Description of Work: I used Althea as my duel realtor thinking having her work both sides would make it quick and easy...was I wrong! I feel I spent more time keeping up with what was next in the process than she did. During the initial negotiations she didn't even try to negotiate and asked that I give the asking price. It makes sense since she acted as a duel realtor seeming to make it easier for herself. It wasn't until I insisted that we offer less is when she relented. | |Communication was a mixed-bag sometimes she would respond immediately sometimes a day or so would go by. I gave her 2 checks for the binder and she lost one of them, which caused a delay on my end with my bank. The bank needed to see proof that both checks cleared. She informed me I would not be responsible for the 2nd check. In February ( I closed in mid-January), she contacted me and asked about the 2nd check because her books were off. Thank goodness I keep all my text and had to remind her that they were taking full responsibility of the lost check. | |During the home inspection she lost the key to the home and she happened to find a spare in her car. This caused us to start the home inspection and hour late. For some reason, the owner of the property had the combination to the lock box as well instead of having his own key which I found very odd. | |Bye the end of the process, she gave me the owners email so I could get the paperwork finished for closing. At closing she was representing the seller (was late as well) and signed on their behalf but didn't bother to stay to wait for us to finish our paperwork to congratulate us on our purchase. | |I am glad the process is over and would not use her again.
