We were worried we'd have to open up the wall to replace the valve. Jeff showed up and was able to troubleshoot and figure out the solution and was able to replace the control without having to break into the wall. He was responsive, reliable and cost effective.

Ryan Plumbing & Heating are amazing. I called Jeff to inquire about replacing two outside faucets and their corresponding shut-off valves. He gave me a quick estimate over the phone and a tentative date. He called me back within 24 hours to confirm the appointment. I called Friday and the appointment was scheduled for Monday. I didn't have to wait a week for them to come out, which was nice. Jeff asked the right questions ahead of time to make sure the job would go without any issues. He asked if the pipes were accessible for example or enclosed in a finished basement or wall. I am glad he did, as that gave me time to remove some panels that were covering the pipes so it would be ready on the day of the appointment. Jason showed up ahead of schedule. He was very polite and professional. He knew exactly what needed to be done. He took the time to explain the entire work process and answer any questions I had. He worked efficiently and super fast. Everything went well and everything is working as expected. I am glad I called Jeff and will do so for future projects.

It was a pleasure doing business with them. I called on a Tuesday. Jeffrey responded to my phone call immediately, scheduled an appointment for Thursday (I was busy Wednesday). Jason and his helper Peter were right on time (early actually), were personable and efficient. They replaced the faucet and a hot water valve (the drain was fine), kept everything tidy, and were on their way. I know this was a small job, but I could tell I could depend on them for bigger jobs as well.

Jeff and his crew showed up right on time. He discussed all 3 tasks with me, paying particular attention to the type of faucet that would be best for use outside. Everything went smoothly. They did a good job protecting our rug by using a drop-cloth and wearing booties. They cleaned up completely. We will definitely call Jeff again.

Jeff promptly retuned my call and we set up an appointment for an estimate. Jeff was very accommodating. I contacted him once the bathroom renovation schedule was set (giving him a good advance notice) and he was able to perform the work within the construction window. Jeff and his crew were on site for two days to complete all the plumbing projects. They did great job. All the new plumbing is perfect and I am completely satisfied with the quality work. One of the plumbing jobs was to replace the kitchen drain and trap. I was very surprised and happy when I saw the final project. Not only was the drain replaced, but Jeff also replaced some of the existing brass pipe with new copper pipe which cleaned up a messy plumbing situation on the water supply lines under the sink and in the basement. The installation of the second water meter required coordination with the city water department for an on-site visit before meter installation. I provided Jeff with all the meter information and contact names I received from the city. Jeff coordinated everything with the city. The process went flawlessly and the plumbing of the meter looks great. In summary Ryan Plumbing and Heating is a professional group, has great communication, is very reliable and does quality work.

Jeff and I connected via Angies list. He was able to fit us in within a couple of days. He arrived with his team right on time. His team worked on installing the outside faucet. I didn't realize that we should have picked up a faucet for him, so he ran out to pick one up. They were able to remove it and replace it very quickly. I will using Ryan Plumbing in the future and I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a plumber.

He was GREAT. Responded very quickly to my questions. He guided us on sourcing a new toilet and then came the day after it was delivered to install it. He arrived on time and was able to install the toilet quickly and efficiently. I was very satisfied with the service I received.

Jeff and Jason were great. They were very professional! When they completed the job and left it was like they were never here, except for the awesome job they did. No mess at all. I will definitely use them again!

Contacted Ryan Plumbing on a Monday via email to schedule an appointment for Friday to fix my leaking kitchen faucet. Jeff responded within an hour, and we set up an appointment for Friday afternoon. He gave me a 2pm - 3pm window and showed up promptly within that time frame. Because I had emailed him a picture and brand of the faucet, he had all the necessary parts to fix it. He was finished within a half hour and showed/explained what he was replacing which I appreciated. He is friendly, extremely responsive and professional. It was very helpful that he was able to schedule an appointment during a time I was available even though it wasn't an emergency. I would definitely use him again.

These guys literally just left my house and I couldn't be happier. They showed up a little early and were actually waiting for me in my driveway when I got home! They were very polite and took their shoes off when they came in the house. Very efficient, the job was done in about 20 mins. Afterwards, they explained some info about my drains and the plumbing. Jeff arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. Took the appropriate measures to rectify the problem. Jeff is a great guy. Efficient, knowledgeable and dedicated to his customers.

It went great except for the fact that one of the toilets kept moving around. To Jeffs credit though, he ended up coming back twice and wouldn't leave until he got it right. I would definitely hire these guys again, especially since they back their work with no questions asked, and they were in and out of here in a reasonable amount of time at a very fair price. The faucets and the other toilet went in as intended and worked fine from the get go.

Ryan was very responsible, could not come right away, however I let him know my need is not urgent. He came for the work at 8:00 am on Saturday and complete the work within half hour. Excellent service, satisfied customer.

