was onsite within the hour. The guys were great and packed up our things with care. Nick Followed up with a phone call between the move to apologized again. The move went with out any further issues. Overall, they were very good and I would continue to use NES with any further moves.

NES Movers (Nick & Todd) were beyond fantastic and worth every penny! We had a snafu with the closings of the house we were selling and the one we were buying. The movers we had hired to remove & store our belongings were completely booked the week we moved and could only deliver on the day we had originally scheduled - but we hadn't closed on the new house yet. We were able to get the sellers to allow us garage access to get our stuff delivered, but that was it. So 3 days later when we finally closed and had access we needed help getting everything we owned (and I mean EVERYTHING) into all the rooms it needed to go to. I had looked online for moving labor and had seen many reviews for NES - and the reviews were all wonderful and numerous. And their rates were great compared to other movers. So at 4PM on a Thursday I asked for 2 guys for 9:00 the next morning - and they accepted. That afternoon that I booked them I spoke with Nick on the phone regarding specifics of the belongings, the house etc., and he said they would be here 9:30-10:00 in the morning. They arrived promptly at 9:00 and not 9:30 and were ready to go. And we could not have asked for better help - they were incredible. They worked hard, they were very careful with every single item they touched, they planned the lugging of every large item before they even touched it (discussing turns, stairs, approach, etc.), and they were professional, polite and easy to communicate with. They worked great as a team and took great care of our stuff and were sure to ask our wishes for location, etc. for all of it. All of the rave reviews I had read were spot on and their time was just about the best investment we made for this move. All of the belongings of our family of 4 was just too much for us to take care of ourselves, and having them here to take it all from the garage to all of the rooms in our house was a lifesaver. In the end we had them here for a total of 4 hours as we asked them to stay longer to help unload a UHAUL of belongings we had from a storage as well. Payment verification for the extra time was easily handled over the phone, and that combined with the ease of booking online made this an easy process from start to finish. We would recommend NES to anyone looking for moving labor - you will not be disappointed! Although we did not require their services for the moving of our belongings with their truck, I suspect that the amount of care, professionalism, and hard would easily show in any other work they perform as well.

Stop looking and hire them now! We originally hired J & J Movers from Craigslist for a Sunday move at 2 pm and they called us at 2:10pm to tell us their truck " broke down" and that they would need to reschedule (if this were true, wouldn't they have known before then?). So, we found NES Movers and called them to ask if they could do the job, to our utter amazement the owner, Nick, and his crew were at our condo within 90 minutes!!! They were fantastic, clean cut, professional, strong as can be, fully insured with all new equipment, materials, all of this and they were super fast, efficient and extremely fair priced. We would highly recommend NES Movers for your next move, big or small, we will definitely use Nick and his team again, they were awesome (and very nice guys to boot)!!!

Nick and his crew were very accommodating. The move went smoothly. Nick and his crew worked hard and were very professional. They arrived on time and wanted to make sure I was totally satisfied with their service. Highly recommended.

Had agreement for move conditional of dry weather. The day of the move, the weather was fine in the morning but had a severe weather alert for early afternoon. As mymove was scheduled to begin between 2-3 PM, I called the owner and postponed it. Around 10 AM I gat a call from his driver to confirm the move. I told him that we were already postponing it as I already called. He stated that, "Why, it's not raining..." and when I explained tohim about the severe weather alert he got argumentative and attitudinal. I felt I could not trust them to move my stuff without damage or missing articles...he threw up a trust flag. I told him to contact his boss and tell him that the contract was permanently cancelled. Fly by nite organization...if you want unprofessional and immature kids to do your move, they are probably near the top of the list.

He was fantastic. I live on the third floor and it is really hard to get things in here. They protected everything and they knew what they were doing. They did a fantastic job. They showed my contractor how to put things back together. There were four people who came out to do the job. I would recommend them.

Stop looking for movers and hire these guys. I had hired another set of movers who did not show up so I went on line and I found NES Movers. I called NES at 9:45am and told them that I needed help that same day. They sent out two guys three hours later! NES did a great job. They took care of our things and made what was setting up to be a tough day into a good moving day. My wife and I have moved three times in the past three years so I've hired multiple movers in the past but NES Movers were the best.

We have moved four times in the past two years and this was the best experience we had by far. Nick and his crew, Nick and Lewis, were extremely professional and careful with our items. Their price was very fair and they did a fantastic job. When we got to our new location, which was on the second floor, we realized that several pieces of our furniture would not fit up the stairwell. Nick told us he could hoist it through a window, and came back and did so a few days later (he couldn't do it on the spot due to not having brought the proper equipment), saving us having to get new furniture. They also hooked up our washer and dryer. I can't say enough good things about these guys, they were terrific. Highest possible recommendation.

The guys at NES movers took a last minute reservation (on a Sunday) without hesitation. The 3 guys showed up with a huge truck and had everything into the house in 3 hours. For $300 this isn't white glove service...but they did a very good job and I would certainly use them again.

It was great! I have already been telling anyone who will listen what a great experience I had with this crew. The flat rate worked well. I appreciated not being nickeled and dimed for every little thing. I would use these guy again!! Nick called the night of the job to make sure I was happy with the work. Thanks Nick!
