Jeff Ryan was fantastic! I first emailed him at 9 PM on a Sunday via his web site after reading the reviews on Angie's List because I realized I needed help installing the new faucet I'd purchased on Amazon. He replied on Tues offering to come out on Thursday. Early Wed AM I wrote back to thank him for responding so quickly & to explain that I couldn't make Thurs but I thought I'd figured out my problem (just needed a bit longer to be sure). I also asked if he'd be avail on Fri in case I ran into problems after all. Jeff replied that he was booked all day Fri but if I had a question I could fee free to call him & if I needed his help he could come on Sat. After 3 trips to hardware stores & hours of working at it, by 9 PM on Friday I realized I was in over my head with this project but it was too late to call him. Instead, I emailed asking if he were still avail on Sat & hoped he'd see my message. He called Sat morning, estimated he'd be avail by early afternoon but that he'd phone when he knew the precise time. He phoned just when he said he would, arrived just when he said he would and he solved ALL my faucet installation problems! He was extremely professional, efficient, helpful, and careful. He checked that everything worked as it should, showed me how to remove the pop-up drain for future cleaning and even discounted his usual fee because I'd done some of the installation work before hand. I will definitely call on him for all my future plumbing needs and highly recommend him to others!

Hot water had stopped coming out of the kitchen faucet so we decided to buy a new faucet at Lowe's. Jeff arrived early and had the new faucet installed in a little over 30 minutes (and resolved the hot water issue as well). He even had time at the end to take a look at a bathroom we are looking to have remodeled and made recommendations as to what work would be necessary. I highly recommend Ryan Plumbing and we will definetly continue to use him as our trusted plumber.

This was the second time we used Jeff's services. Each time, he has returned calls promptly, arrived as scheduled, and completed the work as quoted. As we were getting a new dishwasher, he came by the house prior to delivery to remove the old dishwasher. He is pleasant to work with, and is patient with explaining things to a mechanically challenged indivudal such as myself. While he was there, I noticed a leak in the closet under our shower, and he looked into the leak and fixed it without any hesitation. I will continue to call Jeff for any future plumbing needs.

We had a great experience with Jeff. He coordinated with our tilers to get the right date, then came in the afternoon before to remove the toilet so that it could be tiled underneath. He also replaced four faucets with new fixtures (which were quite complicated to install) and replaced four shower heads. He was courteous and professional. When it became apparent that the knobs on the faucets didn't match the rest of the fixtures (a mistake in ordering) he offered to come back to replace them for no charge.

We like him a lot. He's prompt and he treated us fairly. I would highly recommend him. I would absolutely use him in the future.

He was able to come a day early and added the second sink at the last minute. It came out great and the cost was great.

I contacted Jef Ryan about an installation of the second water meter in the house. He called back promptly and arrived to my house a few hours later. Jeff gave me a lot of detail about what the service entails, labor and material wise, along the town related regulations to keep in mind. He answered all my questions in very comprehensive manner. When the written quote arrived via email, each aspect of given services was laid out, which provide me with a good level of comfort about how the service was priced. The only reason I am not going through with employing Ryan?s Plumbing is the price, which came out to be higher than what I was willing to pay for the installation without implying that his price was exaggerated comparing to others in any way.

Jeff was on time and very professional. Finished ahead of schedule. Great job!

A few days after he had cleaned out the drain our tub backed up again. Jeff returned promptly, found the root of the problem this time and did not charge for the second visit.

He responded to the message I left for him the evening of the day I called. We set up an appointment for a few days later. He arrived promptly with his assistant. As we reviewed all the things to do, his assistant got to work on the first item. Very professional, does good work, and I hired him again when the other toilet started leaking a few weeks later.

They called me back same day and came over that day to look at it. He put a temporary fix in place until our schedules could mesh for him to come back two days later. He was very professional, polite, pleasant and made sure the fix was as it should be. We will definitely call him again.

Quick call back and visit for pricing. Then came back a few days later and did the job for the price quoted. No surprises.

Returns call very quickly. Very polite, showed up with booties on his boots! Relatively easy repair but he clearly was very competant and professional. $95. service charge.

Once I picked up a new toilet, I called Jeffrey to schedule the install. I had to call twice, but as suspected, he was caught up with some no-heat calls (totally understandable). Jeffrey called back on Wednesday and scheduled the install for same day! He showed up at the scheduled time and completed the job in a very fast 30 minutes. Everything was clean and tidy when he left, and most importantly the new toilet was working like a champ. His price is very competitive and the quality of the work seems great.

We hired Jeff to do all the plumbing for a complete bathroom remodel. Jeff stopped by on a Friday night on the way home from another job to coordinate the project with our tile contractor. He provided an accurate estimate for the significant amount of work that needed to be done (fabricate shower stall; re-plumb tub, toilet and sink; install new fixtures; repair radiator). Jeff also had recommendations about the fixtures that helped my wife narrow her choices. Demolition started the following Monday and Jeff coordinated all of the steps required perfectly with the tiling contractor so the whole job went forward at lighting speed with no down time. The end result is a beautiful new bathroom. We will call Jeff in the future for our plumbing needs.

