It was excellent, they were on time, they cleaned up after themselves, they were very good and very professional.

Very well- Charlie and his assistant arrived on time, discovered the problem and replaced the valves.

Quick response...quick callback and next day service. He understood the system and diagnosed the issue quickly. Installed a part,. Done within an hour. No problems since. Also, I later called back with a CO alarm problem, which he answered over the phone for free. He told me to replace the alarms, which were old, and that solved the problem

Wanted to get an estimate for a yearly boiler tune-up. Two calls... two voicemails... zero response.

Expected a call back but never responded after initial callback.

Charlie was great. He was extremely responsive and did awesome work. Everything was done about a year ago and I haven't had a single problem. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber. Even with all that work, we only had one work day without water. It was awesome.

Charlie is a gentleman. He is one of the ONLY contractors I know who returns all his phone calls - even if he can't take your job. I hooked up to the sewer system last year and I just got my first water bill. It was a bit of a shock. I called the town and found out that we can get another water meter for the water that doesn't go through the sewer. I have a 9 zone sprinkler system and a pool so why pay a sewer charge for that water? The $1,000 price tag included almost $400 for the new meter and approx $75-100 for the permit that Charlie had to pull. This was not a quick job, he had to go to the town, get the meter and the permit, install it, wait for the town to send someone to inspect it...ETC. I now have a separate water meter for the sprinkler and pool water and a brand new faucet and lines. I would highly recommend Charlie and the work he does. OH - and he found me a contractor to replace my walkway who actually called me back too.

Everything went very smoothly. I couldn't be there the day he did the work so I left the back door unlocked, and by the time I got home that afternoon there was a new boiler in the basement, the basement was cleaner than I'd left it, and since then everything has worked smoothly. Charlie told me the few things to look for, and said he'd be back first thing next heating season to do a final boiler skimming to remove any excess oil, but so far we've been using the boiler still this season and all is well.

I called Sunday morning. He showed up an hour later. Forty minutes later the new tank was working.

Charlie is great to work with, is a good problem solver and very professional. We did the demolition ourselves so he had to come both before and after to plan his part of the job. He reworked the plumbing in a tight corner shower and installed a new sink. He and his helper came when they said they would and got the job done quickley.

Lovett did an excellent job installing the equipment at a cost that was the lowest among the six bids that I received. I was slightly concerned moving forward with the contract at the lowest price because its well known that the cheapest guy is often the shottiest. However, Charlie and his team did an excellent job. Setting up the appoint was quick and easy, I worked with Charlie and his wife Jennifer to find a day that worked well for both Charlie and me. The crew showed up right on time. Charlie introduced me to his team and communicated his daily work plan well. He informed me about the stages of the replacements and communicated well. The went right to work and spent the next 7 hours removing the old burner and installing the new one. At the end of the day, they cleaned up all the old material, removed the old burner, and swept the basement clean. After the install was done, Charlie spent 10 minutes communicating the new unit's operation and other pertinent information. In addition, Charlie service the other boiler that day free of charge. He's pretty much the man. I give him my highest recommendation.

It went fantastically. I realized I didn't have any hot water at about 6:30 last night. I haven't been able to find a plumber who I both liked and didn't leave me feeling ripped off, so I went on Angie's list and found Lovett's Plumbing and Heating and sent him a message after reading all the great reviews, including and A for price. He called me in about 5 minutes and said he'd come over this morning. He called to say he could come over at 8:30 AM, was here in 10 minutes, showed me what had happened to that I could fix it myself in the future, and charged me $95. I am a VERY, VERY happy person as a result. .

Charlie and his assistant (who's name escapes me at this time but he was very pleasant) arrived on-time and as usual was very professional. He and his assistant were careful to try to not track snow & muck into the house and protected our floors. He fixed the shower, installed a new disposal and a new faucet, and fixed a leak we had just discovered in the dish washer. I was actually surprised that he remembered about the disposal and brought it with him to install. I thought we would have to have him come out again to do that installation since we had called the night before for the shower emergency. I would HIGHLY recommend Charlie - he is a very trustworthy, professional person who does high quality work.

