 + -1 moreGreat, they even came a day early. Price was much lower than the other quotes I got. Three companies didn't even return my calls. I would have saved a lot of time and frustration if I had called Harney first. .
Description of Work: Removed 35' broken limb hanging over neighbor's driveway, plus a smaller one behind garage.

 + -1 moreI hired them for one full day (eight hours) to get the best value. The job was to cut and remove five dead trees. With the remaining time they cut and removed dead branches from other trees. This was done to my satisfaction. They cleaned up very well. There were only a few branches left for me to pick up. Some of the trees must have been difficult to remove, but they did it without causing any damage.

Reasonable prices, responsive, very professional and they clean up their work sites well. They've gone beyond expectations on some of the work projects and I will use them again.  + -1 moreHarney Contractors did an excellent job removing the large oak tree that was damaged in the October snow storm.
Description of Work: Jim Harney came out to remove large oak tree that was damaged in the October snow storm. The work was very professional. They cut the large branches and put them into the chipper. For the trunk they cut it in pieces and loaded it onto the truck. When compete the raked and cleaned the yard. The first time I used their service was an emergency situation where a tree split in half and blocked our garage. This was on a Saturday night. Harney was the only company that would come out on a Sunday to remove it. My husband needed to get the car out of the garage early Monday morning to get to dialysis. Once the limb was removed we set a date for them to come back and remove the rest of the tree and 2 others that were dead and in danger of falling on the house. I would recommend them for any tree service you need. They are not only very professional but are very friendly and always gets back to you in a timely manner.
