Fish Window Cleaning

They came when I wasn't here. We didn't really have an appointment. They were very nice and professional. I talked to them on the phone.

The Fish estimator was very prompt and gave me a detailed estimate. The workers showed up on schedule and worked diligently and quietly. They were very thorough and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves except for a couple of spots. I would use them again.

They did a good job. They came when they said they would, did the job and were neat. They did not leave a mess in the house and that was important to me. I thought the price was alright. I think they did a good job with the windows, but I wasn?t impressed with the way they handled the screen.

They were late because their boss didn't tell them how to get here & the maps are wrong. But once they arrived, they were terrific. They moved their ladder when the photographer needed to take photos (to sell the house). They did give us a scare at one point when they were walking on a recently rebuilt trellis, but stopped when we yelled! And the windows look terrific.

There had been a lot of construction in the neighborhood over the past few years with resulting dust and dirt in the air. So everything was very dirty. I called Fish, and Ed Hiller came over and gave me an estimate. I told him I wanted to wait until the gardeners had cleaned up the yard, and I called him the day after they did the work. It was scheduled for the next couple of days. A crew of two men arrived on time (actually, a little ahead of time) and worked steadily, one on the inside and one on the outside. The one on the inside wore booties over his shoes so nothing was tracked in.

Raul, the ops manager, came on Monday to give me an estimate. Since they were short crew, he returned on Wed with another worker to do the work, as he had made the time commitment. They were efficient, nice to have in the house, and did a great job.

They showed up on time. The workers seemed to be a decent group of people. They did a good job. The price was pretty reasonable. They cleaned up nicely after themselves.

Fish was very responsive to my initial phone call and gave me an estimate right away. The work was scheduled promptly. On the day of the job, no one showed up at the designated time and no one called. I had to call the office to find out what was going on. The office person was very responsive and immediately went to work to find out what was causing the delay. Apparently the crew had been delayed at a prior job and had failed to call me. I was a little aggravated as I had to take time off work and I was delayed getting back to my office. However, when the guys did arrive, they set up very quickly, went right to work, and did a top notch job. It was a big job, as I have many windows and four floors worth of work, including two skylights. I was very happy with the end result. The windows sparkled! And the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use Fish again.

The Fish company did a very good job. There were three men cleaning three floors of windows in an antique home. They finished on time and did a superior job. They were very careful of my furniture and window treatments. My carpets were protected with drop cloths and the men wore covers over their shoes to protect my carpets and floors. The men were very professional and friendly. I would recommend them and will use Fish window cleaning services in the future. They were on time and finished on one day as they planned.

Everything was put back --no mess during or after the cleaning, and the windows just sparkled! I subsequently hired them myself to wash the windows in my own home and had the same great experience.

I am glad there is a company out there to do the work many others won't. I guess cleaning windows is difficult but this company sure made it look easy. They were friendly and did a great job of cleaning all of my windows.

I thought that they were great. They did a very good job on the cleaning. I was left very happy with them. They showed up on time for the job. The only thing I could say that I did not think was that great is that they did not have a ladder big enough this time.

The two-man crew arrived late, with no explanation or apology; barely spoke to me, only to each other. They were careless with my hardwood floor and narrowly missed damaging furniture as they moved around in great haste, removing windows. I had to ask them repeatedly to pay more attention. I wasn't consulted about where the washing would take place; crew set up an easel-like apparatus in the middle of my parquet living-room floor, with no move made to protect nearby furniture. When I asked if they could do the cleaning in another area, they proposed the sidewalk in front of my house, which is a public thoroughfare with no setback from the foundation of my house. They seemed uninterested in the work to be performed, indifferent to my concerns, and were extremely unprofessional in demeanor. I asked them to leave before they could begin the work, as I felt very uncomfortable with them. I did subsequently exchange e-mails with the owner, Andrew Winig, who was very apologetic and responsive

The workers arrived on time, did the outside work first, and finished in under 6 hours.

Two men took about half a day to do the work. They wore shoe covers and were meticulous about their work. The results were excellent!

I was very pleased. This is the first time, I've hired someone solely on the basis of Angie's List recommendations. The estimate was reasonable, and they stuck to it. They sent two personable men, who were careful not to make a mess in the house. They wore shoe covers inside. They were very thorough. It took longer than they projected, because they scraped some stray paint off some windows. They were quite meticulous. I was impressed, that they knew how to disconnect and re-connect our alarm on the windows. I had forgotten to mention that to the owner, but it wasn't a problem. I have to admit, we've lived in this house 11 years, without ever having the windows professionally cleaned. They are sparkling, I feel like inviting the neighbors in, just to appreciate my newly clean windows! Will definitely recommend to friends.

After the job was done one of their employees showed me the windows that had been scratched by the painters this summer as they scrapped paint. They were very conscientious and did a very good job. I will call them again.

The 2 person cleaning crew arrived on schedule and performed the work effectively and quickly. The windows are now very clean.
