MARRA Flooring Walked All Over Me!! WARNING DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I MADE A BIG MISTAKE!!!!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would!!! I recently had my floors done by Marra flooring in FRAMINGHAM. At first everyone was polite and professional. The floor was installed, and I promptly paid for the flooring in full. 1 month later I was having a problem with the Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) tiles collapsing near the entry way by front door. The guys came out and corrected the issue. 3 weeks after that the SAME issue is now happening at the bathroom entrance!!! I called and spoke to Rob the OWNER. He came to my home and assessed the issue and said someone would be here in a week to fix it. On the day that was scheduled for them to arrive. They were to be here by 9:30 AM to start. At 10AM I called and spoke to Jim their Sales/Scheduler and he said he was very busy and would call me back. I waited a few hours and called again. I was told again that Jim would call me back by End Of Day. At 4:45 PM I called and was told Jim had left for the day!!!! I called back the next day and was told that there will be a delay because they do not have the flooring in stock and need a week for the stock to arrive. I said that's fine but I was not told that I had to wait a week to have the stock available when I was first reporting the problem. I HAVE SCHEDULED THE REPAIR ON MY 2 MONTH OLD FLOOR WITH JIM TO GET MY FLOOR FIXED ONLY TO BE CANCELLED on 3 separate scheduled Appointments now!! THIS IS HORRIBLE MY NEXT call is to CONSUMER PROTECTION TO REPORT THEM . TODAY IS THE 3rd CANCELLATION 1 hr before they are scheduled to arrive AFTER I HAVE CHANGED MY SCHEDULE to have them come and repair the floor!!!

From start to finish Marra flooring were awesome. Contact was made immediately and from estimating to install was very smooth and professional. Would highly recommend this company for any of your flooring needs!

Very disappointed in the kitchen flooring and backsplash that Marra Flooring did for us. Numerous delays, wrong product shipped, mistakes in the install, sloppiness with the installs, delays getting some one out to fix, etc. When faced with all of this, their response was basically "Sorry, I'll have a team meeting - oh by the way, you owe me $1688". Very disappointed.

We've had Marra install carpet in our house before and were very pleased at the time. We contracted them for another carpet install in July 2019. The sales process and installation were good. However, about a week after install, we started witnessing small insects in the room. Pest control personnel identified them to be carpet fleas, and recommended a thorough steam cleaning of the carpet to alleviate the issue. Upon multiple requests to Marra for either replacing the carpet or steam cleaning it, no action was taken by Marra.

Great! Very professional. Work was done efficiently, cleanly, and the floors look fantastic!

Great experience with Marra Flooring. First, they came over to measure and work up an estimate. They were patient while we worked through some options. I worked with two different people at Marra's showroom over a few months to get the floor just right. I removed linoleum tiles prior to their arrival. The sub-floor was in good shape, so no significant work was required to prepare it. The installers were several hours later than the expected time, but when they did come, they were professional and efficient. Although they did clean up after themselves very well inside the house, they left a pile of sawdust on our lawn and driveway - no big deal. The floor looks fantastic. Marra has the vibe of a small, but established, local business and they seem to committed to getting it just right. I would shop there again.

Our house is built on a slab, and the floors werent entirely level, and although the installer spent much time cleaning and patching and leveling the floor, numerous pieces were just not sticking ! But, they made it right, and came back and re-installed the entire floor, this time with some type of glue, and all is well ! I have to give a shout out to Chris, the installer, who took it upon himself to making the decision to re-install. Hard working, honest guy !

