JSP Tree and Landscape

I can't say enough good things about Jacob and his crew. They did an outstanding job of clearing my property (very heavy overgrowth) and at a very reasonable price. He worked around his schedule to fit me in with very short notice. I found Jacob to be very personable and great to work with. And being an older, single lady, that was quite a comfort. I will definitely hire him again and recommend him to friends and family. GREAT JOB!!! And thank you HomeAdvisor.

Jacob responded to my request immediately, was available to talk and go over the work I wanted done, and submitted a proposal, all very quickly and professionally. He is also a very friendlly person, which made things so much easier. We scheduled the work, and he and his crew came and took care of everything we had agreed upon in a single day. We finished by going over the job and some future work that he could do for me. I was very satisfied and would recommend JSP Landscaping and Construction to anyone without reservation.

Jake came when he said he would and did a nice job.

Jake did some of the contracted work well, especially initially. He had some difficulty with a sub-contractor that changed the schedule. Then the work was interrupted due to a family matter for him. As time went on, with elements of the contracted work unfinished, I contacted him to try to review the contract and get the work finished, He answered several emails and telephone calls regarding my request to review the work to date so it could be finished up, On one call he mentioned that the job was costly and loosing $ for him. He did not review the work with me, or stop by to see the items I was talking about, but stopped answering calls.

I called JSP for the first time today. Even though my driveway was plowed by another company this morning, I needed deep snow removed from my waltks and in front of the garage. I was concerned I may not find someone today with this large storm but Jake responded by phone soon after my request and was able to come to my house in a very reasonable amount of time. Jake and his assistant were cordial and did a very good job. They were very attentive to completing the job as I requested. I would hire them again.

I hired JSP first for fall cleanup and he did a fine job and was fairly priced. I also use him for snow removal which for me is more than plowing I have a very steep driveway and show paths around the house as well a decks to do. Jake has been punctual and fair works through the night and in the blizzard so far has made 2 passes and will be back to finish as the storm just ended.....

Helped me to achieve my goal of having my tree stump ground down. Had to sub-contract out to another service, Big Beaver Stump Grinding, that went the extra mile and worked hard to help me out at very reasonable price. JSP made all the phone calls for me, looking for the right guy and to get the job I needed done as quickly as possible. He too (JSP) went the extra mile to get rid of the cut down tree stumps and to sweep and clean up the driveway. Very happy!

My yard was really in need of help. I am a widow and could not take care of it. This company cleaned it up and it is looking very healthy and beautiful. He comes on a regular basis and does an excellent job.

JSP came out on the 4th of July to help rescue my cat that had been up in a tree (35 feet up) for almost 4 days (without food or water). We were not aware of the cat being in the tree but had heard him from time to time not thinking to look up into the tree (until the 4th day). The fire or police department do not help. When I called Service Magic, JSP Landscaping called me back within 10 minutes and was on their way in two hours. I did get charged $400 for about 2 hours travel and 30 min climbing a 40 foot ladder but if it is your pet, you are willing to pay it.

Jake called me right away after I submitted my Service Magic request and he was able to stop by the same day to give me a quote on not just mowing my lawn (1 acre) but also on taking down some trees and clean up of overgrown vegetation and poison ivy around the house and property. He and his crew worked tirelessly over the next few days and did a great job. I am already thinking about the next landscaping project Jake can work on.

JSP Landscape assured me 2 tons of gravel was enough for my shed base project even when I asked for 3 to be delievered/provided specs and dimensions. I didn't have enough stone to complete my project, and was told numerous times they'd be be back with more gravel/never called or showed. I was finally forced to go and get another ton myself in my 1/2 ton pickup defeating the purpose of hiring this guy! Poor communication (none), false promises and shady business practices (said they'd call with price/instead just arrived with gravel and told me there was a minimum purchase, nearly double the price of local stone yard.) I'd AVOID this company

I hate to give a feedback that will effect the rating of the pro. JSP might be very good with Irrigation but know nothing about plumbing. I was looking for someone to DE-winterize the condo. I Even stated that in the work order. JSP was the first call so I hire him on the spot thinking he was a license plumbing. I asked again if he does DE-winterize and he said yes. Came can't get the work done took the money and I still need a plumbing to finish the job because he's not license. He shouldn't have touching my pipes....
