Phoned and left messages at two different numbers. Even emailed details of work to be done to his email address and texted to his cell as requested in his voice mail message. Took several attempts before he returned my call. We set a time/date for estimate. I called two days before to confirm and asked to return my call. No call. He never showed up. 9-5-14, called, texted, emailed 9-9-14, called him back. Spoke, will call me back to schedule time for estimate 9-9-14 texted me back saying sorry, couldn't call would call me next morning 9-1-14 still no call. text him back was still waiting on his call. 9-14-14, called me. Set up estimate for Tues. 9-16 9-16-14, texted in morning to confirm, no response. 9-14-14, called him at 3:30, left message asked to call me back. 9-16-14, texted him at 11 am asking to confirm because I had to leave work early 9-16-14, left work to meet him at my home for estimate. DID NOT SHOW UP 9-16-14, 6:30pm got a text from him asking to reschedule.

Chris demo'd the existing tile around the bath tub, installed cement board, installed new plumbing fixtures and installed new tile throughout the demo'd area.? . This house was built in the 20's so you can just imagine. Chris showed up on time and according to my tenant, he kept the work area very clean and he and his assistant were meticulous.? The bathroom looks GREAT.? I would (oh wait...I will) use Central Mass Handyman again.

Chris was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us define the scope of our minor to more major repairs and projects. We didn't want to spend a lot, and he helped us understand how our money would be best spent. He and his team not only did good work and were very diligent and neat, they also were very pleasant and polite. We are very happy with all the work he did to get our house show ready. Our realtor was really impressed with what we had done in such a short time. We couldn't have done it without Chris. He had to squeeze a few odds and ends in beyond the originally scheduled project days, and he managed to do so despite his busy schedule. We are very thankful. Because he is so busy, getting in touch can be a bit difficult, but I think they provide a great value and services. We definitely will hire him again when we need something done in our new home! Highly recommended!

Chris came to my house to provide kitchen, bathroom and attic remodeling work. He promised to get back to me with estimates via email in few days. I left him several voice mails and sent him email as reminder. Fast forward more than a month and he still hasn't replied. I would be okay if he had replied saying he is busy and can't send an estimate. No idea why he would waste his time and mine if he can't even provide an estimate.

Their price is good and they are easy to deal with.

Chris did a great job on our second floor! We highly recommend him for any job whether it is big or small. He is professional, skilled, neat, and reasonable, and trustworthy. We are going to hire him again to remodel our first floor bathroom. He exceeded our expectations for our second floor and came up with great ideas. We are very very happy with Chris and his company!

Initially hired Chris to remodel my bathroom. I was so impressed with his work ethic and integrity that I expanded the project to the kitchen as well. Chris not only does great work, but it's his ability to get so much done in such a short timeframe. He's also a wealth of knowledge and made numerous suggestions that made the final result even better than I'd anticipated. My new kitchen and bathroom look amazing. I feel very lucky to have found him and will be using him again in the future.

It did not go. Never go the service and they still have my money.

I bought this deal sometime back I believe in Aug/Sept. I was not contacted by the handyman within the 48 hours promised by Angies' list. I ended up calling them myself. She told me the deal had been advertised long after it was supposed to be and to call angle's list and get a refund because they would not be able to get to my job until Oct/Nov. After a few days of thinking about it, I called the wife back and let her know I was fine with waiting. And to just keep me updated. A short while later she contacted me on email and told me the same thing not realizing that I was the same person she just spoke to. To this day, she is still under this confusion and every time we have spoken seems to be confused as to what is going on. I still decided to see how it would work out with her husband. He finally came her over a week ago to check out the job. Told me he would be able to get to it this week. I asked him for an estimate since he told me it would be over the money I spent on the deal- which I was expecting. I have not heard back from him. In the meantime, I got another message on Angie's list from his wife apologizing for not contacting me because she had been in the hospital. And they were still backed up. I told her that her husband had just been here and I was just waiting for the estimate. She told me she would followed up and I have yet to hear from either of them. The lack of organization is just not inspiring my confidence. I would prefer to have my money back before he even starts my job. He seems like a very nice man but I am not comfortable with the way that they do things. Any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Chris was responsive to my phone inquiry and scheduled a prompt appointment. He provided a price of $5,000.00 for the job, which seemed high to me; but, I thought maybe there is something I'm missing. I requested over and over again a copy of a breakdown of the labor and materials costs (I had purchased all supplies already so I wanted how his labor cost was calculated). He never responded leaving doubt in my mind about his reliability and veracity.

1) I paid $89.00 for a burner service. This particular company called me right away. It turned out that they only service gas furnaces. 2)The second payment was for $1000.00 for 80 hours of maintenance. I was told to call the repairman Chris to whom I left two voice messages. I never heard back from him. I hired someone else to do the job.

He made a lot of mistake while drilling so there we're extra holes. Over the few months since the work was done, some of it has already had to be redone. He chewed tabacco and spit it in an empty coke bottle. Pretty gross.

Overall I was very satisfied with Chris's work. He workd for ten hours and got the whole projected completed in one day which means he worked pretty much non-stop

Contacted him to have some work done and purchased the things he said he would need. He came to the house and told me it would be about a month. I thought he would contact me when he was ready. About a month after that I contacted his wife via email and she said she would let me know after she spoke with him and I still haven't heard anything.