Working with Charlie was a pleasure, he explained what they were doing, came on time and cleaned up when finished. This was a 2 day job. Charlie also noticed that the gas line to my dryer was not connected properly and fixed that as well when he was here. I am looking forward to working with him again for other projects that need to be done.

Have used them 3 times now. The first two visits were from their plumber who was excellent ( fast responsive polite and clean) I have had some plumbing issues before and have been burned by other plumbers. I could tell right away that this was a family company that cared about repeat business Last service was done by the owner of the company and he too was like his employee. Fast and neat. Even though my job was at the end of the day and he ended up getting drenched by a pipe that was full of unexpected dirty water, he wasn't phased and took the time to do the job right

I had gotten an estimate for the exact same service and parts from a large regional chain for $3450, and was skeptical. Called Lovett based on Angieslist, and got a call back within an hour, and Charlie gave me really helpful advice about various options (tankless versus heat pump versus standard tank water heaters). He even knew my house's water pressure based on my address! Charlie and his crew came the next morning, explained everything in detail but not so much that I'd need an advanced degree in HVAC/plumbing to understand, and were clean, quick, and professional.

The toilets in two bathrooms needed to be removed and then replaced after the floors were tiled. It was a difficult job to time because the plumber had to work around the schedule of other work and needs. Also, it was scheduled right after the holidays. I called several plumbers who were rated highly on Angie's. I selected Jim because he was extremely helpful, was willing to schedule his crew so they could do the work as soon as the tile was ready, and gave a very competitive (although not the lowest) price. The person who removed the toilets came on time, explained what he was doing and how, and gave us some suggestions regarding whether to replace or keep the old toilets. He worked quickly and left no mess. After the tiling was completed, Jim sent someone to replace the toilets (one new - which he brought - and one old). Again, he was very friendly and did the work quickly, and left no mess. It went so well, we have asked Jim to do some other work and will continue to do so. Maybe Angie's needs an additional criterion called: "A nice person and very helpful"

Charlie Lovett has been my plumber of choice for the past several years; in fact, he is the only plumber I would call. Yes, he knows the ins and outs of plumbing. Equally important, he is dependable and has responded to me promptly in crisis situations. He has always tried to do work for me according to my scheduling preferences. He is hardworking, honest, skillful, pleasant and patient. Who could ask for anything more?

Lovett Plumbing replaced our boiler and did an outstanding job. Our boiler suddenly failed the day before the temperature dropped to freezing and we were in a pinch to get a new boiler. Charlie Lovett and his team were amazing. Charlie came over immediately, assessed the situation and got a plan in place to get us a new boiler. They were efficient and professional. Highly recommend this Plumber!

Charlie did rough and finish plumbing for a new full bathroom and remodeled kitchen, including adding new drains and water supplies and relocating a gas line. I would highly recommend Charlie and his team. He and his team are responsive, they show up on time, and they work efficiently and neatly. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. In addition, Charlie and his team are courteous, communicative, and a pleasure to work with. I would strongly recommend him, and already have to a neighbor who hired him to replace a hot water heater.

Massachusetts had an exceptionally cold night - we woke up last Saturday morning with no heat along with many other residents. Our problem winded up being a burst pipe (an emergency situation). We called 16 different plumbers who were all inundated with frozen pipe situations. Although Charlie was crazy busy, he called us back in a timely manner and told us that he would be there within 2 hours. He was courteous, professional and found the burst pipe right away. He was incredibly reasonably and we are so grateful to him that he resolved the problem right away. We highly recommend Charlie and would not hesitate to call him for all our plumbing needs.

I had a leaking radiator - water draining into the basement and everything - so I needed someone to come right away. Lovett understood the problem, came the same day, and quickly replaced the valve which was in a very difficult space. I was relieved how well it went!
