Very few choices, addition cost were much higher than Angie's List deal. There phone people were not helpful. Sal the estimator was good. But prices were not reasonable for limited choices.

As we began our kitchen remodel and decided on granite for the countertops, we suddenly found ourselves overwhelmed with the abundance of granite companies in the area. How do we choose? I called 7 different companies from Providence to East Boston. Out of the 7 companies I reached out to, only 5 returned my call or email. Within 24 hours we had 2 responses. Edilio was the 2nd to respond and I immediately got a good vibe from him. He was friendly, knowledgeable and forthcoming. However, price is key, right? Naturally, we were eager to get a quote from all 5 companies. As the quotes came funneling in, Granitec had the 2nd lowest price (but a close 2nd, within a couple hundred dollars of the lowest bid). We then realized price wasn't the #1 factor in our decision. We needed to feel confident that whomever we chose understood our vision, was a talented fabricator and could meet our install dates. We were confident Edilio fit all 3 and although he was not the lowest bid, his price was more than fair and was still nearly 35% LESS than some of the other quotes. After install day, we couldn't believe our eyes. The counter tops were exactly what we wanted and the fabrication was fantastic! Every corner, every cut, just perfect! We are in love with our counter tops and owe it all to Edilio. From start to finish, he was the consummate professional. Honest, responsive, timely.... fair pricing too! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of granite.
