My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the entire process. Mike, our sales representative at the Attleboro store, guided us in selecting our package and offered great advise. Our installation date was 9/3/21 and we were very anxious because there was a lot of moving parts due to delivery, take away of old appliances, and installation by a plumber & electrician who Mike recommended. We needn't have worried. Everything went like clock work. The delivery & installation and takeaway went as well as could be expected. Everyone was professional and friendly and clearly knew what they were doing. Thank you Lambco.
Description of Work: I purchased an appliance package on 8/28/21 including refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range and over the range microwave.

The Absolute Worst! Please read before shopping at Lambco. I bought a refrigerator from the Attleboro store in August of 2019. First week of July of 2020 the ice maker and water dispenser stop working, so I call Lambco to set up a warranty repair. Kevin, the service manager, tells me they’re busy so the tech won’t be able to come out for a few weeks - we make an appointment for 8/1. The tech comes out 8/1, looks at the fridge for a few minutes and decides the water pump is broken but he doesn’t have one with him, so he’ll have to order it. He warns me that it usually takes a few days but could be longer due to Covid (no problem, I understand). I wait a week and hear nothing, so I call, and Kevin tells me they forgot to order the part, but he’ll order it now… Another week goes by, no status update from Lambco, so I call back and talk with Matt, who puts me on hold for about 8 minutes (which becomes the theme of all my calls going forward) and tells me maybe next week, “they’ll call me” (doesn’t ever happen). I call once a week from 8/1 to 9/2 and I’m told it’s going to be a few more days each time. 9/2/20 (still no call from Lambco) I call again and speak with Matt who tells me Kevin is out, but he’ll have him call me in the morning. I tell Matt that I have yet to receive a call from anyone and that I’d like to talk to a manager. He gets real stern with me and says, “I TOLD YOU I’LL HAVE HIM CALL YOU TOMORROW”. I explain again that I’ve heard this too many times with no call, so I’d like to talk to a manager. Matt now gets very aggressive and condescending and tells me, “FINE, I’LL CALL YOU TOMORROW”. I say that I appreciate that, but I still want to talk to a manager. He refuses to give me the name of a manager and rudely reiterates that he’ll “CALL ME TOMORROW”. At this point I’ve had enough of Lambco, so I call Maytag customer service and they agree to handle the repair going forward and set up an appointment for the next day. Within an hour of hanging up with Maytag the new appliance repair company calls to confirm the appointment and learn about the situation. They let me know that the water pump that Lambco “is still waiting for” wasn’t ever on backorder, and there’s actually 37 in stock at the local supplier right now - and Lambco had to wait a month? This means they’ll be able to fix the problem when they come out the next day (9/3/20). Kevin from Lambco calls me at 8am on 9/3/20 (finally a call back from Lambco!) and tells me the part came in that morning and he can schedule the repair for the following week. I explain that someone was coming to fix it that day and they said the part was readily available, so I won’t have to wait for the repair. Kevin says, “YEAH I MADE IT ALL UP” and hangs up on me (usually this is where the apology goes, but I was hung up on, again). My refrigerator was repaired within 24 hours of calling Maytag (2 months with Lambco), and by the way, the water pump was fine! It was a bad water filter! The new tech replaced the filter and my fridge works perfectly. Lambco was the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered! I hope this review saves someone from the frustration I had to go through.

I hoped to support a local business rather than a big box store, but will not make that mistake again. I wish I could Lambco zero stars. They installed my new washing machine incorrectly, resulting in flooding of my basement the first time the washer was used, resulting in damage to many items throughout the basement. I am disabled and it was extremely difficult and painful for me to do any of the clean up. They were aware of this but unwilling to offer any assistance. They were also unable/unwilling to send a tech to hook up the washer correctly for days because their service man was working on the Cape. (Just ONE service man?!) Even then, they refused to give me a specific time, but wanted to give me a morning or afternoon WINDOW of time; Not acceptable given the circumstances of them being at fault, and considering all the damage done to my belongings and incredible amount of cleanup I had to deal with. You would think they would make at least a LITTLE effort to make things right. They told me ALL service people schedule windows of time and that I was being unreadonable expecting a specific appt time! Their fix when they DID come was to zip tie a longer drain hose to a faucet of a sink for the hose to drain into...making the faucet unusable for much else. During the INITIAL installation, the delivery boys (in no way were they technicians!) left debris in my driveway, asked me to move things while they stood by and watched. (I have no use of one of my hands) they left screws, tape, zip ties, etc strewn all over the floor, and took what seemed to be personal cell phone calls throughout the delivery. They spoke a language other than English throughout the delivery...to each other, on the phone, and laughing all the while. Very disrespectful. The office now won't answer calls about compensation for damages to a rug, a bed headboard and footboard, artwork, etc. from the flooding. They keep putting me on hold and don't come back to the phone or they hsng up!! I've never seen anything like this! My mother scheduled service with them shortly after this issue and her appt was cancelled because their service man quit without notice! Can't blame him! Please read reviews about L ambco appliance on the many sites and apps that have them...there are a LOT of unhappy customers of theirs out there! (Although the owner told me in sll his years of business he's never had such issues)...Online reviews say differently. Save yourself a lot of headaches...listen to the reviews and shop elsewhere.

