did interior painting, with high ceilings. Very clean and thorough, covered everything, paint looks good. needed some exterior work done, but could not seem to find a day to get back to complete it.

Let me start out by saying Rick is a superior craftsman. I stared out my kitchen myself. I did the entire demo, put up new dry wall, taped and mudded the joints (walls and ceiling), installed a new subfloor, installed the lamenet plank flooring, installed the upper cabinets. Oh did I mention I have never done any of this before... Rick came in and save the day. I’m sure you know there is nothing worse than fixing someone elses mistakes, but Rick handled it with grace and professionalism. He came in, and did wonders to our Kitchen. The wainscoting looks spectacular; you would never know that the wall was ever out of square. The level of detail he put into this project was top notch. After I ripped out the original kitchen floor; the floor actually dropped about 4 inches, he took the time to make the transitions from the kitchen to the other rooms look seamless. He is an incredibly nice guy and very approachable. Any questions you might have he will take the time to answer it. He is clean and neat, not only while he is working but after every day he cleans up. His pricing is very reasonable and for the quality of work you get it can’t be beat. The one thing he does do that, for some reason the other people we have had look at work in our house don't; HE PAINTS!! Maybe it’s me or the area I’m in, but it’s hard to find some one that will do the work from beginning to end, without having to deal with a different person or a different contractor all together. He even painted the bathroom door that is off the kitchen. I would highly recommend Falls Carpentry hands down, one of the best out there. He’s working on getting me 3 more quotes for other projects in my home.

The man from the company was very prompt in visiting. We had good communications back and forth. He returned my calls and provided a quotation promptly and within the time frame that he promised. The work was scheduled and he was on time and prompt. He continued the job as promised and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them for all sorts of carpentry and maintenance work.

Rick replaced 10 oversized screen windows with double-hung windows, and also replaced 2 old storm doors with new ones. The work that Rick did was excellent. He spent 1 1/2 days on the job, very efficient, and very neat. We are now able to enjoy our porch without pollen, rain, etc.. getting in. It is much warmer on the chilly fall mornings to sit in there, and enjoy our morning coffee. He was very thorough in caulking all around the outside of our windows on a ladder, since our porch is very high off the ground. He also had to adjust the door opening to have our doors fit tight, since our original porch floor was uneven. He didn't charge us extra for this, even though he had to come back another day for a few hours to do this. My husband and I are very happy.

I didn't hire him, his price was very high

He kept his appointments, he worked efficiently, he did what he was said he was going to do, and I will use him again. He was a good guy and I have only good things to say about him. He did an amazing job.

In 2004 Rick reconstructed our basement. He created a beautiful room with a library and living area. He reconstructed the exiting bathroom - modernizing the shower and all the fixtures. Rick has done a great deal of upgrading to our home. He replaced all the regular windows to make our living area more efficient. Replaced storm door in our sun room. Removed sky lights in sun room because they were leaking. Upgraded the upstairs bathroom - fixtures and flooring. Kitchen upgrade - tiling, adding microwave above he electric range. Installed window in kitchen wall to make living area more accessible, lighting wise, to the sun room area. Rick will be doing more upgrading in the very near future - removing interior and storm door, etc.

I was really pleased with the experience and the quality of work provided. When I was interviewing contractors for the jobs, I was particularly concerned about the front door work, as another contractor had told me the only way to do it was to replace the entire (huge) door system. Rick's experience and skill made it clear that he understood the door structure system really well, and he offered a practical plan to replace just the damaged portions. He did a great job, and it looks excellent. I was relieved that Rick was always on time, fast and focused in his work. He finished it all when he said he would, wwhich was quick, which was a big plus. I would definitely have Rick Burgess do work for me again.

I requested a quote on the repair of several trim pieces on our home that had deteriorated. During the visit we also discussed two external doors that were difficult to close. Rick responded with the quote and upon acceptance he confirmed the date of service. He arrived exactly on time and within a few hours had completed everything. The work is quite satisfactory as was the price and I will certainly continue to do business with him as the needs arise. This is my first experience with a service from Angie's list and I am quite pleased.

From his intial site visit to view the work and his subsequent email that detailed his estimate to the actual scheduling of the work, it could not have gone any better. Perfectly. Responded promptly to phone message, made arrangements to view job, quoted time and materials (via email) in three days, scheduled job (again via email) and showed up promptly. Did the work, removed all materials and cleaned up without leaving a trace - except that problem areas had been addressed. Highly professional.

He did it exceedingly well on a very tight scheduling. We got a punch list from a buyer on our old house less than a week before the closing, and he got the whole thing done. There were no problems and it looked beautiful. The price was okay for what he did and the quality was excellent. He was unbelievable. I have passed his name on to the new buyer. They were very impressed with what they saw.

We got him off Angie's list. The guy was very good. He is still doing work for us. He got reviews on Angie's list. We liked him when he came out to give us a quote. He has done a superior work and we really liked him. He is actually doing some more work for us, which he gave us a quote on recently. He quoted $2000 for the work.

I use Falls Carpentry Company quite regularly. My overall experience with them has been excellent. They are professional and punctual. The quality of the work they do is excellent. Their pricing is good. They are professional. I would use them in the future.