I called Central Mass Handyman June 10th and spoke with Tracy (Office Mgr/Wife), she was pleasant and asked if I could take a series of photos of the house and she would check with Chris (Handyman/husband) and get back to me. June 17th Tracy responded that Chris would need to come over and take a look to see if he could do the job for the amount I was looking to spend. We scheduled for the evening of June 18th. Chris came by on time, he was knowledgable and easy to talk with. We discussed the job, he made paint quantity and quality suggestions and let me know who to contact at Sherwin Williams (the paint I was choosing) to get his contractor discount. Chris was going to prep and paint my house and trim for 40 hours of labor totaling $2000 and I would supply the paint. Needless to say, I asked at least two times for a quote for my lender and to just get a general time frame of when in August they were thinking that work could get done. All correspondence with Tracy was with regards to having the work done in August so I planned my financing around that premise. July 14th Tracy informed me that Chris would be at my house on Wednesday (July 17) to paint the house. I let her know that the date wouldn't work for me due to the fact that I had roofers coming that day and that I didn't have the money to paint at that time (I had 75%, would have had remaining in August as planned) . The reply I received basically accused me of cancelling on them and leaving them with no work on that Wednesday and stating that if I wanted to book in September I would have to pay half upfront. I took offense to cancelling a scheduled day we'd never discussed and then being asked to pay half in advance when I felt Tracy was not being responsive regarding a date of service. While I initially felt Tracy was pleasant and all my interactions outside of the last one were pleasant, I think they need to work on their scheduling. Chris seems to know what he is doing and I was looking forward to having him work on another project if this had gone well. UPDATE: Chris called me to apologize for confusion about the timing and agreement we had. He offered to do the work in early August and even made a payment agreement with me to pay a small amount at the end of the month. Chris and his crew were at the house between 7:30 and 8 all week. The house was power washed and minimally scrapped, then the main color was sprayed on and the trim, garage and patio were hand painted. I was able to point out some areas that needed some retouch and Chris was great about me making some color change choices. Overall the area was cleaned, but Chris did point out that time may make it hard for him to clean up as well as he might normally. I was okay with that and cleaned a little bit of paint, but a majority was cleaned by Chris and his crew. The price was extremely good, and I am overall happy with the outcome. I wish I could have paid more to have some more prep done and a second coat of paint, but for the price I paid I definately got my moneys worth. I will consider Chris in the future for work when his schedule is less busy.

It went great he got more done than I expected. He lee exactly what to do and the work looked good. They cleaned up after themselves. I was pleased with them and would definitely use the again.

They put a couple of shingles in for me and patched and repaired certain holes and stuff like that. They did several jobs around the apartment building that I am selling.

We contacted Chris earlier this spring; he gave us some insightful recommendations on where to get the cabinets, suggestions on countertops and placement of appliances. We determined the time frame well in advance so we could schedule time off from work during the project. When we started to get closer to the date we realized that some of the changes to the kitchen resulted in a bigger scope of the project. We now needed plumbers, electricians and inspectors coordinated, rather than replacing just the cabinets and countertops. Even with the change in scope Chris took it all in stride and what initially was to be a 4 day project, stretched over a two week time frame. He was very accommodating with random requests from plumbers and electricians. Chris was polite and professional, his work was fantastic! For those reviews that grade him lower because of poor communication, I did not have any problem. He was very responsive to any texts or calls that I placed. I wish there was a way to post pictures on here as my new kitchen is gorgeous thanks to Chris! I will/and have recommended him to others. We have another to-do list building and will be scheduling a time for Chris to come out again.

Chris was very busy with outdoor work over the summer, but recommended that I keep in touch with him to complete the work on a rainy day, since ours was only a one-day job. He was very responsive, and, after a few rainy days, we successfully scheduled time. Chris showed up exactly when he said he would and did a great job. The work took about 2 hours longer than he estimated, but he only charged us for the amount of the original estimate. He did very good work, was very honest and forthright, and was extremely reliable. It's sometimes tough to get somebody to come help with the smaller jobs, so we were very pleased with finding someone skilled and trustworthy. We would definitely use Chris again.

Excellent work! We now have a beautiful, luxurious bathroom! It makes me happy everytime I use it now. We initially found Chris on Angie's List from the excellent reviews. He fixed a hole in our ceiling left after a roof leak. He did a quick, affordable and excellent job with that so we called him back to renovate our bathroom a few months later. Our condo is very old so has very uneven walls and floors. He did an amazing job with working around these difficulties. He also modified our homemade vanity so our current plumbing would work with it and we would not have to turn off the whole building's water. He renovated the entire bathroom in 4 days and everything looks perfect. He does high quality work and he is great to work with. Very personable and willing to work around our crazy schedules. He also texts which makes getting in touch with him very easy! We plan on calling him back in the fall to renovate our kitchen and adding a laundry room eventually.

I had a feeling this was a fly by night unprofessional business when I called (508) 335-7253 and the out going voice message I heard was a womans voice screaming into the phone to the point it was distorted "Hi this is Tracy leave your number". I called back a few times because I though I incorrectly dialed but it was the correct number and apparently Tracy is the customer contact. I left numerous messages requesting a call back between May 21 and May 30 and I also emailed by going to their web site. I received no return call or return email. What kind of business provides an outgoing message that does not identify the business that your calling and screams into the phone? What kind of business wastes your time by not returning your phone messages or email.....I submit a business you probably don't want to get involved with. Perhaps they are no longer in business and Angie need to clean up her list.

Overall everything went extremely smoothly - from the transactions/contact I had with his office to the finalization of the job. I found him, his office staff and his work crew to be very pleasant, professional and extremely helpful. I plan on using him again for more jobs and have already passed his name on some of my friends who have been looking for someone to do work for them. His estimate was right on target and was quite reasonable.

Work was done well without problems. Only slight negative is that he had to reschedule due to another job, but was easy to work with to find a suitable time.

The work went very well, they were a very professional crew that came in and did the things that I had asked. The soffit install was a difficult job and the only thing I may have done differently would be to start in the back of the house to work out the learning curve before moving to the front.
