They were reasonable on the price. I wasn't always home but they just came and did their job.

The work was fine but he is not reliable.

Left messages twice and they never called back. That was a while ago

My experience with him went poorly. We talked over the phone but he never got back to me with a quote.

Two visits (to stay ahead of the leaves). Removed all leaves, mowed and trimmed lawn, removed pile of branches and yard waste accumulated over the season. As always, just one phone call in mid-Fall. Francisco watches the accumulation on the ground and responds as needed. Completely satisfactory.

I had a similar experience to the review of 11/19/2012. I called and left a message, but in 24 hours, they have not called me back.

I called. Left a message. No one got back to me.

We were a customer last year and wanted to be on this year too, but the service is so sporadic this year that I wonder if we're a customer anymore. Unfortunately he hasn't responded to my multiple queries via email.

We were customers of Francisco's for two years and looking forward to a third. However, he has not answered our numerous requests for contact to set up a schedule for this spring's cleanup and mulch. We are now left in the lurch and scrambling to find another lawn service in this high time. We wonder if he has gone out of business. Last time we had contact with him was when his workers removed snow in March 2013.

He has done a pretty good job and I have used him for a number of years.

Although a bit bumpy at first because of miscommunication regarding the scope of work, the entire completed project was great. He is a very pleasant man who strives to accomplish his work without the use of chemicals. We need more landscapers with these goals! I will definitely use him again.

I really can't say enough good things about the service. They come regularly and do extremely high quality work. We have had other services doing the lawn in the past, and really the lawn has never looked better since Francisco has taken it over. The fall cleanup went flawlessly. The snow removal went extremely well as well. There were a couple of tiny issues with the snow removal in terms of exactly where we wanted snow removed but since this was the first time and I have already spoken to Francisco and he said he was going to make sure in the future they would remove the snow in the additional areas we really don't have an issue. After Hurricane Sandy a tree fell in the backyard. Francisco's team came and removed the tree the very next day after we called them. It was an significant project because it was a large tree. The prices that he charges are highly competitive. So far it has been terrific!

Francisco Chicojay the owner/manager of Francisco's Landscaping responded immediately to our initial call for an estimate in April 2012 and shortly thereafter, our small homeowners association agreed upon a multi-month service delivery. The period of service began in May 2012 and ended in November 2012. Francisco's crew was always prompt, efficient, and very professional. Our association looked forward to their weekly visits as their work left our lawn looking the best in the neighborhood. Phone calls for additional lawn services or questions made directly to Francisco Chicojay were returned usually within 24 hours. Our small homeowners association agreed unanimously to renew our partnership with Francisco's Landscaping for 2013.

I called this company twice to get a quotation but never got the quotation.

The first year went especially well: it was always a pleasure to come home from work to see a clean and orderly yard, and Juan Chicojay was responsive through email to special requests. But the last year and a half I found that Juan didn't respond so readily through email when I would note, for instance that his crew had ignored cleaning up the last third of the backyard (an issue that repeated itself) or ask if he would remove a bunch of branches (he never responded until three weeks later when I told him never mind I did it myself and he wrote to apologize). This August I was working in the front yard when his crew came and did work in the backyard but never came to work in the front. When I checked the backyard his crew had cut down my day lilies. When I called Juan very upset about this he did get back right away and said that yes his crew had cut down the day lilies to clean them up and that his crew did not know every plant nor did he and that because they did not speak English were reluctant to go into the front to do work. I was disappointed in his response and as we moved toward my saying I did not think I might continue hiring them he did not offer to correct future behavior or reduce the bill so his lackadaisical attitude convinced me to fire them. To Juan's credit, he did not send me a bill for their last visit and my day lilies have grown back but I am saddened that it had to end this way.

I used his services on a weekly basis. He does regular lawn cutting and maintenance. He also does the seasonal cleanups for winter. His prices are very competitive and he does exactly what he says he is going to do.

All services have gone very well. They are very responsive to individual needs. Our lawn is mulched (accept when it is not appropriate, as in early spring or fall when leaves are on the ground) and organic products are used for fertilizer periodically. Our lawn has never looked so good. The grass is green, lush, and thick and there are no empty spots like there used to be.

I had a compost pile that my regular landscaper was taking months to get around to. Francisco came out, gave me an estimate and cleared it the next day for a fraction of the cost. He did an excellent job and was very punctual.

They are reliable and courteous, as well as efficient.

Francisco has been doing our yard work for two years now, including spring and fall clean-up, and we will definitely be using him again next year. We love how he is almost always on-hand with his crew to supervise the work, and the yard and driveway look great afterward. We are also planning on using him for organic lawn care (seeding, fertilizer, etc.) as well as lawn maintenance next year; he has been very responsive to different problems in the yard at different places given light and shade, and is knowledgeable about how to have a healthy yard naturally. Francisco is easy to reach by phone and email, and is always responsive and considerate. As with most outside contractors he just comes when weather permits, which sometimes means the yard is a little more overgrown than we like for a few days as he catches up on jobs, but if you need to get it done by a certain time and let him know it gets done.

For the amount of work they did I thought the price was reasonable. They were very good, very friendly and come when they say they will. They got the work done in a timely manner. I would say their efficiency stands out and they are meticulous about what they do. We are planning to call them again.

They were really expensive for the work I had done. They were extremely overpriced, I had to ask them for a discount. I will not be using them again.

He's very reliable and the work is done well. He definitely is reliable for snow removal, he shows up and makes sure everything is done and that is definitely a good thing.

I called for an estimate and although it took awhile to get reply, he stopped by with a complete and details service and maintenance proposal including his email address. I found him to be professional and very quick to reply to emails when I asked for further clarifications. I continue to use his services and would highly recommend Francisco's Landscaping to anyone.