.We own a house built in 1890, and like all old houses you never know what you are going to find when you open it up. We were installing a tile floor in a pre-existing bathroom. Since one layer of two layers of subfloor, one layer of linoleum, and one layer of hardwood were being removed and replaced with a marble floor, we needed to change the height of the toilet flange. Normally this job is hard enough, but in our case the flange was made of copper ... something not seen in about 60 years. The normal ways of solving this problem for a PVC or iron flange would not work. Enter Richie Ryan, Jeff Ryan's dad, to save the day. What seemed to be the only way to solve this problem would have been very undesirable ... a lot more construction labor for me and a much higher floor as a result. Richie stayed up late into the night coming up with a wonderful and creative solution that gave me the best possible result. Things went so well that I also hired Richie to install a corner wall-mounted sink. This type of installation normally would require me to open the wall up and reinforce the sink area with plywood, but Richie was able mount the sink beautifully without forcing major wall reconstruction. Most plumbers would not have even tried. Richie has been doing this for many, many years, and his commitment to customer service is exceptional. He rearranged his schedule multiple times to accommodate my needs (I was doing the bathroom project myself). He arrived 15 or more minutes early each time he visited, and he called the day before each visit to confirm the time. The president of the company is Richie's son Jeff. Though I have not met him, I have heard very positive things about Jeff, his skills, and his customer service. I expect this is all true ... if he has half the plumbing ability and the commitment to customer that his father has, he is pretty exceptional. Oh, and I should mention that Richie has one of the funniest personal stories from his experience as a plumber that I have ever heard in my life. I look forward to hiring Richie again in the future, and if he is busy, would not hesitate to hire his son Jell as well.

Professionally and quickly done - it looks great!

So happy I found Jeff Ryan and his company. I'm sure we all know the frustrations of making calls to get contractors and no one returns the calls or does what they promised. Or their prices are so extremely exorbitant, it makes your heart pound!! But Ryan Plumbing seemed perfect in every way. This transaction could not have been completed any smoother. I called Jeff on a Friday, and he got right back to me. We made an appointment for the following Tuesday. He came in and gave a free estimate. He and two of his crew came back two days later and completed the work in about 4 hours. They were totally professional, friendly, and very efficient. They cleaned up everything afterward and you wouldn't have even known they were there (other than the sink and faucet looking brand new on the wall). I was thrilled to have found Jeff Ryan and will definitely continue to use him for my plumbing needs. The total price was $500, but he honored the 10% discount. They did a great job all around. thanks Jeff!!

I called 5 - 6 providers on Angies List and left messages or spoke to people who told me they could come out in 3 or 4 days. Jeff called me back within 15 minutes and was over to my house within 30 minutes. He replaced the spigot and installed an emergency shutoff. I was very grateful for his responsiveness to our issue and his professionalism to my wife who was home dealing with the issue.

Really appreciated Jeff's promptness in his replies, professionalism and knowledge. We sought other estimates, but found that Jeff was quite honest in what we needed and didn't necessarily need, at this time. Like many people, I'm sure, we were not looking to bring all our plumbing up to code (original plumbing from the 50's), but repair what really needed to be done to ensure broken pipes. Jeff never tried to up-sell or sell on on repairs that were not necessary.

Don't know if I would use them again, the price was awfully high.

They were prompt, courteous, patient and clearly explained to me what our problems were. After accurately assessing our situation, they worked quickly, efficiently and with impressive skill. Richard's many years of experience were evident in his sharp mind and spot-on intuition. He and Jason are a wonderfully professional team and we recommend their service to anyone with plumbing needs. We will confidently use Ryan Plumbing in the future.

This is a review of Richie Ryan - the father (although all Ryans are wonderful). I've used Richie for more than a decade at all of my various homes. He is literally the only plumber who actually calls me back promptly and then shows up. No matter what the emergency - in this case, a burst pipe at my parents home over the weekend - he shows up and fixes it. He's incredibly affordable and a great guy. He says he's semi retired, which is too bad for new people; but his son Jeff is just as great. Can't say enough about the service and Ryan Plumbing!

Among all the contractors I hired to renovate our fixer-upper (interviewed 50, hired 12), most of whom were A-listers, Jeff Ryan was the only one who made NO mistakes whatsoever. He took the time to research the appliance models/specifications I had given, ensuring smooth installations, unlike the electricians who botched up because they didn't bother understanding the specific kinks of what they were installing--in this case, semi-professional kitchen appliances. I decided to hire Jeff over other contractors because he not only had competitive rates, but he was able to work out a complex plumbing issue we had which entailed rerouting a sink pipe to connect to the public sewage. He was also thoughtful enough to suggest I install a shower head arm to extend its height because he thought my husband, who is as tall as him, would appreciate it. I never even knew there was such a product. It was a great piece of advice and we love it. Jeff also installed all bathroom fixtures except the tub and used quality fittings. I know they're of quality because an industrial plumber friend of ours commented on it. It was because of all the above quality work and professionalism showed that I decided to purchase a new water heater from him. Even the documents he provided for the MASSIVE program were flawless. I had to resubmit other contractors' documents because they were either incomplete or had errors.
