Brian was very knowledgeable and fixed our water heater issue right way. He was very honest and courteous and even stopped by few days later to follow up the issue we had. I'll highly recommend Brian for his service to anyone anytime...!!!

After my furnace stopped working, I submitted a request to ServiceMagic, which Brian quickly responded to. He was polite, prompt, and knowledgeable, and resolved the problem in short order (a burned-out blower fan). The replacement part and the work were a bit on the expensive side, but given that it was January, I was happy to have the furnace fixed in a hurry.

My central air system was not blowing out cold air. Brian came checked it out and said everything was fine. We turned on the unit and cool air came out of the system. I told him the system was serviced two years ago and questioned whether it needn't freon or not. Brian didn't even check for that. I paid him for stopping by which was an error on my part. The system ran for 9 hours and the house didn't cool off. The house temp was 78 when I turned it on and went up to 80 with the system running. I called Brian to see if he could come back and of course he didn't call, like I expected. Not too happy............

Brian was very courteous when he came to my house to install a new condensing unit. His install was done in a thorough and timely manner. His price was also very competitive with the other prices I received. I am very happy with the product and the service I received. I highly recommend this company.

My hot water heater broke as a result of flooding. Brian came over (at 7pm at night, which was nice of him) and took a look at it, and was very straightforward about the situation, and when he said I needed to replace it, I believed him (the need for it to be replaced had been already been explained to me by someone else, but I wanted a 2nd opinion). I chose Brian to replace it because the price he quoted me for the replacement was $200 lower than the other quote I had received. A++++ would use again

As the result of flooding in my basement, the pilots in my furnaces and water heaters would not light. Tired,and cold I reached out to Servicemagic. Brian MacDonald contacted me within minutes of my posting and came over that night -- despite the late hour. Very helpful and extremely professional, Brian answered all of my questions and explained what he was doing as he completed the work. It was realized that new water heaters were needed and he scheduled to return the next day. Long story short --my furnaces are working fine, new water heaters have been installed, and I now have a reputable plumber that I feel will be around for a long time!
