Very helpful, didn't overcharge me when the first fix didn't work.

I had an emergency situation and Brian called back, promptly and was at my house within 30 minutes. Excellent work!

He came out and got the part installed very quickly. Returned the next day to make sure everything was working correctly. I am so happy we got this fixed. Now my home is ready for the winter.

It took 10 min to install a $25 part and got charged $385 ,that worked out to be $1000 hr,I feel like I got ripped off big time

Furnace was replaced, but was unreachable when it came to addressing a follow-up issue with a noisy blower. Was able to reach Brian MacDonald once and he agreed to send someone out the following week to look at it. No one ever arrived, and after making multiple attempts to contact Brian again to see what the status was, no calls were returned. Avoid this vendor at all costs.

Brian arrived ready to work , It was late when he received my call. But he heard that my daughter had no heat and he assured me that he would resolve the issue. I would recommend Brian Macdonald to all my friends and family to solve their heating issues.

They call the same day I found their name on Angi. They came the next day. The furnace was too old and we had to replace it. They give a great price and replace it the next day. The installation was very fast. They clean up and were very professional! I highly recommend this company!!

I called him to come back and finish the job since the supposed initial repairs he made never fixed the problem. He made suggestions for additional parts and services for something I was able to figure out myself once he left. I would not recommend him

Brian was on time and honest about the repair and what could go wrong.

Never showed up and never called.

He was prompt in coming over and giving us the bad news. The mini-split system that had been installed three years ago, by a well known company from Rhode Island, was done so incorrectly. He told us what was needed to correct the issues, and 5 days later his installers, Luke and Will showed up, installed the two new inside heads, re-routed an upstairs head to the new double outlet compressor, cleaned up after the jobs, and left us with a new a/c and heating units.

Charges commercial rates in the residential market, a simple repair that should have cost $200 -$300 and a few hours to fix cost me $600 and equipment I did not need installed, also 2 days to fix. One night without heat. He got the furnace working but wired the wrong zone valve to the wrong thermostat which I had to fix after he left. sloppy work stay away from this company!

He replaced a device that was not broken. Never did diagnostics tests which would have told him that. Way over charged me. Would not respond to my email

Brian did a great last job installing and then moving our propane line. He’s just very busy.

He replaced 3 electric components on my boiler. It started to short cycle. He said he would call the manufacturer. He never got back to me. I called another technician. He charged me $175 because Brian MacDonald did not plug the ignition wire all the way into the ignition sensor. Brian walked away from the job with my money and the boiler still not working properly. Luckily I finally found a technician who knows their stuff because I do not think Brian MacDonald really does.

Brian was able to give me an estimate for removing a solar hot water tank based on some pictures I sent him and phone conversations. This greatly expedited the process. The estimate was reasonable and the work was done in a timely and professional manner.

So I have a gas 2012 Burnham Alpine 105W High Efficiency boiler. There was a Hard Lockout on the display and the furnace would not ignite. Brian came out and ultimately had to put 4 parts in for which I got the costs for by calling a supplier (1.888.757.4774) : a draft inducer motor, (his cost $668 - he charged me $1,235 which included labor), 2 flame sensors $32.39 each, and a gas valve @ $328.56 - he charged me $870 for those 3 parts. My total bill was $2,105. I'll tell you what homeowners, plumbers are a racket. Look around before you decide on someone and call a supplier to find whether or not they're ripping you off. ARS Heating and Air Conditioning wanted to charge me $1,765 for the part (draft inducer) Brian only charged me $1,235 for. Another plumber told me that was a reasonable price - and yet he made $567 profit on that one part. To be fair that did include labor. I was told this was a small motor that needed to simply be screwed in - though it didn't look that easy when Brian did it. I just think the profit they make is outrageous. As a small business, I realize they have payroll, trucks, and insurance but still. They're way more expensive than any car mechanic ever was!!! I think a little regulation might help here in order to be an advocate for the consumer. We have no protection whatsoever. Brian works hard, knows what he's doing for sure, and he's very reliable and straightforward.
