Brian charged $ 2700 for installing a 100,000 BTU gas furnace but without first asking me, he installed a smaller 72000 BTU furnace. Then he tried to explain it away by talking about inputs and outputs. The smaller furnace is very slow in heating the house. I am not very happy. I feel he overcharged me for the product he delivered.

Service was excellent and Brian was polite and easy to work with, explaining everything. He is very knowledgeable and competent. I will recommend him to others. He was a pleasure to work with.

Brian MacDonald telephoned me the same evening. He came the next day. He is very knowledgeable and current as a Nordyne Tappan dealer. The installation is fine and the air-conditioning system is working with the new exterior air-conditioner unit. He noticed that the furnace exterior blower was on for an extended period. He will be returning next week to replace the high/low demand switch with an on-demand switch.

I hired Brian MacDonald in November 2012 to install a new HVAC system. He provided good recommendations on the type of installation, and that is the only positive I can say about the experience. His installation resulted in a leak that caused damage to the condo below mine and, based on the need for a follow-up service, it has become clear that the new HVAC unit was not properly installed. I attempted to reach out to Brian to discuss this issue, but he was unresponsive.

Brian was prompt, professional and competent, I will recommend him to others for furnace and heating repairs.

He offered to come almost immediately, but we chose to have him come in the morning. He came promptly, fixed the gas leak, dealt with the gas inspector. He was a pleasure to work with.

Brian arrived on time and was very nice. He was able to diagnose the situation quickly and was forthcoming with explaining what parts we needed and what they would cost. A written estimate would have been helpful but I had already received 2 other estimates that were comparable, so it was not a dealbreaker. Overall, The work was done in a timely manner and his response time was only moments after submitting my request. I would certainly recommend him.

He did the required job but I found out later that I could have got the job done at lower price than what I paid. I wish he would have quoted me so.

Fixed my furnace Nov 2012. Arrived bang on time on same day of my call. Had spare part in pocket (based on experience). Not cheap but cheap is not what I want when without heat - I want service and immediate fix which was delivered. Highly recommend.

They did a great job! Brian's first visit was very successful. After that, outside of servicemagic, everything went downhill. We calledBrian over three weeks ago because we had "water hammers" in all three of our heating zones. Since they occurred at the same we think it was due to his earlier visit. Bottom line, we paid a lot of money, called Brian, who claimed the problem was fixed and we still have the same problem. Brian has promised to return several times but never shows up. Last week he spoke to my wife and said he had been to our home the previous day. I was home, Brian lied, didn't show and we must pay again to fix the problem.

Brian contacted me within minutes after my submission of the AC service request. He was courteous on the job, explained the problem, which turned out to be a bad capacitor. Also explained to me options about upgrading our current aging system, and helped cleaning the condensate drainage of the second unit we have in the attic. He did not provide a receipt/invoice after I paid him the total service charge, promising to email me the invoice instead. But I only got it two weeks later. Not before I emailed and then called reminding him just that. The invoice does not even itemize parts and labor. The latter experience could have been better.

Prompt reply, service, work done in less than one hour. Mentioned that the part is expensive, but later found it is inexpensive on the web.

Brian was quick to schedule but flexible with his appointment. He checked everything over and gave me a ton of info on what to do about replacing my existing equipment while also telling me I can wait a bit cause my equipment was still in good condition. Great guy I would recommend to others