What a nightmare. At go it forever to get our stairway carpet order, and eventually ended up going with another company. They forgot to order our basement flooring all together, although we have an invoice, we were told we didn't tell them we wanted it. Most of our dealings were with Glen. We ordered laminate for our main floor. Despite specific instructions given to Glen, the laminate floors were laid the wrong direction, leading to the floors bowing and the room looking like a bouncy house when we walked on it. The workers used the saw indoors and left their saw dust and pieces of wood everywhere, left red pen marks on the white quarter rounds, and dirty handprints on the freshly painted walls. The carpets appeared to have been dragged around corners up the stairs chewing up dry wall corners as well as parts of the ceiling. Closet doors were removed and put back in the wrong places, they don't line up and one of the doors no longer opens as the track was broken. The floors in the bedrooms were supposed to be secured to remove squeaking. We removed all of our old carpet, staples, and old tacking ourselves. Upon telling Rob we were doing this he told us not to as they had a tool to make it simple. We said we were also addressing numerous loud squeaks, Glen said they would take care of them. Neither happened, and the tack strip left behind was not removed, rather had a new strip put on top of it making a large bump in the carpet, and staples left behind could be felt through the new carpet. Called Glen out and he said, "sometimes these things happen", and in regard to the laminate flooring, stated "well, that's what you get with laminate". Contacted the owner Rob, he came out, apologized for the mess, agreed the floor was not done correctly, and scheduled a time to come out and fix it. He also attempted to fix the closet doors, but with no success. The chewed up walls were never acknowledged. After a couple of months, we could no longer take the squeaking in the bedroom, asked Rob how to fix it, he offered to fix it himself. That was nice of him seeing his man failed to do the job correctly the first time. However, he was running a few hours late the day he was to come out, so I ended up removing all of the carpet and tacking the flooring myself. He did re-lay it though. At that time we also pointed out that parts of the laminate flooring appeared to have broken locks, as if they had been reused from when they were taken up and re-laid, and some of the boards appeared to have edges lifting up. Rob had an Armstrong rep come out and he determined it was due to moisture. It's in our living room under a chair. There are boards directly next to the effected boards that are not damaged. Nobody eats in the living room and no beverages were spilled. We only use laminate specific cleaner. A couple months later Rob AND Glen, (whom I had requested never come to our home again) came out and replaced the boards that had the broken locks and warped edges. Upon completion we looked the floors over and observed gaps between boards, which Rob fixed as we pointed them out. Then, one of the boards that had a broken lock seemed to still be broken. Rob removed it and observed that the problem was a piece of wood left under the laminate. Why was laminate laid on top of a piece of wood.. twice. The next morning the final straw hit me... as the light came in through the window I observed the boards that were put in to replace the broken ones are the wrong sheen. When the light hits the floor you can clearly see which ones are the replacement boards (roughly 10 boards in the middle of the room). I feel like crying. It's been a year of frustration with these floors. I will never work with a small company again. Although Rob is nice the job done by his company was just awful... I paid over $7000. I shouldn't have someone coming out 6 times to repair what should have been a pretty straight forward job. My floors look terrible and I just cannot bring myself to have them come out again. I'm sure they ordered the correct flooring, perhaps it's Armstrong's fault, I just can't deal with these guys again. I will now have to hire someone else to fix this because it really is that bad. I've been dealing with Marra Flooring for a year. At any point I would've been justified in leaving this review, but I really didn't want to hurt a small company. I just can't let someone else go through this.

Rob not only had solutions to offer for my flooring situation but made a referral to another contractor who could help me out, who was great. I ended up working with another contractor whom I had contacted previously and who was ready to start immediately, but would work with Rob again and will, and really appreciated the care and concern he showed for our situation and his expertise in the field.

The floor went in and looked beautiful. Over the next several months, we found some gaps in the flooring that didn't seem typical (I know hardwood will expand and contract, so we expected a little of that). We contacted Marra Flooring, they came out and inspected. They worked with the manufacturer and had the entire floor replaced. It is beautiful again and so far so good. I have used them for a hardwood in my home, a carpet in another location and also used their dry carpet cleaning service. I would not have believed it would have worked if I didn't see it myself. The carpets were cleaned without getting wet. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