Our natural gas water heater was leaking and no longer heating water. When another plumber told me he was too busy to replace it I looked on Angie's List for another plumber who had great reviews and found Jeffrey Ryan. From his web site on a Monday night I wrote an email to him describing my problem not expecting to hear from him until Tuesday. However, within an hour he had actually replied to that email and asked me for information on the current water heater so he could determine if it was under warranty. The speed of his reply and that he asked about the model to determine if it was still under warranty impressed me. We talked the following day after he called to tell me that our 7-year old water heater was still under warranty. He quoted me the total cost to replace and I was very happy with his estimate. By Wednesday afternoon he hauled away the old water heater and installed its replacement. He was not only very nice and personable but he saved us a lot of money by checking the warranty. Having hired other plumbers in the past who were either too expensive and more often didn't do a great job left me eager to find one plumber that I could hire whenever we needed. After meeting Jeffrey Ryan I can now say that he is the only plumber we will call in the future.

I have called Ryan Plumbing twice and had great experiences both times. Rich Ryan, Jeffrey's father, answered the phone at 9pm on a Friday, asked about the problem, and came by at 7am the next day. He was warm, punctual, professional, knowledgeable and was able to find and fix our kitchen drain problem at a reasonable rate before most of the other companies with whom I had left a message even called back. A month later our bioler stopped working and again he answered the phone after hours and arrived at our door the next morning at 7am. He carried parts that commonly need to be replaced, so he was able to fix the heating problem in under an hour with no need to order the part and return to complete the job later. He is genuine, personable, and explains the problem clearly before repairing it right the first time, at a price lower than most others I've seen. I highly recommended Ryan Co., and in particular Rich Ryan for heating and plumbing diagnosis and repair.

I contacted him over the Thanksgiving holiday about a minor leak under the sink. He got back to me pretty quickly, and let me know about up-front costs. Upon arrival, he professionally introduced himself, and got right to work. He found the leak, obtained the right part to replace the broken one, and fixed us up quickly. Not only was he fast and efficient, but also personable. I'd recommend him.

I booked a visit with Ryan Plumbing and they called several days early to fit me in after a cancellation. What a pleasant surprise! From start to finish, Jeff and his assistant were pleasant, informative, and professional. Our home is an antique, so I have worked with several plumbers where every task is a discussion about how complicated the job, Ryan Plumbing did none of that. They quickly got down to work, finished the jobs quickly, and were very complimentary of the home. I love when you are paying someone by the hour when they simply get to work and do the job. Look forward to working with them again

Overall our experience with Jeff was great. We found Jeff thru Angies List. Contacted him and Jeff was able to come on a Saturday to check out our needs. Early in the week, as promised, we had an "emailed" estimate. Once we had a delivery date for the dishwasher, Jeff came over and disconnect the old one. After the dishwasher was delivered Jeff came back to complete all the work. We felt very comfortable having Jeff and his helper in our home. We had some additional questions that Jeff didn't mind taking the time to answer. What a relief and pleasure it is to finally be able to say, "We have a plumber!!"

He responded quickly, did the work well and left it in as good a shape as possible.

I contacted the company by e-mail, via their website, on a Saturday, prior to leaving on a vacation wwekend. I never expected to hear from them that weekend, but Richard Ryan, the father, phoned me on SUNDAY and promised me someone would be at the house within days. He came the following Tuesday and inspected the problem [a bathtub pipe leaking into the basement] and the next day came to the house at 7 AM to replace the pipe. This plumber was efficient, clean and very responsive to our need. I cannot say enough for our satisfaction with them. I would definitely contact them again. The price was reasonable, given the time and the work done. Plumbers can be so expensive. . . this famlly-run business does things the old fashioned way. Much appreciated!

I would highly recommend Jeff Ryan and his team. I am a first time home buyer and was very nervous about having to hire contractors. You hear the horror stories and hope they don't happen to you. Jeff was professional, honest, and explained what was going on (in layman's terms) throughout the process.I contracted Ryan Plumbing to do my gas to oil conversion. It required getting rid of my old radiator heating system and replacing it with baseboard heating. We did this as part of the Mass Save program. Jeff recommended a great heat and hot water wall mounted system. It take up 10% of the space of the old system. The system has been running for 3 months and we haven't had one problem with it. Jeff and his team did an expert installation, got rid of everything from the old system and did everything around our schedule of having a newborn. I would highly recommend Jeff and look forward to working with Jeff again.

Ryan arrived on schedule and went to work. He is a fast thinker and a problem-solver. Seeing that water was not dripping when the shower was on, he took a bowl and splashed water around the walls. The problem was identified - a worn out valve. Ryan fixed it within minutes. Words that best describe Ryan: punctual, efficient , clean, reasonable, and problem-solver.
