Roy and a helper arrived in the morning and began their work. They came in and removed the old panel and all the debris and replaced it with a new panel complete with a generator cutover switch. They did it at a much better price then 3 of the other contractors listed here on Angie's list for the exact same work. He sealed up the space around the service feed to prevent water from coming back into the house and ruining the new panel. The wiring was all neat and tidy and everything and everything works perfectly again.

We have been very happy with all of the work they have done. Their work, customer service and prices are great.

Their price was reasonable. They were good and returned my call. They were reliable and on time.

We tried to time the work so that it would be done before we moved into our newly-purchased house. Roy was juggling a couple of commitments at the time, so to make this possible he hired another electrician, whose pace seemed on the slow side and who had the occasional slip-up (a nonfunctional outlet, lights installed in the wrong location). Since we were being billed by the hour, the job came to more than we were expecting, maybe $1700, if I remember rightly. Generally we found Roy fair to deal with and professional. But we were disappointed by our overall experience with him. We took him on knowing we were paying a high rate and figuring we'd get top quality work in return. But there were too many goofs on the part of the sub. I understand our insistence on the particular completion date is partly to blame, but we were left feeling like we didn't get our money's worth.

They were professional, knowledgeable, and we were completely comfortable having them work around our house. They were on time and punctual and came in as estimated. We would happily use them again.

I chose Roy randomly because he's a parent at my kids' school, but I couldn't have been more pleased. He returned my call immediately, came right over to assess the problem, gave me a very accurate estimate, performed the work within 24 hours, and did a great job. He is very personable and has a great sense of humor; it was a pleasure to have him in my house. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him to anyone.

The work was quick, and the electricians left the room somewhat cleaner than it was when they arrived.

I don't remember what he charged me this time out but I can say beyond the shadow of a doubt he is one of the most inexpensive electricians out there. His knowledge of this craft has been passed down to him from a family background, and he is a master at what he does. I highly recommend him and will only use his services when I need them.
