Description of Work: They were not able to schedule my work as requested, but did reply to my communications quickly and professionally. I gave this provider a 'B' because I purchased a work deal from their page and they were not able to schedule the work for a few months.

Description of Work: I purchased the Angie's List deal (before its expiration) for $500 for 10 hours of labor. Of course, I understand that if 2 people are working together, then they would each put in 5 hours. When I emailed the provider to set up a time, Tracy was very prompt in responding but told me the deal posted deal was not written correctly and had expired. She suggested that I cancel with Angie's List, and/or that Chris could come out and give us an estimate but that he is booked up through August. Our emails were cordial, and I don't have any service complaints. However, I was concerned about the indication that the posted deal was incorrect or expired, it looked valid to me when I purchased it. I would have proceeded with having Chris come out for an estimate, but with him being busy until August, this will not meet my needs for the job. Tracy was easy to email with. I will be happy to give this provider a try again later. Thank you

Description of Work: Chris was very responsive and my work was scheduled promptly. Chris came to my home to review the work to be completed. I had a number of projects to be done. He was able to help me prioritize the work and went with me to pick up the materials needed.. He transported everything in his truck which saved me a number of trips for materials. Chris arrived promptly and both he and David worked continuously taking only a short lunch break. I was very impressed with their work ethic. Chris and his assistant David worked 2 days / 10 hours + each day. They were able to stain my shed and glider, sanded and painted my bulkhead and surrounding wooden structure. He installed a pergo floor and did trim work and painting of a recently completed room. Chris removed existing grouting in a bathroom and regrouted the floor and finally performed repairs to a leaking pipe and repaired 2 wall areas that had experienced water damage. I found Chris through a response to a "Big Deal". I am extremely pleased with the work that was completed - Chris was very frugal when spending my money on materials, returning excess materials for credit. Chris even showed me how to use an industrial carpet cleaning machine which removed significant staining and helped my avoid the expense of replace the carpeting.We enjoyed a good working relationship, clear communication and the amount of work promised was completed - Chris even spent extra time in order to complete the work we had discussed. He picked up on a few other repairs that needed to be done and completed this work. There were no additional charges for labor for these repairs. His price stood as stated and materials were the only additional cost as agreed upon when we first met.I would highly recommend Chris for any home project and I would happily have him return for additional work should the need arise.

Description of Work: Multiple repairs on an old house, included carpentry - ( he built two exterior banisters, rebuilt doors and ramp to a shed, repaired a rotting edge of the exterioir porch,. He also did outdoor masonry repair - rebuilt brick steps and adjacent loose brocks on the front entrance. He also brought his tall ladders to repair loose boards and replace shingles on an exterior wall. We had a lengthy old fence that had to be taken down and hauled away - he was able to do all this - and now the back yard looks very nice again. Indoors, we had a squirrel problem. He replaced the paneling that a squirrel had eaten through and coordinated with animal control for placement of exit only devies to precent animal entry. Chris was very patient and accomodated all the problems, and finished the work quickly - ahead of schdule. I wish I had known about him last year - a really versatile and skillful handyman / carpenter. -Highly recomended and reinforces the value of Angie's list where I found him
