Awesome. My house needs a lot of work and I've put it off a long time looking for the right contractor. I plan on keeping Jason working until my renovation money runs out. He does all the work himself, brings in crew only when he needs extra hands or a particular expert. He works efficiently, smart, always looks for ways to save money but never cuts corners. He renovated the master bathroom for lower than my lowest bid from other contractors, and that included dealing with "surprises" along the way (like two layers of subflooring - a good one covering a rotted one. He removed both and put in new subfloor). He took the time to lay the tile in the new shower in a wonderful, symmetrical pattern (cut the tiles so that they match going around corners and are the same size at either edge). He also took the time to lay the new tile floor so that it is perfectly flush with the wood floor adjacent to it - no threshold needed! Absolutely beautiful, careful work. This guy is an artist as well as being the most all-round competent contractor I've ever seen. He did such a great job on the bath that I asked to do a lot of other work, including replacing doors, tiling, painting, replacing one deck and building a new foundation and reinforcing a screen room/deck. Currently he is working on the deck. Saved me a pile by mixing the concrete for the footers himself. He continues to do an excellent job, working mostly by himself, taking time to do things right. Jason is also honest to a fault - I've been paying him by the hour and I can count on him to make the best possible use of his time. I should say that this is the second home I've renovated and the third I've owned and I've known a lot of contractors, both in Maryland and now in Massachusetts. Jason is just the best I've ever run into, period.
