The moving crew was on-time and worked very efficiently, both at the departure point, and destination. They provided packing materials, and used appropriate care for every item. Nothing was missing, lost or damaged. I highly recommend Castine for anyone moving anywhere.

They were amazing. The only even remotely negative comment we would have is that they were moving a bit too slow for our liking. We were paying them by the hour, so that was a genuine concern and we really didn't think it was going to cost us that much to make the move because everything was in one place, although there were 2 units, side by side from which they had to move our belongings into their truck. Other than that, they were respectful, courteous, professional and very careful with the handling of our "stuff".

They were excellent. Nothing was broken. They were clean. My floors & carpets are brand new & still look brand new after the move. The movers put sliders under my furniture so I could move it later if I wanted to. Everything was set up just the way I wanted. They were good tempered, cheery & took a lot of stress out of the moving for me. The two movers were great! They organized my storage unit downstairs for me. The moving coordinator I dealt with was excellent. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

If I ever move again, I will be using this company. It is family-owned and goes back to the 1920's I think. I heard horror stories about moving companies and was anxious about this move, but I can't say enough good things about them. They coordinated the move, starting weeks in advance. I have new respect for movers after watching and listening to these guys over a period of a few days. They were professionals from start to finish.

Great experiences - all punctual, and all really quite worry-free. They're very helpful, very flexible, and really pleasant people to have around you during a stressful time. They really work quite hard at making moves uneventful. One service that really helps is the home office support from Castine - delightful people, and they help keep everything on track. I would definitely go with them even if corporate support weren't there (and trust me - most corporate-paid for services are AWFUL and you just have to go with it - these guys are an exceptional).

Everything arrived in good condition. They did a fantastic job.They were very careful in both locations to keep my home clean. They would point out things before they did stuff where there might be things that I didn't notice before. If there is something they did, they were quick to point it out and fix it. I have used them 3 times, each time has been fantastic. Regardless of the different crews, everything always turns out great.
