I found Chris on Angie's list and read the rave reviews, so I decided to meet and speak with him. I did some research prior (on kitchen remodels) and actually interviewed three other contractors as well. I knew as soon as we spoke Chris was the one. I felt very comfortable, as if I knew him for years. We gutted the kitchen ourselves and Chris actually made a lot of recommendations along the way. He advised us how to do it the proper way. I also asked him a lot of questions throughout the whole process and he had no problem answering them and giving his opinion. He’s very knowledgeable and gave a lot of helpful advice. I felt so comfortable that I even gave him a key to my house, while I was at work. Chris really went above and beyond the call of duty. I was not able to take short notice time off from work to meet the countertop company for the template and installation. He took the time out of his own schedule to meet them at my house and took care of it, amongst other things. I can’t praise Chris enough for the service/work he provided. Chris’s main goal at the end of the day is to make sure the customer is happy. His work, professionalism and customer service is outstanding, which is very hard to find these days. I will definitely hire him again for any home improvement needs, as well as recommending him. Thank you Chris!

Initially it was little tough on schedule to get start time of the project. Chris was busy and we fully understand his commitments. Once the job has started Chris was on-time until the project got finished. We liked the professionalism and commitment Chris and team showed on the project. Chris was very detailed oriented and kept us informed on every phase of his work. Chris and his team did wonderful job on remodeling our kitchen. We like Chris work and would definitely hire him for any future needs.

Great! We love working with Chris. He does a great job and is very easy to work with. He's busy, so we were lucky to fit into his schedule. But Chris went out of his way to find time for us. This is the second time we've hired Chris. We will be hiring him again soon.

Father and son duo put me at ease once I saw how nicely they worked together. Nice people who then did a nice job. Mr Brusa was kind enough to give me advice on future projects.

Several unforeseen issues-had to replace cement board walls in Kitchen to remove dirty brick; Electric wiring had to be replaced to bring up to code. Bathroom subfloor had rotted due to previous leaking. All was discussed with options before proceeding. Very helpful with both initial plans and in making decisions along the way. I now have a beautiful kitchen, with much more room, counter and cabinet space and it's beautiful! Everyone is amazed that it's the same room. Also the bathroom is lovely. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We will be using his services for more projects!

We moved into a house where problems in the master bath had been "fixed" with a set of temporary solutions including a drop ceiling installed over flaking paint and old wall paper. Our shower had a small leak and the wallboard around it was damp. No fan had ever been installed in the bathroom so there was a moisture issue. The fixes were unattractive and they themselves now needed to be fixed. Chris was great to work with. He and his son completed the work in 4 days. Chris gave us a very fair bid, less than other estimates we obtained, and clearly explained what he would do and how he would do it. He fit us into his schedule, even though were a bit delayed in getting back to him with a decision. The quality of Chris's work was high and we were really pleased. He worked quickly and took care to make sure that the work area was cleaned up at the end of the day. The bathroom looks great - tile, paint, new ceiling - everything. We love it. We will definitely work with Chris again and highly recommend him to anyone.

It went absolutely fantastic. He was extremely professional and courteous. Chris always arrived when he said he would so there was never any worries of trying to track him down with phone calls or worry that he would not show up. He did an outstanding job. Chris handles tasks quickly because when he begins a project he doesn't take other calls. I have found Chris to be very price competitive and for this reason the customer should have some flexibility when unanticipated items affect the project (especially in older homes). Every project is different and I have found that patience pays off. As with many contractors it may be best to call early morning or early evening to arrange an appointment.

Chris was very busy and sometimes a bit difficult to get hold of. That said, he is easy to work with and performed the above mentioned jobs very well. I have no complaints at all with the quality of his work. I would use him again without hesitation.

Great job....it did get pretty scuffed up by the plow this winter which I was surprsed by.

To be honest, everything went much better than I anticipated. I've had Chris do work for me in the past when he gutted one bathroom and renovated the other. They are exquisitely done. Chris is always there when he says he will be. I also find that he pays attention to small details. Another thing I like is that he cleans up after himself and leaves the place really neat during projects. Everything is done to perfection and I am now looking forward to having him do my kitchen renovation next. He does everything with excellence.

Provider finally called and apologized for calling me back after 3 weeks of my inquiry. I explained a project that I need assistance with and we scheduled a time to meet at the project to review. He did not show, no call or text just did not show.

He worked hourly. He was slow though. He did a godo job but he was pretty slow. He took his time to eat lunch which was included in his paid time. I was expecting the work to be done in couple of hours but the job took him almost a day!

He is basically an idiot. He thinks that "talking" will solve the need for an itemized bill. I am about to bring very comprehensive legal action down on him. I can provide the date and times I contacted him and requested the itemized bill for a period of 3 months.

I emailed on Monday, June 29th, per the provider's request when I called the number and caught him while driving. I immediately emailed details of the project we needed help with, and as of Thursday, June 2nd, no response. How long is an acceptable time to wait for a return email to give a prospective customer some kind of answer, whether the job is wanted or not? I know if I waited three days to call my clients back, I'd be unemployed.

Left message on phone with a laundry list of services needed. Three days ago...no response from Central Mass Handyman

It went great! Chris did an amazing job on everything. We had a laundry list of small things that needed to get done and a few bigger projects. He took the time to look through everything and get the entire list completed. Also, we had a very unique finishing job around 2 sky lights that had been unfinished for years. Chris was very creative and gave us a solution that we couldn't be happier with.

I am in the process of getting a home I rent ready for sale.? The tile around the bathtub was old and cracked allowing water to seep through creating mold.? Chris was able to do the job immediately.? He bought tile to match the floor and the tub.? While he was there, he did a few other things that were needed in the bathroom.? I had excellent communication with him and would definitely have him do work for me again in the future.

I called Angie's List to get referrals for snow removal and one they gave me was for Central Mass Handyman. I called Christopher and explained that I am disabled and after getting hit with a blizzard of 33 inches of snow and snow drifts of 3-5 feel that I needed snow removed and to be able to get my car out. At a moments noticed he rearranged his schedule to come out and help me. He arrived with a snow blower and found my car under the snow and carefully carved out my car and removed all the snow from it then got it onto the street. He carved out a path and then removed the snow from the back of my house. The whole job only took him about 1 hour. He was very friendly and did an excellent job. After he was done getting my car out and clearing the snow he came into my house to look at a few home improvements and construction that I need done around my home. He is coming back out next week to give me estimates on the work I want done on my house. It is very important for me being disable to know that he will come out to help me at just a moments notice. After he was done working my neighbors came over to see how I got so much work done and I referred him to my neighbors. The price he charged for all the work he did was very reasonable.

Chris and crew were completely professional.? They arrived when they said they would and worked diligently and quickly.? I was amazed and quite pleased that they were excellent in cleaning up after themselves.? I am so happy with the work done that I am having him back to do more renovations around the house.? I have also passed his name along to all of my friends/co-workers who are looking for someone who is not only good at what he does but is also trust-worthy and professional.? What I also liked -- as a single woman, Chris made suggestions about things I wasn't sure of and kept costs down for me without skimping on quality.? His rate was right on target with the estimate given.