Response from LAMBCO APPLIANCE SALES & SVC
When purchasing a new appliance, it is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure that the utility connections for the appliance are correct and that there is a clear path for the installers to deliver the new appliance. We understand the frustration you've experienced since purchasing a washing machine, but your summary is inaccurate. Lambco advised you upon initial installation that your drain setup was not standard and that you'd need a plumber to install a standpipe or utility sink. Lambco is not responsible for any water damage. Lambco appreciates the patronage of all our customers and we try our best to provide great service throughout the buying experience. We have knowledgeable sales staff and offer the best prices on everything we sell.

I am glad that I went to this long-standing "Independent". I would definitely buy from them again, and will call them if an appliance needs repair.
Description of Work: I wanted a specific refrigerator model that was on back-order. Lambco's salesman George V got me a great price, and was very helpful in keeping me informed of the item's availability. After delivery, George reminded me about the rebate program that I was eligible for. Lambco's delivery staff was also very professional, careful, and courteous. All around, a great experience.

The first time we had them come out was to diagnose the problem. We were told the heater duct assembly needed to be replaced. That cost us $75. A gentleman named John then informed us the part was back ordered all across the nation and it was going to cost $175. After searching for online I found it for $61 and above. The dryer were 12 for 37 days after I paid $100 for them to come and install the part I ordered. Day 37 the dryer ceased to heat and dry clothes. I called them to come out and install a new part I had ordered with the believe it was the parts issue not the labor. To my surprise the service man told my wife it was a loose wire that hadn't been attached correctly the last time. Unfortunately for us it was over 30 days and we would have to pay. i'll give him credit where credit is due he did reduce the bill to $59 instead of $99. Just blows my mind that the wire that caused our dryer to stop working wasn't reattached correctly by their service people and because of seven days we are out $60. The worst part for them is we need to purchase new appliances within the next year or so and had already purchased a refrigerator for a rental units we had lived in about a year and a half ago. So much for loyalty.
Description of Work: Service call for Samsung dryer. This was the second service in under 40 days.

Called them to repair our microwave, it was only a few years old. Tech came out and did a quick check of it and came up with an estimate to repair that was just over the cost of a replacement. They obviously wanted to see a new one. We did that and on a second visit the old new unit was removed and a new new unit was installed. A newer model with a few minor changes that did not improve microwave. liked the old one better. After we noticed the noise on the new one was louder than the last. Turns out the duckwork connection to the top vent on the unit was loose. It has not been fitted well at all. I pushed it down and resealed the duc tape so it's better.
Description of Work: Replaced our above the stove microwave oven with similar GE unit

Description of Work: Technician walked in the door took all of 2 minutes to run his finger around the tub of my washer. He said the inner spinner was broken, told me repairs would be about $1000, if I wanted to buy a new washer at Lambco they would give me $20 off and walked out the door. I couldn't believe he would charge me for a full service call when he just walked in and walked out without even taking the machine apart. His reply to my disbelief was "Well if you went to Sears, they would charge you $129." That is one reason why I didn't go to Sears. The other was that I wanted to support a local business in the new area I just moved to. Needless to say Lambco won't get my business in the future.

I called Lambco on a Monday morning because our refrigerator died over the weekend. It was making strange noises then stopped working completely. Within 2 hours, the serviceman was at my house; he asked a couple of questions and said he knew exactly what the trouble was. Because his truck was well-stocked, I did not have to wait for a part; it was fixed immediately. Excellent, prompt service, reasonable charge. I would not call any other company.
Description of Work: The serviceman diagnosed the trouble immediately; it had to do with a relay switch that needed to be replaced. He had the part and fixed it right then.