They did a fantastic job. They were prompt and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a horrible experience with Marra flooring. We hired them to completely re-carpet our new house and sand and seal a set of wooden stairs before we moved in. We experienced trouble from the beginning when selecting our carpeting, but since it seemed the delay in getting our carpeting in from the factory was due to high demand for the carpeting we chose, we decided to stick with Marra Flooring for the job. Rob was very upfront and apologetic. When the carpeting did arrive they rushed it right over and began the install. We stopped by the new house one evening after the work had begun and discovered that the wrong carpeting had been installed in one room. We contacted Rob, who was upset himself and he fixed the problem immediately. A day or two later, Rob told us the job was complete. We stopped by the house again to see how everything looked. Although there was carpeting in each room, the carpet was loose and lumpy and the creaking floor boards that we had asked to have repaired were still there. There was also a trail of drips through the kitchen tile and into the entryway tile from the sealer that was used on the wooden front stairs, and a broken tile in our fireplace where the carpet installer had applied too much pressure when tucking the carpet in. We called Rob and told him we thought he should stop by and take a look at the work that was done. When he came by, he was quite embarrassed and admitted that the work was not done well. He had his crew come back and work again the next day. They did finish the job, but there are still areas that are not to satisfaction (still lumps in some of the rooms, broken tile, stained tile, creaking floor boards). Having lived with the poor carpeting job for 3 years now we are fed up and now we need to hire a new carpet company to come fix the errors Marra Flooring made. Although Rob was responsive and worked hard to correct the most of many, many errors his crew made I would never hire Marra flooring again.

The installers cancelled the scheduled day but reschedule for the next day. I was expecting them between 8 and 9 AM. they called at 9:00AM saying they would be there at 9:30. They showed up at 10:00. That's the only downside. The upside is they did a BEAUTIFUL job. My new back splash is pristine and done very professionally and was worth the wait. Since we used natural stone, i wish they had selected the best tiles from the lot, but in the end, it didn't take away from the overall look. Actually some people would call it character. The tiles they replaced in the bathroom an hall are perfect, you would never know they were redone. The team is very nice, Levi called to see if i was satisfied and Glen and Rob came to inspect the job. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.

It went perfectly. Prior to install they took their time with us helping us select a carpet that would work for our home and our current lifestyle. They are great to work with. When it came to installation day they arrived punctually at the agreed upon time. They were professional and courteous throughout the installation. The carpet looks great and feels great. A great company to work with and so much better than National / Regional Chains.

The job went great. The team completed it on time and on budget. There were no hidden costs or any issues encountered. Glenn came out and did the site survey. His team then came out a week or so later and removed the existing tile, replacing the following day and grouting the final day. The guys who came out were very friendly and did a great job. I'd recommend Marra w/o question.

It went well with all project things don't always go well and that is when you find out who you are working with. every time there was a bump everything was addressed and the job was done well. If we need to hire for these services we will be calling Marra Flooring

Installed glass tile, did a good job came back and fixed grout and caulking issues.

Marra was great to deal with. Their service was responsive and accurate and they were able to work in my flooring on a pretty tight timeline. All charges were clearly laid out so there were no surprises and they had a great selection of patterns to choose from. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very nice job. Priced very reasonably, all areas cleaned well daily. Very pleasant and talented tile installers. Able to have them come and go to do the work when we were not home.

All went very well. Marra Flooring was very responsive to any issues/questions that arose. They did an excellent job with everything and cleaned up each day. They disposed of all of the old flooring. Rob Marra and his crew were very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. I would definitely use them again for any upcoming projects and recommend them to others.

They have been fantastic so far. They are very personable and think about our needs rather than trying to sell us up. He gave us options and realistic ideas of what we needed the floor for. He is very family friendly.

Marra Flooring did an amazing job. They went above and beyond in every way: punctual, efficient, clean and great work. We highly recommend and will be using them again!

They were very good. The repair was efficient and the price was reasonable. The owner and the workmen were very nice people.

Our experience with Marra Flooring was exceptional. The quality of materials and the work were top-notch, and the whole team was a pleasure to work with. We suspected that all was not well with our subfloor, but when the old tile was removed it became clear that the situation was far worse than we had thought. Marra took charge of the situation, brought in the right people that day to fix the floor properly, and installed an amazing tile. Marra turned what could have been a nightmare scenario into a fabulous customer service experience. We could not be happier with how they treated us, or with the finished product. We will absolutely go back to Marra Flooring for our future projects.
